(I have 2 listed) 1961 MADAME ALEXANDER Portrait Jacqueline KENNEDY doll. First Lady to the beloved JFK. A Vintage beauty for sure. Exceptional condition with her original Box! She is not completely mint? No cracks or seam splits. Clear brown eyes with full lashes sleep well. Complete facial features and nice original coloring & eye shadow! Hair is full and rooted in her signature style. She has her original diamond ring, bracelets, pearl necklaces, the purse & earrings! Her gown is tagged. Her outfit consists of the original dress, opera coat, crinoline slip, panties, hose and original high heel shoes. The outfit is completely intact, and there are no seam issues. Hose & shoes are good. There are a couple small spots on the coat. (pictured) She is a beautiful representation of this doll and HTF in almost mint condition like this one. The box lid has been taped and the box is bent some, but intact & labeled for her correctly. A general note about VINTAGE items. You will not be disappointed, as many of these dolls are beautiful collectible treasures! BEAUTIFUL 1953-54 Madame Alexander-kins straight-leg non-walker with dark blonde, tightly rolled triple-stitched wig, blue oval sleep-eyes that open and close easily, molded-lashes eyes with lower painted lashes and rosy cheeks. She has one small dent on her left temple that may have happened during production, but certainly doesn’t detract from her lovely appearance. She is wearing a tagged, crisp, black and red floral-print variation of the “Pinafore Dress” with a red taffeta under-dress and matching lace-trimmed panties, white socks and black side-snap fuzzy shoes with fuzzy bottoms. The pinafore criss-crosses in the back and ties with a bow. There are examples on pg. 21 (1953) and pg. 48 (1955) of The World of Alexander-kins by Patricia Smith. On her head is a beautiful vintage black straw hat with black ribbon trim and red flowers, that seems a perfect compliment to her outfit, but may or may not be original to her outfit. Simply lovely and an exceptional example of a vintage Madame Alexander-kins doll that would make a wonderful addition to your collection! No odors, smoke free environment. Exceptional Vintage 1937 Madame Alexander 17 Jane Withers Composition Doll. An exceptionally clean Jane Withers doll with all original tagged clothing! Her twin sister, a little shorter (16), is listed in a separate listing. This is a vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Jane Withers 17 composition doll. All of her clothing are original. Her pink floral dress retains its original perfect tag and size tag sewn neatly in the seams, appears to have never been washed, and the cotton fabric is still full and crisp. Onesie slip is in the same beautiful clean condition as the dress, unwashed, full fabric, and crisp. And, the matching hat is spotless clean and retains its original form. All in like new condition. Original socks and shoes are also near perfect. One of the decorative metal buckles is missing. Ane also comes with her original gold untarnished script name pin. Jane’s composition is in amazing beautiful condition. No breakage, crazing, stains, or paint flaking. Only has five sharp pencil point surface lines. Actually looks like drawn sharp pencil lines, but cannot be rubber erased. Two by her right eye, two near her mouth, and one on her left leg (please see close-up photos). Nearly unnoticeable in person. Her original sleep eyes have darkened to a deep dark brown, sometimes needs a nudge to open. Jane’s reddish-brown mohair wig is still full and retain all of its original curls. Stringing is good, can easily hold a pose, and displays beautifully. Much nicer in person, photos don’t do justice. Exceptional Vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Jane Withers Composition Doll. An exceptionally clean Jane Withers doll with all original tagged clothing! This is a vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Jane Withers 16 composition doll. All of her clothing are original. Her pink floral dress retains its original perfect tag and size tag sewn neatly in the seams, appears to have never been washed, and the cotton fabric is still full and crisp. Onesie slip is in the same beautiful clean condition as the dress, unwashed, full fabric, and crisp. Remains in like-new condition! Original socks and shoes are also near perfect. The snapped strap on her right shoe has cleanly pulled apart. Jane also comes with her original gold untarnished script name pin. And, almost forgot about her precious little pink hat! The hat is in extremely nice condition. Retains its original elastic chin strap (elastic has eased) and is tucked inside the hat. The hat has a few tiny spots (please see photo), yet is still in excellent condition. This precious little hat seems to always be missing. Jane’s composition is free from breakage, does have some slight crazing and paint flaking. Her original brown sleep eyes are still bright and clear, and her amazing reddish brown mohair wig is still full and retains its original curls. If I hadnt gotten laid off, this doll would not be up for sale… But life goes on. This is a gorgeous redhead Cissy , dressed in the HTF 1956 Black Torso Mermaid evening gown is in very nice condition but NOT mint in my opinion. Her hair is in all original form, blue eyes are turning a little green, full eye lashes, eyes close freely, no smells, smoke or odors She had good color on her paint, cheeks are bare, lips and body color is good.. No splits on the legs or crotch. Dress still has all the original rosettes on the outside and under layer of the dress. Original panties and fitted slip to the knee with flounce tulle to the feet. HTF ORIGINAL shoes, however, elastic is completely stretched out and there are some moth holes in the pink of the shoes. You should be able to see this clearly. Dress is in great shape, but upon examination, I did notice a few areas on the underside that should be refreshed and cleaned. There are some rub marks around her neck, I ran out of space for pics but can send if you want to see them. Clearly, in her 63 years of life, she has been admired from afar and not in played with condition. This dress is in Very Nice shape. I have seen NO issues with this Dress. No rips, tears, stains or odors. Fabric is lightweight and nice. Closes in the back with 4 (four) snaps, no issues with them. Has 5 (five) rhinestones on the front bodice. All are attached well and pretty. Tag is in nice shape. Please look at all the pictures they are a big part of the description.
