We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 17 Madame Alexander Margaret doll with a lovely even color and complexion. She is from the 1950s and appears close to factory fresh and very displayable. Her nicely blushed cheeks and full lovely lips are stunning. Her arms are nicely connected, strong and tight for her head and legs, so she can hold a pose beautifully for display. Her arms do not hold a pose. Her hair is in incredible condition and set in the loveliest style. Her dark lower lashes highlight her eyes perfectly. –This doll was made to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth Margaret face was only made in 1953 and 1954. I believe this is the 1954 version. She does have the minor unnoticeable rub at the end of her nose. The hoop in her skirt could be reshaped to form a proper circle. The hoop itself feels complete, and it appears free of free on the fabric. —Her coloration is even and true on her face, torso, arms, and legs. Please take note of her stunning unclouded eyes with full intact molded eyelashes that fringe her eyes. Plus, she has the blushed color eyelids for a real striking appearance. Her eyebrows are unfaded. Her beautiful hair is full and even with no thinning or missing areas. I see a little fleck of missing color on the tip of her nose, which could be easily remedied. — —-This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 70 year-old doll. Her coloring is even, beautifully blushed, and her color is unfaded. Her lips are bright and full. She is brought to you by a pet and smoke free home, and she is free of odors or issues. —She is wearing her stunning, and close to immaculate, tagged Madame Alexander taffetta brocade incredible dress trimmed with the pristine blue sash. You can see the tiny hole in the back of the dress, but it really is lost in the folds of the dress when her dress is naturally displayed. I stretched the dress fabric to give you a perfect view. Her bright white gloves are lovely. Her very intact clean hoop skirt with well attached snap buttons is attached to the pretty panties. Her pantyhose are free of damage. Her center snap button shoes are close to original color and condition with only one little dot, stain, on the outside of the right shoe. –The bright, unfaded, and sparkling accents of the rhinestone at her bodice and waist are perfect. Her matching necklace and earrings are intact and undamaged. Her bracelet is intact. —She is intact and complete. She is beautiful and free of issues. —-She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her tagged dress is fresh and crisp with no major detracting noticeable major sign of age related, or sun, discoloration. I feel the photographs portray her well. The fabric on the dress, panties, and slip are all clean, bright, and very displayable. —-Her hair is full with no missing or thinning areas. It is very true to the original style. The color of her hair is stunning. —She shows no age or discoloration. She does not show any marks, or rubs of missing color on her fingers, legs, or body. Her legs walk nicely and smoothly as they should. Her right leg strides big steps; however, her left leg only takes small steps. —Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, no splits under her ears or on her seams, free of major or minor damage. We will not include her stand. — —-Please write with any questions. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Doll Blond in Tagged Queen Costume. Pretty Nineteen-fifties Madame Alexander 20 Teenage Cissy doll in an original costume. Cissy is made of hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, hips and knees. She is strung tight so she can hold a pose. Her knees and hips bend easily. She has pierced ears. Her elbows are not jointed. She has working clear yellow and blue sleep eyes with thick lashes, light painted lower lashes, single stroke eyebrows, tiny amounts of upper eye shadow, pouty lips, lightly blushed cheeks and no body blush. Her queen costume is in good condition and includes the gold brocade gown with medals and blue satin sash, one glove, a bracelet, very full, layered petticoat, hosiery, white elastic heels. Missing her other glove and panties. On the back of her head, Cissy tag inside the gown. I have been told – doll has a “musty” smell. I have a very poor sense of smell – so I don’t smell it. Cissy is in fair, played with condition. This doll has some flaws: eyes are turning yellow from blue, some lashes missing in the center and skin tone is blotchy. Her good points are that she appears to be substantially original because I found other dolls on line, dressed in the Queen costume who also had pierced ears and arms without bending elbows. Her other good point is that her legs pose and bend easily – rare – legs are usually stiff. However, one knee is swingy and does not lock in place – the other knee does lock. Er eyebrows look like they might possibly be re-painted – just not sure. Wig is thick, in original set with a lot of fly-aways, ends are frizzy and wig fabric is showing under the pony tail. Perfect fingers and toes. But no blush on the backs of the hands or knees. Skin tone is clean but blotchy and not even toned. Her arms and head are darker and her torso is lighter than the rest of her. Arms are firmly attached and pose well. Head is firmly attached, sits upright and poses well. Hard plastic body is clean and free of chips, chews or deep scratches. No crotch split, one repaired knee crack and one small 1/4 hip crack. Knee and hip joints bend nicely. Costume is in fair to good condition. Gown closes with working square snaps and has a “wear tear” at the base of the V of the neckline. It also has a seam rip on one side of the bodice that does not go through to the lining – so it is hard to see. One glove is missing. Elastics on bracelet and shoes are stretched out. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. No clothes/ doll only. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red/ auburn wig. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red/ auburn wig in curls with bangs, still has the original threads that tie the hair on the sides. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears (no earrings). There are some marked on the front of the left lower leg, this seems to be in the plastic, like a minor indentation, see photo. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Tagged pink check dress with lace and rhinestone trim. Straw hat, high heel shoes, white taffeta panties. Tosca hair, triple stitched part. Presented here is a beautiful vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll wearing her original tagged pink check dress with roses, it has white lace trim on the arms and accented with. Set rhinestones on the bodice, the skirt is a full circle. She also wears a vintage wide brim pink straw hat with velvet flowers, white taffeta panties. The shoes are original molded white high heels with bows on the instep. The dress and accessories are in excellent vintage condition. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, holds a pose nicely, the strings are good. Lovely face with great color, blue-green eyes that open and close freely, red mouth. Her hair is tosca color, it has a triple stitched part , thick and full with most of the original curl, bangs. This is a beautiful 9 Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in a lovely Cissette Ballerina Outfit. She has her original blonde triple stitched Wig with loads of curls. Beautiful Bright Face coloring with blue green Eyes that open and close easily with pearl earrings. Her Body is in excellent condition and tightly strung. I do see 2 mended lines on her neck. Lovely Vintage Madame Alexander redhead Cissy with tagged outfit. I will start by saying I know very little about vintage MA Cissy, so please feel free to ask questions as I may overlook something of importance. The doll is in very nice, played with condition. First, the doll is very clean with no odors. The body is a healthy peach color with blushing on the hands and knees. Body seems to be tightly strung, but the head is a little loose and doesn’t want to stay in position when moved. I do see a small split on her left leg at the knee, but I do not see any other splits. The body does have some very, very faint marks on the back of her calves. Her lovely red hair is in it’s original set with lots of curls and hardly any flyaway hair. The face does look a bit more yellow than the body. Her blue/green eyes open and close properly. Cissy retains lots of blush on her cheeks. The lips are a salmon color and full with no missing color. I do see a pin dot mark near her nose and another pin dot mark on her left cheek. These marks are very small and hard to see. Cissy does have a few light scratches on her left eyelid. I see no missing eyelashes. The top of her outfit is faded, but clean. I see no issues with the skirt marks, rips, stains, etc. The petticoat seems to be really big on Cissy, put her panties fit well with no noticeable issues. The stockings are rip free and stay up nicely. Such a pretty Cissy who needs a suitable wardrobe and some attention! From a smoke free home. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Doll Blue/green Eyed Brunette. Very pretty Nineteen-fifties Madame Alexander 20 Teenage Cissy doll for you to dress. Cissy is made of hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She is strung tight so she can hold a pose. She does not have ANY cracks in her plastic. She has working blue/green sleep eyes with thick lashes, that are turning green. Nicely painted lower lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, upper eye shadow, pouty lips and lightly blushed cheeks and body. Brunette Saran or Dynel wig mostly in the original set but looks stubby on the ends instead of the usual Alexander tight curls. Her knees and hips bend nicely using care and two hands. On the back of her head. Good, lightly played with condition. Has clear, working sleep eyes with full brush lashes. Her eyes are turning yellow. The whites only slightly but the light blue of the iris is turning yellow making her eyes appear on the green side. Nicely painted original facial features. Wig is thick, bangs are original but bottom is stubby like it was cut. Perfect fingers and toes. Skin tone is clean and even toned except for her arms which are vinyl and a darker color. She has one light stain on the back of one arm. Arms are firmly attached and bend nicely. Hard plastic body is clean and free of chips, chews or deep scratches. No crotch split, knee cracks or hip cracks. Knee and hip joints bend using care. Light paint wear at all joints – especially the neck. VINTAGE 1950s Madame Alexander CISSY DOLL strawberry blonde 20 hard plastic. Original striped dress, underwear, petticoat, & stockings. Underwear and petticoat elastic is loose. I also have a diamond solitaire ring she wears. All her joints are tight and in good working order. Small blemish on her eye but otherwise in very good vintage condition. Sleep eyes work well. To be more specific, there is a faint scratch on the dolls right eyelid. Amazing vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy, completely original. Includes tagged lilac ball gown with streaming flowers to match the flowers in her sandy blonde hair. Hair retains original set, though a bit flat in the back. Cissy also has her original nylons, white satin high heeled shoes, panties and petticoat. She also has her original jeweled ring and lilac and pearl necklace. Also has one pearl earring, the other earring is missing just the pearl. Green eyes, nice coloring and some lashes missing on left eye. There are a few small tears/holes in the netting of her gown.
