Comes on stand in original box. She has 3 tiny light spots at hem on back base of skirt. She has a pin hole on bottom of one hose. The heels on her shoes were just glued. We use jewelers glue. She is in one piece all other Colors are bright. Pet smoke free home, she has a stand. We have found UPS ground to be the most economical. The dress is from the 1956 product line and is pictured on page 48 of The Cissy Files. The dress has no odors. The taffeta is crisp and displays wonderfully. The Cissy tag has been cut from the back neckline and still has the cut end tab that you can see through the lining of the bodice. This is an excellent dress that Cissy would look beautiful wearing. Beautiful African American Leslie doll from Madame Alexander. Leslie stands 18 tall and has dark brown hair and brown (almost orange) sleep eyes with lashes. She wears a beautiful light blue tulle gown and has a matching bow in her hair. She has pierced ears with earrings and a pearl necklace. Her undergarments consist of blue underwear and stockings. She has her high heel shoes. Marked Alexander Doll Co. 1965 on the back of the head. This doll is 57 years old and is in good condition. Her blue dress does have some wear and rumpling to it. There is wear to the surface of her earrings. Her elaborate hairdo is fairly intact, though there are stray wisps of hair here and there. This is a very sweet Madame Alexander kin Wendy Kin difficult to find ORIGINAL early organdy MAYPOLE OUTFIT ONLY (no doll) that includes the dress, apron and added underpants, with more current black smooth bottom shoes and socks. The outfit has faded to a light pink dress with light blue apron but is in crisp and clean condition. There is one tiny pinhole on apron (see photo 8), rubs and paint rubs on apron metal grommets (photo 9), and a tiny edge tear on dress left side (photo 10). The pink ribbon was added to close the apron on waist. The added underpants are also in nice, clean condition with waist line relaxed a little bit. The added more current black velvet side snap smooth bottom shoes and socks are in good condition with some rubs on shoes. As you can see on one of our own dolls, it’s quite a stunning outfit! I could not believe my eyes when I realized she had an Alexander tag on her cute dress. I later discovered, with much research, that she was a 24 Betty. Like many Alexander composition dolls, she is not marked. She has her original human hair wig in its original curls, placed over a slightly molded head. Her eyes work smoothly and I love her pouty mouth. I wonder if Alexander was trying to compete with Patsy as this is the same era! The dress has no major flaws and has matching panties.
