DOLL IS BEING USED AS A MODEL TO SHOW HOW THE GOWN AND ACCESSORIES LOOK ON A VINTAGE CISSY DOLL. It is #2172 from 1957. It has a wide circular skirt fully-lined in white taffeta and is tagged “CISSY”. Her pale blue velvet sash is caught at the waistline with a garland of roses. Gown and slip do not appear to have been laundered and both are in very nice condition… The gown still rustles with movement. There looks like there may be more of a blue color tone within some of the folds of the gown which happens over time with such a wide circular skirt. There is very minor wear at the bottom of the open sleeves. The velvet waistband is a dusty blue and shows minor age; however, the original vintage floral trim looks very nice. Gown and slip are not mint nor perfect but in very nice vintage displayed condition. Clothing has no offensive odors and my home is non-smoking with no inside pets. I have tried to mention everything but please zoom pictures for more details as they are part of the description or ask questions. MA Vintage Cissy Doll Nude. Cissy has fantastic turquoise color eyes (check out pictures), her hair is clean and shiny, very thick and full of curls galore!! I would say Cissy’s color of hair to be a honey blonde, having no bald spots or discoloration, lashes are almost perfect. You would need to lay Cissy down on her back, so that when she closes her eyes, you will be able to see an small area of lashes that are a little bit shorter than the rest, none are missing (please reference picture). This Cissy girl has the molded body painted pink as were the earliest Cissy dolls manufactured in the 1950′s. Cissy is able to pose any way you would like for her to. Cissy has the pink blushing on both hands and both knees, no tears in her rubber arms, no fractures on her knees or neck area, however, she does have one smaller size split on her upper left leg up in the body cavity (please reference picture) tucked way up, not easily seen! Cissy does not sport pierced ears because they were not available on the earlier Cissy girl dolls. This vintage Cissy doll is one that you do not want to miss out on. Your will love her. She has a basic page boy hairstyle but I prefer it tied in back with a ribbon. She is a knockout and ready to be displayed. She has had refreshed high color blush to her infused face and she has had interior split repairs so any flaws have been attended to professionally. I bought her this way and it is nice to have a doll with eyes so nicely set and any flaws attended to so that there is nothing not working. She is a stunning doll that is going to look fantastic in whatever you put her in. She has a very classy look to her. She does have earring holes and they work nicely. Everything on her works nicely.
