Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a very cute 1953 Madame Alexander Kin Wendy Kin 8 Heavier Weight Doll that is Strung (a non-walker). She has Triple-Stitched Brown Hair with pretty Blue Eyes that open and close as they should. There are a few skips in her hairline stitching and a small area of back webbing showing (photo 22). She has a sweet face with pale cheeks. There is a tiny indent on the right side of her face just below her bangs and in line with her right eye (photo 17). Her lips may have some touch up but not sure. Her body is marked ALEX on the back. Her body, arms and legs are in good condition with some rubs and marks on them. Her legs are the heavier solid ones. Her right side body seam is more prominent than the left side (photos14 and 15). The lower leg areas show some scratches on them. She stands well and is a little sweetheart. Her very rare Kin Black Floral Pinafore over tagged Golden Yellow Dress. The dress is in nice, clean condition with some light wrinkling from storage. The Kin tag on the dress has some wear. It closes in the back with two sets of secure square snaps. Her gorgeous black pinafore has two metal grommets where the stringing goes through and ties in the back. It is in very nice, clean condition with a very slight detection of sunshine in the color from displaying it on a doll. Both pieces sit up so nicely on this Kin. Somehow, Madame Alexander had a way of making so many outfits be able to sit up on their own! Her added underpants are not original to the outfit but fit her well. She also has more current soft black smooth bottom side snap shoes in good condition withs some light rubs or marks on them. Her homemade white socks fit her snugly. A very rare outfitted 1953 heavier Kin that is not perfect but still quite beautiful! Alexander-Kins Alex Wendy Quiz Kin Doll Straight Leg Non Walker 1953. 7 1/2 Alexander-Kins Wendy Quiz-Kin Redhead Doll from 1953. MA only made Quiz-kins in 1953. Back is marked ALEX. Straight leg non-walker, her legs move nicely, She has been restrung. There are two push buttons on her back. The top button moves her head up & down, the bottom button moves her head from side to side, she is a yes no doll. Works perfectly (see video). Red hair in the original curly flip style of the 50′s with a faux floral headband. Early heavier body with just a few scratches and aged related fading (see pictures closely). Blue sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes & brows. Eyes sometimes need manual help (see video). Heart shaped cherry red mouth and blushed cheeks. MA tagged pink organdy dress wraps around her waist and ties in the back. One little tear on her dress hem (see pics) and a very light stain. Off white suedette side snap shoes and off white socks. She is clean smelling. A darling early Wendy Quiz-Kins to add to your collection. Smoke free pet free home. This is a very beautiful Madame Alexander Kin Wendy Kin 8 Heavier Weight Doll that is Strung (a non-walker). She has a Triple-Stitched Blonde Hair wig with pretty Blue Eyes that open and close as they should. One curl on back could use tightening. She has a sweet face with lightly blushed cheeks. Her body is marked ALEX on the back. Her body, arms and legs are in good condition but do have some discoloration, rubs and marks on them with arms and primarily legs lighter than her body. There is a very slight seam separation on the right side of her body (photo 10). She can stand well but do have her doll stand that we will include to safely display her. This Kin wears a really difficult to find tagged Alexander-kin Bridesmaid outfit that is in wonderful condition, clean condition. It includes the beautiful pastel pink bridesmaid dress that closes in the back with two square signature snaps. In addition, outfit includes the half-slip and long underpants with snap; both pieces in nice condition. The shoes are more current off white smooth bottom side snap shoes with homemade tube socks; both are in good condition. Her bridesmaid hat is also in nice condition with pretty flowers and chin strap; there is a touch of discoloration to the straw. As you can see, she’s true a beautiful 1953 Kin that is quite special and has been carefully stored. We have always tried real hard to keep this set in clean, crisp condition.
