Madame Alexander Dolls

This doll is to pretty for words. She is a quiz-kin doll with a shiny tosca triple stitch wig that is nice and tight to the head. She has outstanding all original bright blushing and her coloring is fantastic. She wears the lovely blue Little Edwardian dress that is in excellent condition. The blue color has not faded and it has no stains, tears, holes or odors. The sleeves are still nice and tight and are a lovely ivory color. Under the dress she has her slip and pantaloons both of which stay up nicely and have no issues to report. She wears white fuzzy bottom to stitch shoes. The shoes are not as white as they once were but they do maintain most of their original suede and open and close easily. Lastly is her beautiful hat that is in beautiful condition. It has lovely pink flowers and lots of black netting. The netting is free of holes and is very full. The chin elastic is still nice and tight and looks fantastic on. She was made in 1953 with strung legs. She is in mint condition and all original from head to toe. Her tagged outfit is mint and crisp. She has sleep eyes and rosy cheeks. She came in a box marked 564 Auburn. The box has shelf wear and is discolored. I also accept other forms of payments. This is a darling little doll with blonde triple stitch wig that is shiny and nice and tight to her head. She has original coloring, nice overall skin tone and no cracks or stains to her body. Her outfit is in very good condition. The pink dress is a nice pink color and has not yellowed like so many that I have had in the past. There are a few very small light brown marks on the back of the dress that do not distract but are there none the less. Besides that the dress if free of stains, holes or odors. Under the dress she wears the a slip and bloomers. The slip is a little stretched but still stays up and the bloomers are in good shape. Her gold shoes and socks are in nice condition and show little wear. Lastly is her beautiful hat with blue striped ribbon tie. The hat is a lovely pink color and the flowers are beautiful. The tie is in good condition but may be a little shorter than it was originally however it still ties in a beautiful big bow. This doll appears to be in nice condition. The sleep-eyes work well, and there does not seem to be any damage. There are some very light marks on the surface of her skin in some places, but they are difficult to see. Please view the pictures closely for the best cosmetic description of the doll and her clothes. The box is in good shape but is noticeably bent/creased. I will do my best to give a brief description of each of the items. “Wendy Does the Highland Fling” – Dress is beautiful but is missing gem at waist. “Shopping with Auntie” – Top Jacket hole is week and dress and jacket have some fading. “Wendy in Dude Ranch Outfit” – Pants Excellent (great tight waist), Shirt & Correct Belt Great Condition, Hat is missing the gold ribbon around the top of hat. “Wendy Loves School Dresses”- Very Good Condition No Issues. “Riding Outfit” – Pants and Top Great Condition, Hat is in Good Condition with one small hole to felt. “Wendy in Suspender Dress” – Rare outfit but…. Skirt looks played with and there was a repair to the arm seam in the back which I have shown a picture of. Great for display but has issues. “Wendy Looking Very Well Dressed” – Played with Condition and arms need to be re-elasticized. Red Dress- Very Good Played with Condition. Night Gown- Good Condition. “Wendy Attending A House Party” #582- 1956. Green Eyes open and shut freely, original triple stitched wig in Auburn(red) braids tied with gold silk ribbons. Wendy is dressed in a tagged Brown polish cotton dress with a gold taffeta pinafore with lace trim at hem. White original scalloped embroidered half slip and panties to match(both have had elastic tighten). White rayon sock and brown side snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. Original straw hat with gold chin strip(loose) and pink and purple flower on hat that match the pink and purple flowers in basket. I tied the basket(handbag) with a ribbon to keep it from getting lost. Wendy is marked Alex on her back.. Dress is tagged Alexander-kins & has darken from being on the dark brown dress. This Queen doll is in excellent to near mint condition, and appears not to have been undressed or played with. This beautiful BKW has lovely all original bright coloring, a nice matte finish and no stains or cracks to her body. Her tosca triple stitch wig is nice and tight, shiny and has lots of curls. Her lovely gown is free of any stains, holes, tears or odors. The blue ribbon sash is beautiful and all of the gems are present and shiny. Her cape is a rich red velvet with no worn areas and is just perfect. Under her dress she has on a lovely slip and bloomers with nice tight stretch to the elastic. Her gold shoes are perfect and are still factory tied. Her crown is in really good condition but has one small split to the plastic that is really hard to see but is there none the less. She tops her outfit off with a beautiful pearl necklace and diamond bracelet. The original box is marked 650 and show normal wear and tear.
