This is a gorgeous doll, Marie Antoinette, by Madame Alexander. She is the 10″ size but with her hair up so high closer to 11″ (not counting the feathers). She is in court dress, pink and maroon, and has the hang tag, but missing her shoes. She was made in 2005, a limited edition of 750 pieces. No box or papers. This offering is for a Cissette doll dressed as the “Gibson Girl” by Madame Alexander. The doll is in very good condition with perfect face paint, bright blue eye shadow, and lightly colored blushed cheeks. As noted in the book “Cissette A Compete Guide to the Vintage Alexander Dolls” by Marjorie E. When found in mint condition this Gibson Girl is one of the most vibrant and beautiful Cissettes. Her hair is in the original untouched set. She retains 100% of her finger nail polish and there are no cracks or seam splits on her body. She wears her original rhinestone earrings and ring. Her outfit has no rips, tears or stains and the colors have remained vibrant. The velvet skirt has no rubs or wear and it has retained its deep purple color with no fading. The snap in the back is firmly attached. Elastic on the skirt has relaxed (see photos). The blouse is crisp and the buttons are firmly attached. Her hat is in very good condition with no rips or snags to the attached veil; however, this is not the original hat. Her original panties are in excellent condition. Stockings are not snagged or torn, no shoes. She is a wonderful example of this harder to find dressed Cissette doll. Head and arms are loose but stay in place. She comes with a stand. All items come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. All items have been in stored in crates in a temperature controlled environment. Vintage Doll Madame Alexander 36 1959 Playpal Type JANIE Strawberry Blonde Hair! She is marked, “Alexander 36 1959″ on the back of her head. Looks like there is a marking on the body, but hard to read. The head has lightened in color from the body and one leg is lighter than the other. Other than that, I do not see much wrong with her. This doll is in good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The hair is silky with some flyway’s. The dress is nice but does have a couple small tears and repairs to the outer layer. The dress has the Alexander tag attached to the back of the neck. The dolls head is loose. The arms move as should. The doll has original thigh high pantyhose as well as shoes and slip underpants. The hat is a hard straw with lace. The eyes of the doll open and close as should. Some of the eyelashes of the doll are missing. The eyes are slightly foggy. The doll measures approximately 16 1/2″ tall and 6″ wide and 4 thick. We are a smoke free family. We will always consider best offer! (Sometimes more than others depending on circumstances). For your consideration is this amazing 1958 Alexander Elise doll typically known as Junior League. She is an excellent condition, the only issues I see are that her shoes elastic has completely stretched out and the ribbon around her coat has left a couple of pink marks around the collar and a tiny bit in the front of the coat. She could also use a good steaming on her dress and coat but I will leave that up to the new owner. Her hair is still in its original hair style and she has lovely, beautiful coloring. She has beautiful blue eyes and all of her eyelashes. She has her furry hat with little purple flowers on top! She really is for the true Elise collector. I believe this doll is very hard to find especially in this condition. Now the box is another story it is in pieces – I didnt take pictures of it because it is a mess somebody will have to put it together with tape if they want the box. This doll has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. She is part of my personal collection and comes from a smoke free home and has no odors. Hollywood Hair Barbie 1993. She is Barbie #10928. This is a deluxe play set with extra hair play fun. The hair mist makes colored shapes and streaks in her hair.
