Offered here is a beautiful vintage 1940s Madame Alexander Margaret doll with the suntan body and complexion and her original blonde mohair wig with bangs and curls, and the original hair barrettes and large pink satin bow pinned in her hair. She stands 14 inches tall. She has her original cotton slip trimmed in vintage lace with attached panties, with pink bows and lace t. He leg elastic has stretched from age. This doll’s hair is a wonderful sunshine yellow blonde, with tiny curls across the back and framing her face. She has wavy blonde bangs and her original gold barrettes on both sides of her head at her temples. NOTE: A friend who is a doll expert told me that she believes this is the Princess Margaret doll made in 1948 or 1949, a little blonde with suntan body dressed in her original pink dress and slip and panties and shoes, only missing her apron from the original outfit. She is dressed in her original vintage very soft pink taffeta dress, with puffed sleeves trimmed in lace, a circular boat collar also edged in vintage ivory lace, and a pink satin ribbon tie around her waist. This vintage dress has a vintage soft white cotton slip and matching attached panties or bloomers, also edged in vintage lace. The panties have tiny pink bows sewn on them that match the pink ribbons in her mohair wig. She has her original black patent looking ankle strap shoes with their original tiny black bows on the toes and rayon anklet socks. She has a lovely vintage Madame Alexander pink sequin purse on a gold chain over her left arm; this little purse opens. On her left wrist there are a couple tiny lines in her doll finish, perhaps from where the purse chain rubbed. It is very minor but I did want to mention it. She has the gorgeous SUNTAN body finish and very rosy cheeks and rosebud red lips, wonderful blue green eyes and all her dark, full lashes, and painted light brown brows. NOTE: A previous owner has hand sewn the name’Mary Elaine’ on the little slip in blue embroidery thread. It can be turned to the back or left in the front. It is most likely the child’s name who owned this doll originally. This sweet little doll is all dressed up and ready for a wedding, for Church or for a special birthday party or afternoon tea! This doll has no “old doll” offensive odor and shows no sign of any sun fading. She has been kept in a display cabinet in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in their boxes in transit. CHRISTMAS MADNESS SALE, HUGE REDUCTION, HURRY HURRY! Lady Churchill Dressed for Queen Elizabeth I I Coronation. Her body is in excellent condition. I will upload two pictures of her undressed later. Her dress is superb and her coat has all its Rhinestones. There is some staining along on the length, but its in the billowing folds and truly I never see. Where the coat is folded back (camera right), theres another tiny stain, but again hidden by the factory intended flap. Her face is a vision and no repaint. Such gorgeous blue eyes on a beautiful Margaret face. One spoke of her tiara has broken off, but DOES NOT effect it standing upright. The fabric is gorgeous silk satin and is exactly as the pictures. This is a 21 tall, Vintage, all composition doll by Madame Alexander from 1946. She is in wonderful condition. She has her original dark brown braided wig (one lose strand), clear amber sleep eyes with original mohair lashes, finely painted brows and lower lashes, smokey eye shadow, blushed cheeks and red lips. Her composition is clean and has no damage except for very faint overall crazing. Wearing her original clothes (label has been cut out). Her dress is red cotton with ecru collar and cuffs, her apron is white organdy and has a pocket. She has a white cotton slip and panties. All are trimmed in lace. Her socks are rayon and her shoes are black leatherette. She has her red straw hat trimmed with flowers. Everything is in wonderful condition and without any damage that I can see. Gorgeous Margaret Face Bride Doll, great color, perfect hair still in netting, clear eyes. Original aged box with tissue paper. Veil, bouquet, shoes, garter and nylons. Her beautiful clear eyes. Don’t open full if she has been laying down for a while. Simply how her upright against yourself with one hand and tap upwards at bottom of feet. I learned that from my doll club. They tell me that’s common. With these order dolls. There are brownish spots I see on front of gown and one on back. Might be able to remove, I didn’t try. Veil has little random holes, I tried to show in photo. Box of course is just old but it has bottom and top. Veil has not flowers, I see others that do and some that don’t. I asked the original (and only owner) states that the she never had flowers for the veil. Please ask for more specific photos if you like.
