Madame Alexander Dolls

She has never been played with or undressed, see her perfect shoe ribbons, hairstyle and flowers, and bright white coloring of her tagged tutu and underslips. She has her original wrist string that held her wrist tag as well. Jointed hard plastic body with perfect blue sleep eyes and high facial coloring with red lips and cheeks, clothing is like new, with original Nina Ballerina Madame Alexander tag. She wears the winter white tutu with silver rickrack trim with flowers at the waist and shoulder and in her hair, pink satin ballet shoes with ribbons that have never been disturbed, and her original bloomers with snap back and attached second net slip. She has her original curls in her bangs and her hairstyle has not been disturbed. Sleep eyes open and close freely, she holds a pose well with her neck and arms. The only flaw I can see is a tiny paint rub on her upper left lip (see pictures), and the shoe ribbons have a tiny bit of fraying on the edge but still retain their factory placement. Her larger underslip also has silver rickrack trim, and her long tutu is factory-pleated and like new. She wears a little string of beads as well. I did not undress her as I don’t want to disturb her perfect outfit. Her original box still retains its Madame Alexander face label and is numbered Style 4015, checked white for color and blonde for hair and blue for eyes. Box has some light discoloration overall and some creasing along a couple of the bottom edges but is quite sturdy and has its original pink tissues inside. This rare near-mint example of this sweet doll would make a wonderful gift for the advanced collector. NO touch-ups, her coloring is completely original! Deep infused cheek color! Full, upper eye lashes with lower, painted lashes that arent faded! Twinkling blue eyes and full luscious lips! Shiny, auburn wig with gold bar across the crown of her head and original! She has white, tight, gauntlet gloves. Her Flowered veil is awesome, fully intact. Her silk bodice is very pretty with intricate, white/silver, looped braiding! Four wide, square snaps closures in the rear with long, pleated silk streamers reaching past the bottom of her gown! Her gown and veil could a cleaning (dingie). Shes truly a vision in her two layers of white tulle. Underneath first two layers, theres a 3rd layer of white organdy. Underneath that theres a 4th layer of crisp, white taffeta (Within the side-seam of this layer its brightly, tagged “Cissy” Madame Alexander). Wonderful silk panties trimmed in Belgium Val Lace. Pristine, wide elastic hosiery with sexy seams in the rear! She also has silver high heel shoes, wedding ring and garter. She is missing one half of one earring. 20 Inch/50.8 CM in height. Soft, vinyl arms (jointed at elbows). Hard-plastic legs (jointed at knees). No visible cracks or open seams. Gorgeous vintage Madame Alexander 18″ all hard plastic “Flower Girl doll in all original outfit. She is a hardly seen, rare special edition from 1954. She is marked “Alexander” on the back of the head. Her strawberry blond wig is glued on, and I believe that makes her a “Winnie Walker” doll with a Cissy face. Her head turns side to side when you move her legs, and she is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Her stringing is tight and the walking mechanism works well. There are no split seams or cracks, and all fingers and toes are intact. She is wearing her original tulle over taffeta lace trimmed gown with matching bloomers, tulle hoop slip, silky socks and original satin shoes with center snaps. The outfit is in very nice condition with no rips, holes or stains, but the hoop on the slip is a bit out of round. The doll and clothing are clean. Her face is exceptionally pretty with good color, and sleep eyes work fine. There is a tiny nick on the tip of her nose, but other than that, no damage to speak of. She comes in her original tagged dress along with her original shoes and socks. Kathy’s face paint is beautiful, and her complexion is free of flaws. Her eyebrows are clearly defined, her eyelashes are good, and her eyes open and close although a bit sluggish. Her wig is in tact with the exception of the back of her neck where it looks like she may have originally had a hat attached?? She has one original bow on her pigtail. Her body is in great shape, but her stringing is a bit loose. Kathy’s tagged dress is in great shape. It has three snaps up the back, all intact. The sleeve elastic is stretched, but they remain puffed and display well. Her slip and underpants are not included. The tag at the top of the back neckline reads “Kathy” Madame Alexander New York USA. Her shoes and socks are in great condition.
