Scarlett is wearing a tagged dress with printed yellow flowers and orange trim, slip, pantaloons, socks, fuzzy sole shoes, and a straw hat. Beautiful doll from a longtime collector’s collection. She is a do not miss! Gown is a print variation. Great doll for your collection!! Doll is in overall very good condition. Costume is overall good but the panties have some age spots from time. Arm has an indention pictured. Clean, odor free, smoke free home.

It is in very nice condition. There are no holes that I could find. The skirt is very nice. The bodice has some staining at the shoulder area – mostly on the back. The organdy sleeves are good, but perhaps not as white as they could be. The elastic is still good enough to fit her arms snuggly. The flowers are still intact at the shoulder – maybe a little droopy. Pretty velvet ribbon sash is very nice. These are vintage items – over 60 years old. They will not be perfect and some minor imperfections are to be expected. I have tried to describe any issues I see. If something is important to you, please ask. This is a beautiful Cissy wearing the yellow floral taffeta dress. She is not without problems. Her body has red stains on her leg and panties and petticoat slip. Her dress displays beautiful but did have substantial moth damage in the front. I have repaired it to the best of my abilities and it is not very noticeable at all, look at pictures closely. Her sandals have been replaced because elastic on her original set have stretched with age. Her jewelry is all original along with the cameo on her bodice. All in all she displays beautifully and would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Madame Alexander’s “Cissy” in tagged floral tulle gown. I believe this to be #2282 from 1958. Her dress, gloves, hat and jewelry is all original. Her hair is untouched and has the space bar. She is a gorgeous example, Ive owned her for about 20 years and shes been in a glass case on display the whole time (no sunlight, no pets, no smoking). I have enjoyed her, but its time to downsize. She does have some flaws, which are detailed below. Dress has large tear in the front and small tear on the left side. It looks like all pieces are there so this could be repaired by a skilled person. You cannot see the tears when shes on display, theres so much tulle the tears disappear. While there are no smells, her underskirts have browned with age. The flowers on her hat have some browning as well. I believe her tag, shoes and pantyhose are a very good replacement, just too new looking to be original. A little green stain on her ring finger from the metal of the ring. Arms have flecks of paint from the dress and some discoloration. Small discoloration on forehead. Her eyes are crystal clear and open and close smoothly. 20 Cissy Madame Alexander W/Tagged Yellow Taffeta Floral Dress- 1950s. Does have a vintage odor on doll clothing- this doll is over 60 yrs old so an odor should be expected. Wig is the glue on wig- still has spanner bar across top of head. I do believe her earrings have been broke off(the part that hangs down). Have not tried to remove any marks on the doll. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll outfit from the 1950s-60s. Very good, gently used condition. No stains or tears. Half of the last snap on dress missing. Elastic on slip undies and sleeves a bit loose. Shoes were found with the outfit, but may not be original. Silk flowers on hat and dress are showing their age. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 Doll, 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta Dress w/Hat. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 doll wearing 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta tagged dress, matching yellow slip/petticoat and black hat with flowers. Cissy has blonde hair with spanner bar, hard plastic body and nice blue eyes, all lashes are present. Her body is nice condition, no splits or cracks, her head on lower right side has a small separation, I’ve included a close up photo of this. Her ears are pierced but she’s missing her earrings. Her yellow floral taffeta dress is tagged, excellent condition, very vibrant and full, near mint except it’s missing it’s cameo. She has the matching yellow slip and it’s nice but the waist elastic is streched out a bit. Her hat is original corridinating hat with yellow flowers, it is warped from storage but might be pressed down. Her stocking has a tiny hole at bottom, shoes are not original and she’s missing undies.
