Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Clothing/Accessories. Rare Blue Gingham Dress – Tagged. This is a 1958 rare and hard-to-find blue checkered cotton gingham apron-front dress for the 20 Cissy that was produced as a boxed extra. A wide Val lace forms the apron-front design, and the sash comes from the darts, creating an illusion of an apron. The same trim is used on armholes. A similar design is seen on the 1957 aqua shirtwaist. The dress ties in back and has front center bust darts. This is in excellent mint condition, with no spots, rips, or stains. Cissy doll is not included. IMPORTANT: Besides the noteworthy issues mentioned above, EXPECT any vintage dolls and clothes/accessories to have normal signs of age. Doll bodies may have minor scuffs or fading/spots to the body, minor loss of hair (wig, lashes), etc. And clothing/accessories may need a touch-up or needle and thread here and there. This lovely vintage doll is in very good condition with only wear to her hat that would need an expert to restore properly. Some of the little blue flowers on the top of the hat have fallen off, but are included. Her hair also needs to be properly styled. She has sleep eyes and I think all her clothes are original… Her dress, slip, panties, stockings, and high heel shoes. Her shoes are strappy, and I have no idea how to properly put them on, so I hope you can get the idea. She is hard plastic, but her arms feel more like a rubber covering over hard plastic. Her knees bend as shown, and she measures 19 1/2. Please look closely at my photos for details. RARE – OUTSTANDING MADAME ALEXANDER – “McGUFFEY ANA”. VINTAGE COMPOSITION. Circa: 1935 – 1937 – - In Blue Swiss Dot. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. WoW – RARE doll in RARE original outfit. This McGuffey Ana is all original. Imagine, she is about 85 years old! For price reference see page # 19 – 20 in the book,’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. This girl is 23 inches tall. She is seldom seen. And to think that she is all original. It is obvious that she was never a play doll. She has no repainting and little to none crazing as examined by a black light. She wears an underskirt/panties: a pale blue swiss dot dress with rick rack and lace; a silk vest with matching bonnet and purse; white leather boots and cotton socks. Her original wig has two pig tails with pale blue ribbons. Her silk bonnet and parts of her silk vest and silk purse are melting because of age. I have not undressed her so that I would not tear any of the silk clothes. Her fingers are in excellent condition. Her brown eyes are excellent. And her facial painting is excellent. 20 Cissy Doll 1958 (Doll Only). I found her wearing her Flowery painted gown and hat (they are in separate listings). Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Brunette hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged aqua blue cotton dress with lace trim. Woven hat with flocked flowers and veil. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with pearl embellished drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, it is aqua-blue cotton with a full circle skirt, buttons in the front, trimmed with lace. She has a taffeta slip with net flounce and aqua-blue panties with lace trim, matching satin high heel pumps. Her hat is fabulous, woven cream color with wide shaped brim, it has a matching woven blue bow on top, covered with fine veil around the front.
