Madame Alexander Dolls

This 8 strung Madame Alexander doll is from the early 1950′s. She’s been very gently played with. Hair is in its original set, bit mussed. Body is fine but does have a few dark spots by ankles probably from the black shoes she wore. She’s well strung and a type of heavier doll made in the early days. Her makeup is fine and eyes open and close easily. She comes with her original black side snap shoes (snaps are working). The clothes are not tagged and in played with shape. VINTAGE 1950′S MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL – EC N/MINT. This is a VERY NICE doll. She is a 1950′s vintage 20 Madame Alexander Cissy fashion doll. She is in great condition as though she always owned by an adult. She has lovely original make-up and still has matte look to plastic. She has original light cheek blush. She has blue sleep eyes with all lush full lashes present. Her eyes are not cloudy. She has no Musty odors and was properly stored. Her original wig is still in the original style. It is in excellent condition. She has been stored in a clean dry trunk for years. Has no stains or cracks or stains. Her body is in excellent condition with all correct parts. Her arms and legs still very snug, no splits on the vinyl arms at shoulder or elbow joints. She still has rosy blush on hands and knees. She wears fancy commercial made vintage evening dress, and panties. It is a lovely gown with black velvet bodice, gold silky satin skirt with tulle over skirt that has metallic gold coin dots. The dress may be an original gown for the large Coty Girl doll. She may have some light dust if any. A GREAT vintage doll for collection.. She has great even skin tone that is not discolored. She wears an original outfit which is in good condition without rips or tears. However, the front of the dress is. She wears a cute feathered red felt cap. Her hair is in beautiful unplayed with condition and her face and body are without flaws, gouges, or paint chips. She wears shoes which could be original. The right skate needs a bit of glue to adhere the blade to the underside front of the skate. Tightly strung and in great shape, this doll would be a nice addition to the mid 20th century collector. The dress is in excellent condition, fabric maintains it’s original finish and the fabric and tag are crisp. She also is wearing a pink taffeta slip, nylons, panties(may be not be original, but are the right vintage and style) and original pink Cissy shoes with flower decorations. She is still wearing her original drop pearl earrings and she carries a straw handbag. Her hair is in a curled ponytail at the nap of her neck. She has her metal bar on her head and a lovely pink satin ribbon above her curls. She has a lovely complexion and full lashes. There are no cracks inside her legs. I have included several pictures to show the condition. I’ve done my best to describe this as accurately as possible. Please study the pictures closely, as I will show pictures of nearly every part possible. Comes from non-smoking home. Whenever I can, I start low without reserve.
