Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Original tagged Cissy blue taffeta dress. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched auburn red wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept up on the top with tight curls and long curls down the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged blue taffeta dress with full circle skirt. Underneath is a hard to find taffeta hoop skirt petticoat and cute nylon panties with lace insert and trim, she has blue plastic molded high heel shoes. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, normal wear, the panties have a light stretch across them. The listing is for the doll with the clothing shown, the stand is NOT included. This is a delightful 1956 Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is BKW Kins which means she is a bent knee walker. She is in excellent condition with original longer auburn triple stitched wig, bright perfect coloring with brown brows, green flutter eyes, black under lashes, pink peach cheeks and coral red lips. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. Wendy is wearing a tagged kins light pink taffeta lace dress, organdy lace pinafore, undies, smooth bottom shoes and socks. Outfit is in excellent clean condition with cute silk hair bow. Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Bent knee Cissette Doll. #900 in original box with Cissette Brochure. In my opinion I would say she is as close to unplayed with/mint as you are likely to find. She has obviously been well cared for. That said, let me introduce you to. She is dressed in a tagged lace Chemise, Stockings and High Heels. I measured her height to be 9 1/2 top of her head to the bottom of her heals. Her auburn hair is in the original style with curls and attached pink bow. Her face is beautiful with exceptional coloring and blue eyes. Lace chemise is in excellent condition free of tears or stains with crispy unfrayed tag. Her stockings are free of any damage as are her plastic silver high heels. Her body is clean and undamaged with original coloring (no fading). Her stringing is tight and will hold position when posed. All the elastic on chemise and high heels is unstretched. Her box is in excellent condition free of any broken corners, or marks. The box even has some of the original pink tissue paper lining, included is the original cardboard neck brace. This doll is ready to be prominately displayed in any serious collector’s collection. I have included the maxium number of pictures so be sure to look through them all to see how gorgeous she truely is. This is Cissy by Madame Alexander, circa 1950′s. Her auburn wig is beautiful. Very thick, shiny and clean. Every curl has a bobby pin and she has a hair net. Her face is clean and beautiful. Mark-free with nice blush. Her eyes are clear and clean and open and close. She has full eyelashes and full painted features. Her body and limbs are also very nice with the left leg having rub where it enters the body (see photo). There are no cracks, breaks or distracting marks. She has no odors. Her head tends to tilt to the right. When she is posed, her head is fine but when she is moved, it tends to tilt. Her tagged Cissy dress is excellent and clean. No tears, stains or holes. Her nylons, panties, slip and shoes are not original, however, fit well and they are in nice condition. One shoe has a broken strap. Really a beautiful doll in excellent condition. This is a really pretty Auburn or Red haired Cissy doll by Madame Alexander. I really don’t know much about these dolls. She is jointed and all joints seem tight and work great. She can hold a pose. I don’t see any cracks or splits. There is some paint loss in her crotch area – probably just from over the years rubbing as she moves. One leg seems a little shorter than the other? I’m not sure why. Her auburn hair is very pretty – I think it may be in its original set. The curls are secured – for the most part – with Bobby pins. She has nice even coloring – her arms are the same color as the rest of her. She has lovely blue eyes with no missing lashes. She also has her original lace teddy in great condition – the straps are a little stretched. She us an absolutely lovely doll Please look at the pictures carefully – they are part of the description.
