Madame Alexander Dolls

I just got in a collection from one owner. Her father owned a toy shop in the 50′s. She was very spoiled! This is a 1956 Dress with snaps and Rhinestones. These can be seen in Kiley Shaw’s “The Cissy Files” on p 84. It says that there were an array of fabrics used in 1956 and that these dresses are either HTF or Rare and were Boxed Extras this year. This exact dress is prominently featured in the book. The color is a beautiful. It is in very good, I would say never played with condition. The colors are bright and beautiful and there are no holes or stains and the fabric sits out beautifully. It’s a lovely dress that will look wonderful on your Cissy! VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL DRESS Vintage pink floral Madame Alexander Cissy doll dress NO TAG with attached rhinestones and flower on the bodice (please see photos) There are square snaps in back for closure and one snap will need sewing. The dress has never been washed. The short sleeves are straight cap styles sleeves. The dress is pink, with blue and darker pink flowers, with green leaves and stems.
