She wears her original netting stockings and black flawlessly fuzzy soled shoes, both in beautiful condition. Her hair is in original set of curls that circle her head like a wreath. She has very long and thick black eyelashes, pouty Maggie lips and soft blushing, and beautiful eyebrows. She has an original wrist tag and black Madame Alexander hat box. This doll truly is stunning to look at. Her tagged twilight Blue taffeta dress is crisp and the collar and sleeve cuffs are still rather white! SHe has a cute little matching taffeta belt that fastens with a pearl belt loop. Her pink velvet hat is darling and ties with a matching pink satin bow at her chin. Her socks are fairly wite, she carries a black and gold hat box with original cardboard Binnie tag, and curlers and comb still on the original card. Her coloring is beautiful (cheeks, eyebrows, eye-shadow, lips etc,) Her Eyes are piercing blue with thick, full lashes. Her curls are still shiny and tightly in original curled set. Her original “Binnie” box and original tissue is still in fairly nice condition, but the box does have some light age wear and age staining. She has a walking style body like the others in the Me and My Shadow series. She has be blue eyes, VERY long thick eyelashes, nice even two stroke brows, and soft pink cheeks. Her shiny blonde hair has curled under bangs and soft curl clusters at the nape of her neck, all nearly flawless and in original set. Her crisply tagged gown is slate blue, soft taffeta with elaborate silk braid and loop-trimmed panniers on her hips and bustle drapery down the back. She has lace trimmed tulle sleevelets, and netting stockings. She wears a light cream, taffeta, loop trimmed petticoat with a hoop that accentuates the bustle in the back, and attached lace-trimmed pantaloons in fantastic condition. Her shoes are lovely with almost flawless fuzz still on the soles. Her original lace hat is a light cream with original flowers and original pink satin ribbon that ties nicely at her chin. Her original pink velvet handbag is in nice condition, and she also carries a white and gold Madame Alexander hat box also in lovely condition. She is really a very lovely doll from the desirable Me and My Shadow Portrait series, and comes from a smoke and pet-free home. Look at the photos carefully and ask questions. Your 1950s Cissy Bridesmaid Doll is wearing her all-original (including the flowers which are often replaced) bridesmaid outfit, which is complete — dress, veil, stockings, bouquet, and shoes. One shoe’s elastic has some stretching going on. She has the sweetest face and perfect makeup and coloring. She has gorgeously-styled auburn hair — which is the most desirable of hair colorings for this doll. For a doll of her age, she sure looks great, and her outfit shows no yellowing, aging, tears, or stains other than a tiny pinpoint spot. Here you have my best good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind, though, that vintage/antique items always show their age — Don’t we all! ? — so please expect that there will be something about this item that’s not perfect. For sale is this Beautiful 18 Near Mint, Madame Alexander Ballerina. Her coloring is fantastic, her eyes are blue with thick, full eyelashes, and her eyes open and close as they should. Her hair is shiny and still in original up-do. The Roses and velvety flowers in her hair are still AMAZING. She has matching flowers on her shoulder, at her waist and on her wrist as a corsage. She has her original black necklace. Her salmon pink and gold outfit is outstanding. The tag is crisp and perfect, all of the tulle is still stiff, as is the pink satin bodice, and all the gold trimming is still rather sparkly. Her matching pink satin panties are perfect. Her original shoes are lovely as well. The only real “flaw” I can see is a tiny bit of darkening of glue on a couple of the roses. MOST of the roses are GORGEOUS. This is a 14″, Vintage, Near Mint In box, Madame Alexander “Annabelle by Kate Smith with her wrist tag. She is simply adorable!! Her blonde hair is Shiny, smooth and in original set— with the sides pulled up with a hair bar and large original aqua Bow sitting on top. Her little Maggie face and coloring are fantastic. She wears a crisply tagged BRIGHT white dress with Peter Pan collar and white ric-rac trim. Her original, bright “Annabelle” sweater is in lovely condition as well, and closes in the back with square snaps. Her slip, panties and socks are still white as well. Here is a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll from 1958. She is very elegant, in mint condition and all original. This is a high-end very rare doll and one of the most sought after among vintage Cissy collectors who refer to her as Evergreen Cissy. The doll has never been touched. Cissys hair is rich and lustrous. The lovely burnished auburn wig is in its original formal set pulled up and back at the sides and falling into turned-under curls at the nape of the neck. Her face paint is lovely and totally original with no touch-ups and no repainting of any kind. Her eyes are crystal clear blue. I have many Cissy dolls that have had their blushing and hair re-done. They are lovely and I enjoy them, but having an all original doll that looks like it just came from the Alexander factory is a joy. It is difficult to believe that she is so mint and so pristine. Of special note, this doll is featured in Kiley Shaws book, The Cissy Files, on page 43. Cissys gown is spectacular, tagged and very rare. The bodice is constructed of dark green netting over an ivory organdy lining. Evergreen netting is gathered at the neckline to frame the dolls face beautifully. The neckline is further accented by ivory cabbage roses. The gowns skirt is constructed of gathered layers of evergreen netting over an ivory organdy under-skirt. This skirt is very full, keeping with the high standards that Madame Alexander used in those days to costume her elegant dolls. Yards of fabric were used to ensure fullness and a beautiful drape to the clothing. The gowns skirt also boasts a twinkling of rhinestones and ivory roses. Cissy wear the original slip and panties that came with the Evergreen Gown. The slip and panties are constructed with ivory taffeta. The slip has an evergreen ruffle to give further heft to the skirt. The elastic in the panties and slip has relaxed over the years. I ran a silk thread through the waistlines of both. Cissy also wears nylon stockings. Cissys accessories include the Evergreen Gowns matching stole, diamond earring with a matching bracelet, and a new lovely rhinestone lucite evening purse.
