Gorgeous vintage 14 Marme doll. Eyes open and close as they should. She is super clean. No bad or sour smells. She has a small area on the right side of her head where you can see her scalp. I dont think this is a bald spot. I think the scalp is visible because if the way her hair is styled. So I believe all hair is present. I think her hair in the back should be covering the spot but its not. You can see that the hair is pulled back a little further on that side in the photos. She is a very hard to find early Cissette in what I consider mint condition. She is costumed in a beautiful red velvet gown with red net trim. She wears a red feather head piece in her hair. She comes with her original gold wrist tag with: Klondike on it. Her costume is tagged: Madame Alexander. This doll is in my estimation in excellent condition as these dolls were made in the late 60′s-early 70′s. She is in unplayed with condition and has been packed away for many years. I do not always know the makers or artists of any of these items and dolls except some of them may have a bit of age to them. Nurse Joanie is in very good condition. She has her original dress, cap, shoes and watch pin. She has a tiny hairline crack at her left butt cheek. She has some fading and slight loss of lip paint. The strap to one of her shoes is broken but could probably be stitched back in place. There is a gap in the ribbon trim of her cap and slight tearing to the fabric of her left sleeve cuff. This doll is amazing in every way. Her outfit, her face, wig, shoes, custom-made stand, and hard specialty box. Her sleep eyes work perfectly and she’s in excellent condition. Note – there is some faint fading of the box edge which is only noticed when the box lid is removed. The stand uses Swarovski-type crystal medallions. The doll is wrapped in tissue and stuffed to maintain dress fullness. I did not tie her into the box for this reason. She is ready to remove from tissue and display — stand is already attached. I love this doll set, and have one of my own — the last pic shows two dolls: one is mine (without the hand tag) next to yours (with the hand tag). This lovely doll wears a blue dress. The bodice of the dress is blue velvet and its skirt is sheer nylon. She wears a pink taffeta slip with matching panties. Rayon socks and black shoes with snaps on the side that also have fuzzy soles. She wears a blue hat with miniature flowers that match her pocketbook or muff. She is a hard plastic (1950′s) Madame Alexander bride doll. She is 18 inches tall. She is dressed in her tagged lace trimmed original bride dress. The dress is silk, satin, and rayon. The dress has a sewn in skirt and she has her original lace trimmed panties. She has her original silk stockings but only one of her original shoes. There are 18 jewels in the front of her dress. Notice the Madame Alexander, New York tag on the back of her dress. Her styled hair is a honey brown. She has a silk floral hair piece and carries an original silk floral bouquet. She has hazel color sleep eyes with 100% of the eye lashes still on. Her facial painting is wonderful. There are no flaws or repainting as examined by a black light. Her fingers are all there. I think she had a necklace at one point because there are some marks on her necks where a necklace would have been. I do not have the box. From our home to yours.
