Below I will add any written details that I feel the photos do not or cannot represent. Vintage Madame Alexander Kins Wendy Ann 522 Tosca w/ Box + More All Original 1950s Walker. This doll appears to be in nice condition. The sleep-eyes work well, and there does not seem to be any damage. There are some very light marks on the surface of her skin in some places, but they are difficult to see. Please view the pictures closely for the best cosmetic description of the doll and her clothes. The box is in good shape but is noticeably bent/creased. This is a grouping of items that range from very good to just fair in condition. I will do my best to give a brief description of each of the items. “Wendy Does the Highland Fling” – Dress is beautiful but is missing gem at waist. “Shopping with Auntie” – Top Jacket hole is week and dress and jacket have some fading. “Wendy in Dude Ranch Outfit” – Pants Excellent (great tight waist), Shirt & Correct Belt Great Condition, Hat is missing the gold ribbon around the top of hat. “Wendy Loves School Dresses”- Very Good Condition No Issues. “Riding Outfit” – Pants and Top Great Condition, Hat is in Good Condition with one small hole to felt. “Wendy in Suspender Dress” – Rare outfit but…. Skirt looks played with and there was a repair to the arm seam in the back which I have shown a picture of. Great for display but has issues. “Wendy Looking Very Well Dressed” – Played with Condition and arms need to be re-elasticized. Red Dress- Very Good Played with Condition. Night Gown- Good Condition. Red Skirt- Excellent Condition and nice tight waist. Ballerina tutu- In good condition but needs flowers replaced at waist. White Rain Coat- Good Condition. “Wendy Attending A House Party” #582- 1956. Green Eyes open and shut freely, original triple stitched wig in Auburn(red) braids tied with gold silk ribbons. Wendy is dressed in a tagged Brown polish cotton dress with a gold taffeta pinafore with lace trim at hem. White original scalloped embroidered half slip and panties to match(both have had elastic tighten). White rayon sock and brown side snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. Original straw hat with gold chin strip(loose) and pink and purple flower on hat that match the pink and purple flowers in basket. I tied the basket(handbag) with a ribbon to keep it from getting lost. Wendy is marked Alex on her back.. Dress is tagged Alexander-kins & has darken from being on the dark brown dress. This Queen doll is in excellent to near mint condition, and appears not to have been undressed or played with. This beautiful BKW has lovely all original bright coloring, a nice matte finish and no stains or cracks to her body. Her tosca triple stitch wig is nice and tight, shiny and has lots of curls. Her lovely gown is free of any stains, holes, tears or odors. The blue ribbon sash is beautiful and all of the gems are present and shiny. Her cape is a rich red velvet with no worn areas and is just perfect. Under her dress she has on a lovely slip and bloomers with nice tight stretch to the elastic. Her gold shoes are perfect and are still factory tied. Her crown is in really good condition but has one small split to the plastic that is really hard to see but is there none the less. She tops her outfit off with a beautiful pearl necklace and diamond bracelet. The original box is marked 650 and show normal wear and tear. Description Offered in this listing is a beautiful 8 Madame Alexander Wendy Kins straight leg walker doll. She was my Mom’s doll and I can guarantee she was never played with. I recall my Mom saying her legs came off rather early (Mom had them put back on a few years ago) so she never played with her. Lucky for the doll because look at her gorgeous, high color face and perfect hair! She is from 1955 or 1956. She is completely original and dressed in a rare, hard to find fashion #488 “Wendy Ready for the Garden Party”. She is wearing her original lace bra and matching satin & lace undies that are near mint as are her original pink side snap shoes and white stockings. She has the dress, slip, pantaloons, and bonnet with silk flowers. The organza dress is very nice. It does have a moth hole in the front of the dress. The bodice also has wear/snags. They aren’t too bad and the dress still displays beautifully. The half slip is excellent, but the waist is stretched out and needs a pin. The pantaloons are perfect with very good elasticity. Her sleep eyes open and shut perfectly and the walk function works perfectly. All of my items are stored in a smoke and pet free environment. You are either happy with the item, or you are not. From an estate collection comes a wonderful red haired Alexander-kin dressed in the complete outfit #576 “Wendy’s First Sailor Dress” from 1955. Wow this is one adorable doll. This darling SLW has beautiful red hair that is nice and tight to her head with lots of shine. She has beautiful bright facial coloring and she is a 1955 doll with no under eye lashes which is correct for this year and outfit. Her body is in good condition with no stains or cracks. Her outfit is just excellent as well. The navy under dress is crisp with lots of body and shine. The darling shirt over top is also in excellent condition with no holes, stains tears or odors. The color is beautiful and it comes with the correct red ribbon tie around the neck. Under her dress she has on a beautiful star slip with tight elastic and matching star bloomers also with nice tight original stretch. To top off the outfit she has her darling sailor hat. The felt hat has no holes, fading or wear and the red pom is in great shape. The only issue with this hat was that the gold elastic had stretched so we tightened it up and now if fits perfectly on her head. To finish this outfit off she comes with htf red Alexander kins socks and white fuzzy bottom shoes both of which are in very good condition. This is such a great doll that will not disappoint. This beauty is one of the 1956 “Southern Belles” as sown on p. Smith’s “World of Alexander-kins”. I don’t believe this doll has ever been undressed as the purse is securely tied to her hand and looks to have never been removed. The doll herself is a BKW that has original light blush and a gorgeous blonde triple stitch wig. There are no cracks or stains in her body from me peeking beneath her clothes, but not undressing her. The outfit is glorious. It is complete with the pink taffeta fancy dress in great condition, magenta fuzzy bottom shoes, magenta purse securely tied to her wrist, cotton pantaloons, matching slip, double strand necklace that is silver (I think the white wore off) and fantastic hat. The purple hat is adorned with flowers and net trim. I did not find any holes in the netting. The pantaloons and slip have very relaxed elastic, but they stay up under the dress well enough to display. All in all a true beauty to add to your collection! She is wearing an excellent condition pink tutu and matching panties that have great color and shine with no stains or tears. Wendy is dressed in a green cotton dress with matching panties, white pinafore with pink rose floral design, white rayon socks and green velvet side snap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. Dress is tag: Alexander kins and has been stitch down. Pictures were taken inside with a flash and as you can see there is variation in the color at the shoulders and around the hem where pinafore didn’t cover.
