She has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, and rosy cheeks. She has a gorgeous brunette wig in original set. She wears her original chemise, vintage stockings, and vintage boudoir shoes. There are no leg splits or cracks to the knees or hips. She does have a thin separation in the crotch shown in the last photo. Her chemise is not tagged and not in mint condition. There are a few small holes in the lace shown in the photos, but all of the rhinestone and felt flower accents and snaps are present and intact. Ponytail Cissy is Ready to Spend an Evening with Friends. Cissy is dressed for a sophisticated evening soirée with friends wearing her original rose and black v-neck toreador set. Although not tagged, guaranteed to be original. The fashionable three-piece outfit includes the chantilly lace v-neck top that closes with three buttons in back; her black velvet pants with gold elastic waistband; and ombré pink waist sash that closes at the side with a square snap. There is a small light stain on the sash that I have shown in one of the photos, and a very tiny tear in the lining of the lace top. Complementing her outfit are black strappy high heels and clear rhinestone circle earrings. Her look is complete with sheer nude stockings and panties underneath. Cissy has the rare ponytail hairstyle, and her hair is also in the elusive brunette color. She is well strung. Her head does have the ability to slightly bob if she is shaken hard but it poses very well. She has an expertly repaired seam split at the hip and outer knee of her left leg. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is wearing a gorgeous reproduction of the taffeta gown with the side drape, made in 1956. It is well made and follows Alexander’s design to the T. It is made of a medium weight taffeta in cornflower blue. Underneath she wears a long nylon taffeta slip with stiff tulle. Matching panties long, tight nylon stockings and silver strap high heel Cissy shoes, complete her outfit. She is shown with a long white faux fur stole that has a cluster of vintage roses and is lined in white satin and embroidered C. I also show her with a white feather fan tied in blue ribbon. Her only jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and glued on rhinestone dots for earrings. She has no holes in her ears. She has a very dark brunette wig, pulled back on both sides into a tight cluster at her neck. Vintage 20 Madame Alexander CISSY Doll Brunette Nude TLC. Here is a vintage Madame Alexander cissy doll in need of TLC. She has cracks in her legs above the knee joint. She also has some cracking up at the hip. She has scratches on her body as you can see in the photos. Shes missing eyelashes on one eye. Also listen its like a chip to the glass eye on one side. Her eyes are a very strange brownish blue color. Im not sure if they were meant to be that way or if theyve changed over time. Her hair is also a mess as you can see. For your consideration is a beautiful Vintage Madame Alexander. Cissy wearing the rare boxed extra Daisy Dress from 1955. The last 2 pictures are taken from. Shaw states in her second book. The Daisy Dress pictured is on everyone’s bucket list… Including the author’s! I’ve had this dress for many years – it came to me in a trunk with a Cissy and many beautiful clothes. I would not have known it was a Madame Alexander except for the tag. I surely did not know that it was rare until Ms. Shaw published her books – many thanks to her for these excellent resources. This dress still has the original flower corsage stapled to the bodice!! It has been carefully washed once due to yellowing from age and storage, but. Retains the beautiful body and sheen of polished cotton. The fabric is in excellent shape, including the gauze sleeves. Her dark brown hair appears to be in the original setting – I added dark pink vintage flowers for accent. Are blue with fairly full lashes which. Open and close as they should. Her eyes seem to be. A bit off set. I think this could be fixed; however, this is not something I wanted to try. Her original owner said she had been repaired in the past and possibly this occurred during or prior to that repair. Her complexion is beautiful and I do not know if she was repainted with the mentioned repair. Her stringing is very good. Otherwise, she is a lovely doll and would be an excellent addition to your collection. And gloves are Madame Alexander. One shoe has petals missing from the flower. I’m including 2 similar roses if you want to repair or replace it (see pictures 3 and 4 by hatbox). I’m unsure about stockings and ring, although ring is vintage. Her slip and panties are vintage, but not made by Alexander. The hatbox is a reproduction. I try to describe as accurately as possible but may leave. Something out please look at the pictures carefully. As they are the most important part of the description. Remember, this is a vintage doll over 50 plus years old. As a new doll would. I will be listing a few more Cissy’s hopefully by December, as well as other Madame Alexander, Arranbee, and others from my collection after Christmas, so please check back. The doll stand is not included. My home is smoke free I do have a dog, but she is not allowed to play with my dolls:. Some weeks it may vary slightly depending on my schedule, however I do try. Up for sale is a Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. This Stunning Cissy is one of the Most Beautiful Brunettes I have seen in a long time. She is All Original and is in Pristine Condition. Cissy is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with vinyl sleeved arms and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has exceptional crystal blue eyes with full lashes, perfect high color rosy cheeks, red lips and blushed hands and knees. She has no cracks or splits and no signs of play-wear. She is an Exquisite All Original Girl dressed in an Absolutely Stunning Creation by the Extraordinary Recreations by Ann. Tea-length dress sewn in a soft embroidered lavender with a scalloped hem, bodice is lined in lavender taffeta and white organdy and closes in the back with 4 square snaps. Lavender rhinestones sprinkle down the front of the bodice and the front of the full skirt.
