The dress is accented with a “Richard Original” hat and purse. The pretty hat is adorned with cherries that compliments the cherry pattern in the dress fabric. What a sweet summer outfit for Cissy. To complete the ensemble the doll will arrive wearing vintage white Cissy heels accented with red rhinestones, vintage Madame Alexander taffeta Cissy panties in excellent condition no holes, replaced stockings no holes, also her red bead necklace and earrings, and a faux ruby gold tone ring. The doll herself is also in excellent condition. She is well strung and holds a pose. Her beautiful blue eyes have all of their original thick lashes. Her face is lovely with original blush and rosy lips. The only flaw the doll has is a small hip split high up on the inside of her right leg. The picture makes it look much larger than it is, and it doesn’t show when the doll is posed normally, as shown in the last photo. Thank you for looking at this beautiful doll. This is a Stunning Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in #916 tagged crisp version of the Navy Blue Taffeta Dress. She has high color to her cheeks. In her book Cissette A Complete Guide to the Madame Alexander Dolls by Marjorie E Merrod M. She states that this dress is a variation with the blue and white sheer blue and white dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset. The organdy has not aged in color as viewed in person. The tagged taffeta dress is in super crisp clean excellent condition. Cissette is a 9 inch hard plastic doll in very clean condition. She is also wearing her basic clean and pristine chemise under the dress. Her hard plastic torso has pink color transfer front and back (below the waist). She is also wearing red elastic high heels and small rhinestone earrings. Her hard plastic body is super clean with tight joints, Her arms hold a pose and her medium blond zig zag stitched wig is absolutely beautiful. It is in the original very very shiny set with long curls to the nape of her neck. She has high color to her cheeks, peach eyelids, pink nail polish, full face paint and coral pink lips. Smoke and pet free. Additional: The color transfer, particularly red/pink, is usually from something she once wore. At the time this doll was produced, red dyes were very unstable, not like today. If you laundered an article of red clothing with your “whites”, you would have pink whites at the end. So she wore something red at one point in her life. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with soft vinyl jointed arms. She is stunning in her lemon yellow dotted swiss dress with white puffed sleeves. Black velvet bows on her skirt and velvet laced through eyelet around her neck was added. Under the dress is a white nylon taffeta slip and undies. Nice tight Cissy stockings and black Cissy shoes. Her face is gorgeous with high cheek color, full lashes, full red mouth and matte finish. Her deep auburn hair is pulled back to her neck and is tied with a black velvet bow. Her accessories are a black straw hat with yellow flowers, black straw bag and lemon yellow nylon gloves. Her only jewelry is a pair of gold ball earrings. She has had a spa day to enhance her face. This is a stunning vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll in her original box. Cissy stands 20 inches tall and wears her original tagged lingerie, nylons with back seam, and flower embellished pink heels. Her hair is in the original set with a bow at the back. Cissy has stunning turquoise blue eyes and beautiful face paint. There is a small scuff on one cheek. Please see the photos. Her original box shows wear. The top is taped and the corners of the lid are broken. Issues to note on the doll: the scuff on the cheek as mentioned above, one arm is a bit loose as if the elastic has lost some of its stretch, and there is an area with a bit of a pink tint to the back and top of the hair. Possibly from laying against something pink or red. This is light and hard to see, I have tried to capture it in the photos. She has some missing lashes on one eye. 20 vintage 50′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Cissy has been restrung to her head and arms. She is clean and has no odors or stains. She has lovely blue eyes with full lashes. The right eye has had lashes replaced in the middle of the eye. She has had blush added and she has had a matte finish protectant sealer applied to her face. She has had no repairs to her body. Her arms are a lovely match. She is missing some of the rubber inside the socket of the right arm. This does not show unless arm is extended outward. Her hair is clean and has had all new ties added. Beautiful red hair with no missing hair or cut areas. She is wearing a strapless teddy of stretch black lace. Ruffled elastic is sewn at the top of the bodice and around the legs.
