She is all original. Her hair is in the original set, she has great facial color, beautiful clear blue eyes with full lashes. There is no crazing and she even maintains the blush on he knees. She is wearing a lovely taffeta gown, adorned with pink velvet bows and ruffle trim at the bottom. The skirt of the gown has an attached slip She wears satin underpants, rayon socks and shoes. She has a flower headpiece on her head and holds a ruffled muff with roses attached. I have included several pictures to show the condition. Please enlarge them for the best view. Vintage 1940′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Bridesmaid Doll. I believe she has the Wendy Ann face. This Bridesmaid is in very nice condition. She once had a crack on the side of her head (by her ears), but it has been professionally repaired and you cannot even tell it has ever been repaired that is how well it was done. The top layer of paint on her right leg has some deep crazing (shown) this is not a crack, just crazing of the top layer of paint. She is truly an exceptional doll. She has beautiful face color with bright blue eyes! She has very, very faint craze lines on her face. Her all original outfit is tagged Madame Alexander. Her dress appears to be very nice with no damage or stains, it has a few tiny pin size holes along the bottom, not noticeable unless searching for them. Her hair is in very nice condition with matching flowers. Overall, she is just lovely and even more stunning in person. F rom an Odor Free home. ALL ORIGINAL -EXCEPT SANDALS. 1959 ELSIE BRIDESMAID # 1830 Tagged ELISE on underside of crinoline. Hair is dark blond, in original set, blue eyes, coloring beautiful. She is jointed at elbows, ankles, and knees. She wears ear rings that are pearl drop. She is dressed in a beautiful full-length gown of fine pleated tulle. Sleeves are flared with the matching tulle with spray. Of 2 apple blossoms at the shoulders that continue to the wide blue satin ribbon at waist, which ties in back She wears. An oversized blue hat trimmed with the same apple blossoms at crown. Slip is made of bridal crinoline. With 2 inch ruffle of net. Blue taffeta panties , and blue seamed hose. Shoes are a replacement of silver elastic like the original ones – otherwise all else is completely original. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE. I’ll do my best to answer. My mother owned a vintage and collectibles doll store when I was a little girl. This is part of her wonderful personal collection that she and I are liquidating together. With pink roses in her luxurious Brown hair and bouquet, and a movie star beautiful Margaret face, this stunning Princess Margaret Rose is a knockout in this 14 size. The gown, fashioned from yards of the finest silk organza, is the most beautiful shade of deep pink with a Madame Alexander tag attached. Trimmed with a silver braid at the hem. Delicate jewelry includes a refined beaded necklace and crystal drop at the center of the sweetheart neckline. A clover wrist tag is included. The golden era of the Alexander Doll Company was in full swing at this point in time. The company was working on all cylinders and had recently moved to their new factory building in Harlem. Department stores and retailers vied with each other for exclusives that they could claim as their own. This might help explain some of the rare and difficult to find color combinations dolls like this occasionally show up. This gorgeous doll was obviously an exclusive from a department store because this is the original box she came in. I have never seen a Bridesmaid doll in a traditional blue Madame Alexander box, and this is the reason. The woman I received this doll from was the original owner of her. She never played with her and for that, Princess Margaret looks like she was kept in a time machine! Her dress is still crisp! As is the elastic on her panties and her stockings are still tight! NOTHING is faded or rotted. Her coloring is SUPERB, as is everything else about her!! Every detail was thought of with this beauty… Even a hand sewn pearl bead in one of her curls. This is a far from mint 1959 Madame Alexander Blue Pleated Bridesmaid Elise doll. She wears her original gown. There are five areas in the skirt section of the gown that have some tears as seen in the photos. Beneath the gown she wears her original tagged half slip. It is very wrinkled and needs to be pressed. She also wears a seamstress made blue chiffon half slip for fullness and to enhance the blue color of the gown. She has no stockings or shoes. There are two seam splits on the doll’s knee areas as shown in one of the photos. Some of the beads on the pearl necklace and the earrings have lost their finish. The metal on the jewelry is tarnished. Elise’s face has been fully repainted. Not well done but it does give her a bright color. One of the photos shows a good closeup on the repaint so you can see it well. Her best features are her lovely brunette wig and very pretty bright blue eyes. Please look at all the photos carefully as they are part of the description. CONS: Not a mint doll. Some necklace beads and earrings have lost their pearl finish. Some tarnish on jewelry metal. No stockings or shoes. Five spots of torn pleated organza on gown. Wrinkled underslip, needs to be ironed. Added blue chiffon half slip. Replaced flowers on bodice. Two seam splits on knee areas. Wendy is a bend knee walker with a triple stitch red wig that has been on display. Her make up and face coloring are beautiful. The dress is organdy embroidered with rosebuds. There is a pink velvet sash attached at the waist that could be pressed. The dress is trimmed with lace on the sleeves, neck and skirt. It is in great shape, however yellowed with age. The straw hat has a black velvet ribbon hat band, also in great shape. The matching Bouquet and flowers in the hat are different then pictures I have seen. The flowers are smaller. The shoes look to be in just OK shape. One bow only has a loop in one side and there bottoms are not as fuzzy as the shoes I have on a bride in another listing. She does not stand on her own. A fellow Ebayer asked if the lashes have been retouched. I do not know. Her eyelashes compared to other Alexander Kins is darker.
