Madame Alexander Dolls

Thanks for stopping by! Beautiful all original dressed 17″-18″ Vintage Madame Alexander Maggie Walker doll! Odors- I do not detect any strong offensive odors. Stringing- Her arms are tight and hold poses with a new band. Her legs are a little loose but her walker works good. Head – Clean, no stains or major marks. There is a little faint glue residual glue at right edge of wig if you pull her hair back. Hair – Hair is clean, thick and in original set with a few fly aways. She has her original red ribbons and hair pins in place. Makeup/Paint – Lips are red and original. Cheeks are bright and original. Eyes – Eyes are clear, clean and a very pretty blue. They open and close easily. Eyelashes are full thick and straight. Body- and limbs are clean and free of stains, no cracks to seams, minimal scuffing and play wear. Clothing She wears her original clothing that is pictured in her booklet. Dress is taggged Maggie Walker, coat is tagged Madame Alexander. All seams and snaps intact. No holes or tears. There are no stains. Taffeta dress is clean, color even and bright, fabric is crisp/stiff. Cuffs and collar are probably a tad off white. Rhinestone buttons intact, nice button holes. Full slip is clean, no damage. There is one snap missing at waist, Matching panties are clean and nice. Both have good fabric sizing. There are a couple faint spots of fading to outer shell if you look closely. Red lining is clean and bright with even color. Seams and buttons intact. Hard to find red velvet beret/tam hat is clean, lovely color. I don’t see any wear to velvet. Elastic band still has good elasticity. Socks are clean but do have some light age yellowing. Black shoes are excellent, no damage. Her curler box is complete with curlers, no major damage She comes with her original wrist hang tag that still has original string, very nice condition, I don’t see any damage. These are used vintage items and usually show some degree of play wear. Please, always refer to photos as part of description. She is hard plastic/vinyl 20 tall and in over all bright clean original VERY GOOD condition. She has beautiful uniform coloring throughout. She has all original face paint. She has full soft pink lips, light cheek blush, blue/green sleep eyes (they are a little cloudy), thick shiny eye lashes, pale gray shadow and well defined brows. She is marked Alexander on the back of her head. She has thick shiny strawberry honey blonde hair. It falls to her shoulders in soft curls. Most of her hair is still in the original set. There are a few places that need to be coaxed back into place. I see no missing or thin plugs or cut hair. Her body looks wonderful. There are a few minuscule imperfections here and there. Please take a look at the pictures. Her limbs are tight move and will hold a pose. She has all of her beautifully sculpted fingers and toes. Wearing Original BLACK Felt suit with Velvet Flower Hat, Super Rare GLOVES!! Hose, slip (this has a couple VERY small holes and spots). The elastic is strong on panties; All made by Madame Alexander in 1950′s. I think her Face is as gorgeous as the best of the best vintage Cissy’s. I believe she is all original with absolutely no enhancements. She has such a stunning combination. Open and close eyes. Her skin tone is wonderful with no stains, no unwanted marks. Although I have not taken her panties off, (they have a great elastic waist that I want to preserve), but I have careful checked under them in all of the usual places, hip joints, crotch, knees and neck joint for seem splits or cracks and she has. Cissy’s Suit is in exceptionally wonderful condition (just the elastic is loose). Original off white satin panties with great elastic waist and lace leg trim, original back seam nylon stockings. This is a lovely 1953 strung blonde Alexander-kin from Madame Alexander in her pretty yellow polished cotton school frock with her black pinafore. Her dress is tagged Alexander-kins. She is a strung, non walker made of a heavier material. She has clear blue eyes, pretty blushed cheeks, dark eyelashes and a pretty red mouth. She also wears her original flowered black hat, organdy slip and fuzzy bottomed, top-stitched original shoes. She will come with an Alexander-kins box that says Blonde # 400. Thank you for looking! Beautiful original face coloring with lovely complexion, rosy cheeks and bright red lips. Pretty reddish-brown hair in the original set. She has on her original clothing. Her dress has long sleeves that are separate from the dress, but are connected to the dress by elastic. She is a strung doll and is about 14.5 tall. Pretty hair is in its original set, but there is some uneven coloring. All whites of dress and flowers have browned with age. As you can see her dress has many scattered brown age spots. No tag on dress. When I hold her close and smell her, there is a light odor. I have not noticed it when displayed. On a scale of 0-10 with 0 being no odor and 10 being a disgusting odor, I would rate her a 1-2. She has some scattered brown spots on her body that may or may not clean? I have not tried cleaning her. Please view all photos carefully. Use the photos to help determine the condition. This one-owner Cissy has the finest make-up, vibrant color, a lovely complexion and an excellent body with no splits or chew marks. She wears her original two-piece tagged outfit: High-waist slacks with suspenders and a shell-pink blouse with three-quarters sleeves and bow at the neckline. Also includes panties with excellent elastic but soem discoloration. Cissy’s only imperfections are from storage: lashes are very full but curved up at the inner right eye and her thick hair is flattened from being in the box for sixty years. Original box (no top) has tears/wrinkles but still boasts its clear label. Although the doll has tosca hair, the label says’blonde’, but I have seen adorable pictures of the doll, clothing and box when this doll was given to her first and only owner on Christmas, 1957. Here for your consideration is a 14 Margaret face doll produced by the Madame Alexander doll company in the late 1940′s or early 1950′s. Margaret, dressed as a bridesmaid, is wearing a vintage, factory made gown. It is taffeta, in a pretty shade of peach, and is decorated with gold sequins on the bodice, shoulders, and on a ruffle at the hips. The gown is in very good condition. There are no stains or holes. There was one seam opening in the back which I repaired. It closes with three secure snaps in the back. Margaret is also wearing gold shoes (some of the gold foil has worn off here and there). And vintage taffeta panties. The doll is in excellent condition. Her face paint is lovely and vibrant. Her brows and under lashes are well defined and her brush lashes are full. Her sleep eyes open and close as they should. She has full red lips and softly blushed cheeks. No issues to note with her body. There are no odors. She is tightly strung and will hold a pose. She has a blonde mohair wig fashioned into soft elegant curls, and accented with a pink rose. She carries a bouquet of silk roses. Margaret is beautiful and ready for display.
