Madame Alexander Dolls

This little cutie is one of my favorites- just look at those eyes and the expression! As I detailed in the photos, there are still some smudges where I have never been able to remove the stain. Also, the spring I placed in her left leg could be tightened by a more experienced doll repair person. For me, she is always standing not sitting. Over the years I’ve picked up different pieces of clothing but the teddy I did make so she would be covered decently so to take if off you need to remove the stitches on the shoulder straps. All in all, she displays well, is sturdy and would be a gem in someone’s collection. I’m sure you have other questions- I’m happy to answer them. This is the Large Sized Hall’s Lifetime Furniture Wood Armoire / Wardrobe produced in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the 1950s. Includes: Wardrobe with 2 drawers. Measurements: please see photos. Suitable for 16″ to 21″ dolls like Madame Alexander’s Cissy, Margaret, Maggie, Caroline, Kathy, Bitsey, Baby Genius, Elise, Marybel and Kelly. I could expand this list to include Miss Revlon and so many others but I don’t know them as well as I know Alexander Sizes. Condition Issues: Some surface scratches but very good condition. A few stains inside one drawer. Last photo shows the other furniture items. This furniture has enjoyed a lot of play and is not mint. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Tosca wig, in original style pulled back in curls with. Tagged pink and white striped dress. Pink rhinestone earrings and pink pearl necklace. Pink and gold strappy high heels. Straw hat with silk and velvet flowers. Taffeta petticoat and satin panties. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has tosca hair in the original style with lovely curls pulled to the back, the hair is pined in place with the original barrette across the top. Sparkling blue-green sleep eyes that open and close, hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, red mouth, pierced ears with. Drop earrings and a wired pink pearl. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original pink and white stripe cotton dress, full circle skirt, buttons up the front, short puff sleeves. Underneath she wears a crisp white taffeta slip with net flounce, stain. The shoes are original pink. High heels with gold straps. The woven hat is vintage 50s. With silk and velvet flowers, pink silk ribbon. Cissy is carrying her pink sequin purse with chain handle. Cissy Doll, Alexander 1950s Blonde in Red Cotton Dress. Cissys blonde hair is pulled back from her face into a low, tucked-under style. Her face makeup is subtle with faint eyeshadow and in the original coloring nothing added to this lovely girl. Her eyelashes are full and look original. She wears a vibrant red dress with a full skirt and fitted bodice. Three white buttons and white trim decorate the dress, which is tagged Cissy. Vintage 1950′s Elise Bride Doll. Doll has lovely bright coloring on her face and minimal with minimal wear to her dress. There are a couple of very small pin holes and couple of small white spots. Her veil is also in great condition with maybe one tiny pin hole and the flowers are still in nice condition. She’s wearing her bottoms, hose (Holes in feet), garter, bouquet, and earrings. One pearl just came off of the post. Please note this isn’t shown in photo. Doll has long red hair that could use a little straightening. Her coloring is lovely and eyes open and close correctly. I see one small split in outside left leg. Her feet move up and down. She’s overall in very good condition with great coloring. Happy to answer questions.
