This is a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She has decent hair and original clothing. Face looks pretty but has some stains. Dress also has many light yellowish stains and other issues. It is hard to photograph. She has slip, panties and stockings. She has great coloring and no cracks to her legs. One arm has discoloration. Hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Margot Cissette doll in her original outfit. I would consider both doll and outfit in excellent vintage condition. Margot is a lovely brunette with very shiny hair in the original set. Her make up is flawless and her body has no splits, cracks or stains. She appears to me to have not been played with. Be sure to scroll down to see all the pictures. Here is Cissy wearing outfit #2141 from 1957. The doll’s rosy cheeks and coloring is all original. The top of her hair is still in original set with metal band. The bottom of her hair needs restyling. Her eyes open and close fine and she has all her eyelashes. She does not have any seam splits on legs, body or head. She does have two cracks in the middle of her back. I can’t image how they got there. You can see these in the photo. I did reinforce them with clear glue so they should not travel any further and be stable. You don’t see them anyway under the clothes. Her navy taffeta dress is still crisp and nice. It may have a little dust at the waistline folds. Snaps are tight and it is tagged. The organdy cape is nice with no stains. The correct watch is still attached to the waist. The elastic in her lace slip has loosened and I pinned it. Her underpants elastic is tight. The hat flowers maybe a little crushed and it is missing a few of the little buds. Vtg 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy #2146 in Blue Taffeta Dress Outfit GORGEOUS. This is a Vintage Cissy Madame Alexander Doll. All Original I believe (wrist tag string still on wrist). Dispalyed for many years. She has her Hat, Earrings, necklace, Bracelet, Stockings Undies, Slip, shoes, dress and shawl. Shoes have the elastic stretched as usual. As is the elastic on the undies and skirt. Tag on dress still very nice. She is in fantastic condition. Some small marks on her wrist from the bracelet. The shawl is also in nice condition, just dirty from dust (I did not try and clean it) White always traps the dirt.. And ask any questions of things I may have forgotten to mention.
