Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Clothing/Accessories. Rare Blue Gingham Dress – Tagged. This is a 1958 rare and hard-to-find blue checkered cotton gingham apron-front dress for the 20 Cissy that was produced as a boxed extra. A wide Val lace forms the apron-front design, and the sash comes from the darts, creating an illusion of an apron. The same trim is used on armholes. A similar design is seen on the 1957 aqua shirtwaist. The dress ties in back and has front center bust darts. This is in excellent mint condition, with no spots, rips, or stains. Cissy doll is not included. IMPORTANT: Besides the noteworthy issues mentioned above, EXPECT any vintage dolls and clothes/accessories to have normal signs of age. Doll bodies may have minor scuffs or fading/spots to the body, minor loss of hair (wig, lashes), etc. And clothing/accessories may need a touch-up or needle and thread here and there. Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette as Queen Elizabeth Doll. She is wearing a tagged gold brocade gown and a blue ribbon across her upper body with few decorative elements and couple of rhinestones. Yellow half slip with lace trim underneath. No shoes, tiara, or any other accessories that this doll might have had. The dress has some brown spots caused by deteriation of the metal clasps, but they are not on the visible surface, hidden underneath. Some age-related browning to the brocade on the back, and a little hole to the lining. There is also a browning spotting on the blue ribbon, seems like it is caused by metal decor touching the fabric. The doll itself in in good vintage condition with no damage, and sleepy eyes work well. Signed Mme Alexander on her upper back. Please see all the photos for details. Vintage Composition Madame Alexander Baby Pinky Doll Original Dress. Darling, Madame Alexander Baby Pinky composition and cloth baby doll in her original outfit of a pale pink, long sleeve dress, full slip, one piece cotton undergarments, and nylon socks. Baby has sleepy hazel eyes, fevered cheeks and a red rosebud mouth. She measures 16 and was produced in 1936. Pinky is free from crazing, chips, cracks or repairs. Her cloth body has no holes, tears or repairs. Although it does have normal, age related darkening to the fabric. She has no odors, and her clothes have been gently hand laundered and pressed. This lovely vintage doll is in very good condition with only wear to her hat that would need an expert to restore properly. Some of the little blue flowers on the top of the hat have fallen off, but are included. Her hair also needs to be properly styled. She has sleep eyes and I think all her clothes are original… Her dress, slip, panties, stockings, and high heel shoes. Her shoes are strappy, and I have no idea how to properly put them on, so I hope you can get the idea. She is hard plastic, but her arms feel more like a rubber covering over hard plastic. Her knees bend as shown, and she measures 19 1/2. Please look closely at my photos for details. Vintage 1961 Caroline Kennedy Doll By Madame Alexander In Original Tagged Dress. This little beauty was made in 1961 by Madame Alexander. She features short blonde hair which is curled under, green sleepy eyes with lashes, multistroke brows, painted lower lashes, rosy cheeks with dimples and an open mouth with a tongue. She stands and balances independently. She has all of her fingers on both hands. She has no marks or blemishes. The only flaw she has is a lazy right right that doesnt want to stay all the way open. Otherwise, her eyes open and close as they should. She is dressed in her original tagged dress with bow straps. Dress is in excellent condition with no tears or stains. Underneath she is wearing white panties, socks and shoes. Doll is marked ALEXANDER 1961 on her head. 20 Cissy Madame Alexander W/Tagged Yellow Taffeta Floral Dress- 1950s. Does have a vintage odor on doll clothing- this doll is over 60 yrs old so an odor should be expected. Wig is the glue on wig- still has spanner bar across top of head. I do believe her earrings have been broke off(the part that hangs down). Have not tried to remove any marks on the doll. Vintage 1930′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann doll. Original mohair wig, in original style with finger waves. Original real fur hat and muff. Original oilcloth shoes and rayon socks. Original linen slip and patties, plus net petticoat. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Wendy Ann doll. She has an all composition jointed, strung body. She has the original light brown mohair wig in finger waves with a spit curl at the front. Sparkling blue sleep eyes that open and close with original hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, red bow mouth. The strings are good and she holds a pose well. The composition is good with minor. The legs have flaws, she has been sealed to help prevent crazing typical to this old composition. The doll is marked on the back of the head; MME Alexander. She is wearing her original tagged pink taffeta dress with sprays of cloth flowers on the skirt and sequin trim at the waist. The dress is in lovely condition, nice body, clean, sturdy, no tears, a few very faint shadows and a light water mark on the back of one sleeve, nothing. She has a white linen petticoat with pink trim and. Matching panties, plus a net tulle slip. The hat is original, genuine rabbit fur, it has the elastic strap attached, trimmed with pink flocked flowers and rayon ribbon, matching muff with pink strap. The rare dress is tagged Elise See picture SUPER RARE SUPER RARE. THANK YOU TO ANNA HAWKINS FOR ALLOWING ME TO SHARE HER BEAUTIFUL DOLLS (see third pic). Madame Alexander Elise dress from 1958. The dress is a shirtwaist style in a sheer shell pink embossed fabric and is in excellent condition. It is pictured on page #61 of the Elise Files. The third picture shows that this dress matches the Cissy dress #2231 that sells for a very huge price. How perfect to have her sister wearing the matching dress. This is very hard to find and just as beautiful as the dress Cissy wears. The only difference I can see are the buttons. They are white buttons rather than rhinestones. Otherwise they look identical. This comes with a crisp lace slip to give the dress a nice full look. This is for the DRESS AND SLIP only for Elise Not Cissy. No odors Just might need a little ironing. No hat but easy to replace.
