Has a mild been in storage smell. You know the one! I did wash this by hand and let it air dry. I will leave the rest to you! Seams, button holes and buttons intact. Has its Cissy tag intact. Beautiful 1956 polish cotton polkadot dress. Cissys wearing it so beautifully with a vintage CanCan slip, vintage panties, vintage seamed stockings, The dress is not mint but it is a really good condition it has a small stain looks like small amount of yellowing, which I have not tried to get out and you dont notice it on the doll its hidden in the pleats. Other than that the dress is an excellent condition. Her body has no splits or cracks. Her nose is missing a tiny pit of paint. She does have a small mark on ankle and missing a little paint between thighs. That is not a crack in her crotch its just a darker line where the paint has worn off. Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Blue Dress 1950s? Some condition issues – neck, left shoulder, left leg, hair. Clothing issues as well. Hair is glued and it looks like the glue has melted into hair. Her head tilts back when you pick her up. Also dark marks on neck. Split starting on left leg. Left shoulder plastic/rubber coming away from arm. Dress has some stains, underskirt is held on with safety pin. Please review description and pictures before purchasing. 1954 Madame Alexander Kins SLW doll in tagged Blue Danube # 351. She wear a tagged dress 1954 Blue Danube dress #351. She is signed ALEX on the back. She has a triple stitch hair. She is made of hard plastic. Beautiful Blue/Green color eyes? Approximate measurements are 7.5 tall. She comes to you as you see in the photos, but she may need a little love. I didn’t notice any major problems on the dress like holes or rips but over the years the color may have little faded and some stains are present, I believe that could go away by washing it lightly. The elastic sleeves is not stretched and is still perfect. The doll is in near mint condition but I noticed a little red on the back. I have not try to cleaned but for a vintage doll doesn’t show much but I wanted to let you know everything I have noticed. The dress is still crisp and looks like it has never been washed. I’m not the original owner or a professional collector but. In my opinion she is still in lovely condition. Please check all my photos or ask any questions before you purchasing. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Clothing/Accessories. Rare Blue Gingham Dress – Tagged. This is a 1958 rare and hard-to-find blue checkered cotton gingham apron-front dress for the 20 Cissy that was produced as a boxed extra. A wide Val lace forms the apron-front design, and the sash comes from the darts, creating an illusion of an apron. The same trim is used on armholes. A similar design is seen on the 1957 aqua shirtwaist. The dress ties in back and has front center bust darts. This is in excellent mint condition, with no spots, rips, or stains. Cissy doll is not included. IMPORTANT: Besides the noteworthy issues mentioned above, EXPECT any vintage dolls and clothes/accessories to have normal signs of age. This lovely vintage doll is in very good condition with only wear to her hat that would need an expert to restore properly. Some of the little blue flowers on the top of the hat have fallen off, but are included. Her hair also needs to be properly styled. She has sleep eyes and I think all her clothes are original… Her dress, slip, panties, stockings, and high heel shoes. Her shoes are strappy, and I have no idea how to properly put them on, so I hope you can get the idea. She is hard plastic, but her arms feel more like a rubber covering over hard plastic. Her knees bend as shown, and she measures 19 1/2. Please look closely at my photos for details.
