Vintage 1950′s SLW Madame Alexander-kins Doll – Original Factory Dressed Doll– Gorgeous!!!! I’m not sure of her name but the hat popped up under “Wendy Adores a Party”? These dolls don’t look like they’ve ever had their clothes removed so I’m not going to undress them. This one is a gorgeous SLW with brunette hair that stands alone and head turns when the legs are moved. Her coloring is near perfect as you can see in the photos. Everything about her is crisp including her hat, dress, slip and underwear. Her slip and underwear may have turned color the slightest bit but not the dress, pinafore, or hat. Her tag is perfect as well as her black side snap velvet shoes with fuzzy bottoms. Please ask questions, I will be happy to provide additional photos. This is a lovely vintage Madame Alexander Alexanderkins from the 1950′s. She is the heavier plastic version with the clear grey eyelashes. She is wearing a tagged gold cotton dress with matching undies, a black flowered pinafore, natural straw hat, rayon socks and black sueded shoes with flocked fuzzy bottoms. She has dark blonde triple stitched wig and blue sleep eyes that work perfectly. She retains her original stringing… A tiny bit loose, but not bad. She will hold a pose. Her undies elastic is stretched out a bit. I did not want to replace it or run a thread to tighten it. The undies still stay up. Her socks are also stretched out at the top somewhat, but again, I left them alone. The bottom of one shoe has some fuzzy flocking missing along the edges… There are also a couple of nicks out of the edge of her hat… She really is a nice doll! Smoke and pet free home. She is wearing a black pinafore outfit that was made from 1953-56. She is from 1955 based off of her having no under eyelashes. This doll is in unplayed with condition and just terrific in every way. The doll herself has darling auburn side bunches with original green factory tied bows. She has beautiful all original coloring and is a SLW. She is a little bit loose but we did not want to undress her to restring her and will leave it up to the new owner. Her dress is so cute and is a dark pink with a waffle design. The dress is perfect with no stains, holes, tears or odors. The matching bloomers are also perfect and have tight original stretch. The black pinafore is beautiful and has not faded. It also has no issues to report and is still factory tied in the back. She comes wearing beautiful socks and an excellent pair of fuzzy bottom black shoes that show no wear. She finishes off her outfit with a darling straw hat with pink roses. The hat like everything else is excellent and has tight stretch to the elastic. She comes with her original hang tag, neck brace and box all of which are in great condition. All together this is a near mint to mint doll in the box that is unplayed with and fantastic. Madame Alexander-kins tagged Wendy Doll Has Fun Wearing Black Taffeta Pinafore (c625). This is a lovely doll made by the Madame Alexander Doll Company in 1956. She is a bent knee walker and has a triple stitch tosca wig. She stands on her own and holds position. Her walker works great- and she is strung well. No problems with her body – cracks or stains, etc. She have perfect face coloring and appears to have never been played with. Her outfit is excellent and tagged. No moth holes, all snaps work. She wears a darling green oxide colored hat with original flowers. The elastic is still excellent. The dress is coral pink organdy and tagged. The pinafore has original matching flowers to the hat. She has a white star embroidered half slip and matching cotton panties. Her socks are nylon white with fuzzy sole side snap mary jane shoes. NO fading or damage to mention, she is what I would consider perfect and never displayed or played with. Her sleep eyes are perfectly working. She is an excellent doll. Her black pinafore sticks up a bit in the front. The box is numbered 577, and as I found her from a local estate, I do not know if the box is original but appears that she has never left it. She is priced 5.95 on the box and in pencil and someone wrote on her leg in pencil as well- 5.95.
