Madame alexander cissy Original Blue Camellia Dress And Hat. This is the original light version dress. It is tagged with lace at the end of the sleeves. No rips or tears, but some color run probably due to washing. A pink stain near the hem and some rust stains on the back. Hat is in good condition. Madame Alexander Cissy 21. Her eyes are blue but are changing. She has great color. Flowers in her hair in ok shape. Remember they were made in the 1950s. Her grey stole is original to her as well as the dress. The elastic that the right side slips through on the back is still there and usuable. She has a marking of a darker color on the back of her dress back. There are 4 1 markings of darker pink and are very light in color. Really you can barely see them unless you are looking for them. No hose and no shoes. Has her ballgown slip in place and has crinoline and lace around the bottom. Her underwear are pinned closed. The lace on the bottom of the slip comes out from under the dress a little and shows. Which I believe is the way it is supposed to be. This doll is dressed as the doll in the book The Cissy Files. Her box is not her original box but one I had on hand. I wanted her to be very protected. I will pack her very well for her trip to her new family. I meant to write that there was a darker PINK color on the back of her dress that you can barely see. The darker color I mentioned is a straight 1/16 thin line that runs down the back about 4. She has no cracks on legs, where the knee bends on either side. She has no crack on her crotch-front to back. She is completely sound as if just coming off the assembly line. Stunning Vintage Cissy Doll dressed in a gown of yellow slipper satin, and affectionately known as “Yellow-Topaz” by collectors. She has gorgeous coloring and is an early painted doll with a Yardley styled auburn wig that looks lovely with the yellow satin gown. She has nice even color throughout. The arms and head were restrung, and the body has NO splits or cracks. She has been reblushed, and is a truly. Lovely doll with skin tone that compliments her red wig nicely. There is no yellowing to original sealant. Her lips were re-glossed as well. Her blush was resealed, and she has the original velvet patina on her forehead. Her eyes are blue-green. She has all original lashes, and eyebrows. Her eye-shadow was enhanced to even it out, so that both eyes match. She has her beautiful auburn wig with original hair ties and spanner bar, and it is in the original set. The lower curls at the nape of her neck were retied. Her hair is long and full, and has many generous curls. She has her original hooped slip with restitched elastic. She has her original tulle muff with the original floral spray. She has her original necklace, and the silver trim was reinforced where it was fraying from age. The earrings are replacements made from pieces of the originals that were disintegrating. She has her original gold heels with the original elastic. This is a beautiful gown with lots of fabric that displays beautifully. It does have some lighter colored shadow spots, probably from steam or water at some time. There is an age spot on the lower front of the gown, which I have pictured. The gown is tagged and has all the original snaps. The doll is from a smoke-free environment. The doll is free of smoke smells, or other odors. There is no doll stand included. Gorgeous Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy is wearing her Very Hard To Find hand-painted tulle Fragile and Flowery gown from 1958. Cissy has beautiful brunette hair with full bangs, and her spanner bar. She has lovely blue eyes and nice coloring. The doll is in excellent vintage condition. Her head is slightly wobbly, but still displays fine. The gown has the fabric flowers and rhinestones throughout, and displays beautifully. I do need to mention that the gown had a few tears in the tulle in the back, which were repaired using Fabri-Tac Fabric glue. (not by me) There are also a few holes, and a cutout in the tulle at the bottom. I have added pics to show the places, and they are all in the back of the gown, and are only noticeable on close inspection. Cissy wears her lovely horsehair hat with large pink flowers, includes her slip, stockings, white gauntlets, and “diamond” ring. Cissy will need silver heels, as the elastic was stretched out on hers. The doll is free of smoke smells, or other odors. There is no doll stand included. I feel that the doll is at a very reasonable price. If the gown was in excellent condition, the doll would be listed for a much higher price. I will consider fair and reasonable offers.
