DOLL IN BOOK IS WEARING A DIFFERENT HAT, AS STATED. THIS DOLL IS A BEAUTIFUL BLOND WITH A UNIQUE HAIRDO(PIC), CURLS PULLED ON TOP WITH A BLACK VELVET BOW. OUTFIT CONSISTS OF A PINK TAFFETA DRESS, TAGGEDALEXANDERKIN BY MADAME ALEXANDER (PICTURE), PINK TAFFETA AND LACE TRIM PANTIES, WHITE SOCKS AND BLACK SUEDE SIDE BUTTON SHOES. I DO NOT SEE A TAG ON THE COAT, AND I HAVE NEVER REMOVED THE COAT/CLOTHING. IT IS A DARK PURPLE VELVET WITH WHITE TAFFETA LINING, LARGER ROUND COLLAR, THREE PEARLY WHITE BUTTONS WITH PURPLE THREAD. THE HAT IS A LIGHT LAVENDER STRAW WITH MULTI COLOR PURPLE/LAVENDER FLOWERS, GOLD CHIN STRAP. ON THE BACK OF THE HAT THERE ARE TWO PLEATS TO GIVE IT A MORE SQUARE LOOK. IT IS REALLY UNIQUE AND SPECIAL ALEXANDER HAT. ALL CLOTHING IS IN EXCELLENT , CRISP, CLEAN CONDITION. TO MY EYE IT IS MINTY, WELL PRESERVED FOR 60+ YEARS. THE ALEXANDER BOX IS THE ONE SHE CAME WITH, ALTHOUGH, NOT CERTAIN IT IS “HER” ORIGINAL? BOXES WITH INCORRECT LABEL WERE USED FOR DOLLS ON OCCASION. For your consideration, a Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 1957 #371 Car Coat, 8 Bend Knee Walker. Her seven piece hard plastic body is in very good condition. Walker walks as it should. Sleep eyes work as they should. She is wears a one piece red bodysuit with which closes with two square snaps. Blue denim pants and a lined and tagged car coat. One her head she wears a matching hat. White socks and red fuzzy bottom velvety shoes with side snaps. Her clothing doesn’t appear to have been wash, as it shows some aging. I tried to capture it in the photos. It is however in very good condition. No rips or heavy stains, tears etc. Please take a look at all of the pictures as they are part of the description. I’m the original owner and was allowed only to take her out from time to time and look at her. She has all of her original clothes down to her ruffled panties which I didn’t photo to protect her modesty… Her seamed stockings are perfect with no snags or runs. She is wearing said panties, stockings, slip, blouse, coat, hat and red wedge sandals. As you would expect at the age of 60+ her elastic isn’t so elastic anymore mine either! I had her joints repaired some years back so she is currently intact. Not sure if she is Lissy or Cissy. This is another wonderful estate found, vintage Madame Alexander. She is an absolutely gorgeous, 16 ELISE doll. She is wearing the rare, htf, tagged, JUNIOR LEAGUE ensemble. Dolls hair is still in the hairnet! She also has on her nylons, slip, undies, and shoes, but 1 is missing a little pearl on strap. It comes out of the estate of a long time elderly doll collector who has decided to part with alot of her collection. The set is free of stains rips or tears. Original Tagged Coat , With 1 Snap Closure on top , Lavender Ribbon has been added to match her Dress. Black Cloth Shoes with a Clear Plastic Heel, shoes have frayed edges on top. The Doll Itself Is in an Excellent Condition , for a Vintage Doll , with a few stray hairs , Saran Type hair , appears as though she was never played with Much if at all. A small amount of soiling on clothes. Original Panty Hose , Left Leg is Soiled. Yellow spotting on Coat around the collar area , Lavender ribbon was added to jacket , to match Original Tagged dress. Shoes have a little Frayed edges on the tops. Also Included is her Round fur hat approx 5 across with Lavender flowers on top , Hat Needs to be cleaned and no longer retains it’s elasticity. This beautiful 20 Cissy was played with very gently and has been in storage for a few decades. She is wearing her original blue taffeta dress with matching white taffeta coat.
