1950 MADAME ALEXANDER 21 MARGARET FACE BABS SKATER DOLL. SHE IS MARKED “ALEXANDER” ON BACK OF HEAD UNDER WIG. SHE ALSO HAS HER ORIGINAL SHAMROCK SHAPED WRIST TAG. SHE IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. SHE HAS THE GORGEOUS MARGARET FACE WITH A BLONDE WIG, BLUE GLASS SLEEP EYES WITH FULL UPPER LASHES, A CLOSED MOUTH AND BLUSHING CHEEKS. HER FACIAL COLORING IS EXCELLENT. SHE IS JOINTED AT NECK, SHOULDER AND HIP. THE STRINGING IS SLIGHTLY LOOSE, BUT SHE CAN STILL HOLD A POSE. THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR SPLIT SEAMS AND ALL OF HER FINGERS AND TOES ARE INTACT. SHE WEARS HER ORIGINAL TAGGED “BABS SKATING” YELLOW SATIN DRESS WHICH HAS FLOWERS AT WAIST, GOLD BRAID TRIM AT NECKLINE AND FUR TRIM AT ARM HOLES AND HEM. SHE ALSO HAS HER MATCHING FUR TRIMMED HAT WITH FLOWERS, A ONE PIECE YELLOW NYLON PETTICOAT/UNDERPANTS AND ICE SKATES. THE OUTFIT IS IN NEAR MINT CONDITION, I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO UNDRESS HER. Thank you for looking! Beautiful original face coloring with lovely complexion, rosy cheeks and bright red lips. Pretty reddish-brown hair in the original set. She has on her original clothing. Her dress has long sleeves that are separate from the dress, but are connected to the dress by elastic. She is a strung doll and is about 14.5 tall. Pretty hair is in its original set, but there is some uneven coloring. All whites of dress and flowers have browned with age. As you can see her dress has many scattered brown age spots. No tag on dress. When I hold her close and smell her, there is a light odor. I have not noticed it when displayed. On a scale of 0-10 with 0 being no odor and 10 being a disgusting odor, I would rate her a 1-2. She has some scattered brown spots on her body that may or may not clean? I have not tried cleaning her. Please view all photos carefully. Use the photos to help determine the condition. Here is a doll I just acquired at an estate. I think it is the Cissy doll… Because it looks like one and the undergarment she is wearing has the Cissy tag. The other clothes she has on are not marked. Her body and head appear to be a hard plastic.. Her arms tho are a softer rubber type of material. Her hair doesn’t look to be combed.. I will try to be precise with any questions.. There is a mark which I never tried to remove off the back of one calve.. You can see it in the pics.. She has a pearl ring on her finger as well. Madame Alexander Arlene Dahl Doll. I’m not sure if she’s unmarked, or if her markings are. Hidden under her wig. She’s in rough shape. She’s not broken but she has various marks on her body and face. I have not tried to clean her, other than wiping her off, gently, with a damp washcloth. Her eyes still function. Her hair is in the original style, however she has what appears to be moth chews on her wig. She has discoloration on one ear, the other ear has her original earring, which is tarnished. The outer layer of her dress is sun faded. It also has moth chews, the lining seems to be disintegrating, the snaps are all intact but are loose and there are loose threads along the back of the bodice. The under layer is in better condition. Also included is a slip/underwear combo which is probably discolored from age but is free of holes. Her shoes show wear, her stockings have a few small holes not visible when she’s dressed. She’s looking for a home that can help her get back to the beauty that she was. Items pictured are the exact items you will receive. We are a smoke free home. Here, I have a great 1955 vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is a perfect doll for a new collector, because she doesn’t come with the problems a lot of dolls at a reasonable price have. Like: dirty, wobbly head, missing lashes, cracks, crotch splits, missing hair, bad odors, tears in the vinyl arms, nose rubs, moldy eyes, face or body… This doll doesn’t have ANY of these things, so you can dress her, display her, and enjoy her! She is in really nice shape with a near perfect body with no cracks, or splits at all. Very nicely strung, and not wobbly. Cissy came to me with her hair pulled up in the ponytail. I have neatened it up a bit and added flowers. (can be removed they are pinned in with a bobby pin). Though this isn’t a true ponytail Cissy, she is still a great doll. Add ribbons to her ponytail to match outfits you dress her in. Couldn’t be more fun! She has blue green sleep eyes with all of her eyelashes, red lips, and very nicely painted features. She will come wearing this black seamstress made lace teddy, and mommy made pearls on her neck and wrist. A played with Cissy doll, but a nicely played with one. 1951 MADAME ALEXANDER 14 MAGGIE FACE ALICE IN WONDERLAND DOLLWITH BOXWOW! This is a beautiful vintage 1951 Madame Alexander 14 Maggie Face Alice in Wonderland doll! The Maggie Face Hard Plastic 14 Alice In Wonderland Doll appeared in the FAO Schwarz cagtalogue in 1951. The doll is 14 tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. She has beautiful rosy cheeks and bright red lips. She is wearing a tagged pale blue taffeta like dress with a white apron with lace trim, white panties and half slip with eyelet trim, hose and black maryjane shoes. This doll also comes with the Madame Alexander Comb and curlers in a pink box tied to her wrist. Her apron has slightly darkened from age and could use sprucing up. Her hair is in her original set with her original blue ribbon bow, but her hair appears to be matted in the back from laying in the box for years. Alice in Wonderland comes in an original Madame Alexander Vintage box, but I think it’s the wrong box. The box has the style number of 1586 T with brown eyes marked. The lid has a torn end, some writing on the end of the box, and the box has years of shelf dust. The label has the Madame Alexander Gold Fashion Academy Award.
