The doll is wearing her original dainty dress with pink organdy yoke and sleeves, flowered cream cotton attached pinafore. Muslin slip and panties, socks, side-snap white shoes, extremely hard to find, wovenp pale pink hat with pink banding. The dress has original cloth tag Jane Withers/. She is in wonderful condition, some crazing on the legs with the worse on the inside of both legs an open line down the length of both, they have been stablized with craze control so they display very well , the arms have some craze but minor, there is a small craze line below both eyes see pics, this is common with these Janes, but her is very minor compaired to the usual crazing. Her eyes are both crazed, Original dress has some soiling from display but its still crisp, could be laundered, no damage or rips. 13 Betty Face Madame Alexander LITTLE COLONEL doll. A character role for Shirley Temple in the 30′s. For Shirley temple dolls. Composition, harder to find doll. Clothes are Factory head to toe. This doll has little to almost no crazing. Her mohair wig is lush and has pins in the curls. She has some normal joint rubs. But fingers and toes are complete, no splits or breaks. Her facial features are really nice. Her coloring is beautiful. Eyes are brown tin, so no clouding. She has been restrung. The soles of her shoes were redone with suede. Her dress is not mint, it does have that vintage look and feel but really nice. Her hat has a little bleed by the red bow and needs a couple stitches in a inner seam. Please look at all the pictures. I do not smoke. We have a smoke free, pet free home. Here for your consideration is a wonderful composition doll by Madame Alexander. This is the very RARE RED HEAD Nurse for the Dionne Quintuplets. She is full body composition. I measure her at 13 inches tall and that is what the book says, as well. She has the “Betty” face. She is all original and will come to you in her original Box! She has beautiful sleep eyes. She is missing lashes from her left eye. She is all original and in beautiful condition. I do not see a tag, but that is not unusual with dolls of this age. It is very obvious she is in her original outfit. She is also wearing her original shoes and socks. Please note she even still has her Nurse’s Cap! She is in beautiful condition and I see nothing wrong with her. Her face paint, eyebrows, lower lashes and lips are absolutely beautiful. I just realized that there is a tiny hole in the back of her top (I just checked and it is visible in the picture) and the little safety pin that is supposed to fasten the back of her skirt is missing. That is an easy fix. Please view the pictures carefully, as they are part of the description. I could miss something that is important to you. I have a smoke free, pet free home. All the 8 dolls and hard to find wood scooter are in fabulous condition! All have their original tagged outfits, shoes and socks with original metal pins. All the faces, heads and legs are free of crazing and there are no rubs on the painted features, no repaint or repair. I have not taken off the clothes as it looks that they have never been removed so I’m guessing the bodies are just as nice as the faces and legs. They all seem strung just right. Wooden scooter still retains all their decal names, no breaks. The 2 back red wooden wheels have some paint loss, nothing major.
