With it comes perfect nylons, black Cissy shoes and original hat for the outfit. The shoes are black slip onsl and the hat’s gold elastic is stretched, but can be easily replaced. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Dress. If Cissy needs to go to the store in style, this is the dress to go in! Crispy blue and white dot Swiss organza with wonderful details like fastenable front buttons, a lined bodice and delicate lace trim make this a girls go to when she has to go to town! This beautiful dress comes with a matching hat, shoes and undies. The hat is in good condition with the exception of the seam and brim where they meet separating and needing a strand of thread to reattach them together. An easy fix if you are handy with your needle. Shoes are good, too, with the exception of that elastic, unless its supposed to be wrapped around her ankle, in which case, its the right length and is fine. For Easter, a gorgeous LE Modern Cissy doll, number 135 of 350 (see photo) redressed in a OOAK handmade pink dotted Swiss walking suit with matching full length skirt with train, flounced bustle jacket, shoulder shawl with ribbon trim and ties, and parasol. This doll stands 21 inches tall. She is the modern Cissy with twist waist, exquisite grey radial eyes and fabulous eye make-up , rosy cheeks, red lips and wonderful blonde updo hair in a riot of tight curls on the top of her head. She has the number of her edition on the back of her waist — she is number 135 of the 350 of this particular doll made. The fitted jacket features elbow length sleeves trimmed in lace , tiny round ball glass buttons all down the front (with hidden snaps beneath to close the fitted jacket), lace trim all way round the wonderful bustle at the hips, with long trailing pieces down the back. The A line skirt fits her fabulously well — snaps at the waist and has a long floor length train that processes behind her as she walks. The skirt is slightly higher in the front for ease of walking. Her beautiful pink satin high heel shoes with clear heels can be seen peeking out beneath her skirt. I have added a very full vintage, tiered ruffled slip edged in chiffon to give fullness to her skirt. She has light pink seamed thigh high hose and handmade beige lace panties with a tiny rosette. She wears a handmade period bra and that fastens with three tiny hooks and eyes and has white satin straps; see photo. She wears faux pink pearl drop earrings and a vintage necklace with a pink celluloid rose cameo over a metal religious medal base. The chain necklace fastens easily around her neck with a magnetic clasp! I have added this amazing RICHARD ORIGINAL pink fascinator hat to this gorgeous doll, as her crowning glory. It fits her head perfectly. The black elastic holds the hat in place on her cascading blonde curls. It is a wonderful hat, with dotted tulle that struts, blush rose peach pink chrysanthemums and rhinestones. The cape I put around her shoulders was the original hat that came with the outfit, but I prefer the gorgeous fussy hat by RICHARD, so put this other hat around her shoulders like a shoulder cape — and tied it snug under her beautiful bosoms to highlight her elegant figure. This lovely doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a fabulous Easter gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. No props in the photos are included in this listing. Featured here is an exquisite Madame Alexander 1949 Lucy Bride Doll in her original ivory satin gown, with long tapering sleeves and a drop waist, and rhinestone bodice. IT has a lovely square neck edged in lace, with slightly puffed sleeves at the shoulders. It snaps down the back and is TAGGED with the fabric Madame Alexander Doll Co. She has her original tiny white bead necklace, her original ivory satin snap shoes, back seamed hose, and lace trimmed satin panties. Her gown has an underskirt or slip sewn to it at the drop waist for fullness. NOTE: This doll is missing her original veil, but I have put vintage fabric flowers at her temples in the same place and style as the original doll’s head decor. She also carries an added vintage satin hand basket with satin ribbon handles and trailing fabric flowers and satin ribbons. It can be carried nicely in either hand or over her wrist. This doll has the suntan body of the early Madame Alexander Margaret dolls; she has her dark brunette hair done up in its original set, pulled back in tight curls behind her ears and along the back of her neck. She has wonderful open and close eyes, painted eye brows, all her eye lashes, full painted lips and rosy cheeks. The “Margaret” faced dolls are some of the most beautiful made by Madame Alexander, in my opinion. This doll has flat feet, not “high heel feet” and poses nicely in a doll stand. A doll stand will be included so that she is ready for display. This doll has been kept in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home, in a doll cabinet. She shows no sign of any sun fading. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. Featured here is an exquisite vintage Madame Alexander Elise Bride Doll, a beautiful blonde with shining flip curls in their original set and short waved bangs. She stands just over 15 inches tall with her veil. She is dressed in her original tiered lace ruffled gown which is TAGGED at the back ; see photos. S he has a wonderful long cathedral length veil with lace trim and a lace and tiny pearl trimmed cap. There is a beaded flower in pearls at each side, at the temple. The bridal cap is edged in pleated chiffon, a lovely vintage feature on this doll’s outfit. She has her original satin high heels; her original pantyhose split so they will not be included. NOTE: The bridal veil, satin panties and slip are all edged in the same PLEATED CHIFFON and match. The cathedral length veil, panties and slip are all ORIGINAL to her 1960s bridal doll attire. This doll can be displayed with the long veil flowing back behind her, or pulled over her head to the front — to show off to advantage the beautiful fabric flowers across the back of her lovely blonde wig. I have added a necklace of vintage graduated pearls to her bridal outfit and she has pearl drop earrings. She has a large satin bow at her waist in the front of the gown. I have also added a very full, very stiff vintage double layer lace and tulle slip to her outfit; it has an elastic at the waist and makes her very long, very full skirt display beautifully. This doll has the Madame Alexander “Marybel” Elise face with rosy cheeks, peach lips and beautiful mouth that is slightly turned down at the corners. She has fingernail polish in peach that matches her lips. She has painted two-stroke light brown brows, and all her brush dark eyelashes. She has open and close radial eyes in hazel blue grey. Her eyes are very clear with no “smokiness” from age at all. This doll’s wig is amazing; it is a burnished shining blonde, with tight curls in their original set all way round her head. She has short wavy blonde bangs. Her wig is double stitched at the crown of her head. Her body is the original vintage MA Elise multi-jointed body with joints at the ankles, knees, hips, neck and shoulders. She has wonderful even body coloring, no fading or yellowing or deep pink hue that some of these vintage dolls can get. I have had this doll stored in a darkened doll room inside a closed glass case, so she is very clean. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. I add box supports, air pillows, and bubble wrap to protect them in transit. Offered here is a beautiful vintage 1940s Madame Alexander Margaret doll with the suntan body and complexion and her original blonde mohair wig with bangs and curls, and the original hair barrettes and large pink satin bow pinned in her hair. She stands 14 inches tall. She has her original cotton slip trimmed in vintage lace with attached panties, with pink bows and lace t. He leg elastic has stretched from age. This doll’s hair is a wonderful sunshine yellow blonde, with tiny curls across the back and framing her face. She has wavy blonde bangs and her original gold barrettes on both sides of her head at her temples. NOTE: A friend who is a doll expert told me that she believes this is the Princess Margaret doll made in 1948 or 1949, a little blonde with suntan body dressed in her original pink dress and slip and panties and shoes, only missing her apron from the original outfit. She is dressed in her original vintage very soft pink taffeta dress, with puffed sleeves trimmed in lace, a circular boat collar also edged in vintage ivory lace, and a pink satin ribbon tie around her waist. This vintage dress has a vintage soft white cotton slip and matching attached panties or bloomers, also edged in vintage lace. The panties have tiny pink bows sewn on them that match the pink ribbons in her mohair wig. She has her original black patent looking ankle strap shoes with their original tiny black bows on the toes and rayon anklet socks. She has a lovely vintage Madame Alexander pink sequin purse on a gold chain over her left arm; this little purse opens. On her left wrist there are a couple tiny lines in her doll finish, perhaps from where the purse chain rubbed. It is very minor but I did want to mention it. She has the gorgeous SUNTAN body finish and very rosy cheeks and rosebud red lips, wonderful blue green eyes and all her dark, full lashes, and painted light brown brows. NOTE: A previous owner has hand sewn the name’Mary Elaine’ on the little slip in blue embroidery thread. It can be turned to the back or left in the front. It is most likely the child’s name who owned this doll originally. This sweet little doll is all dressed up and ready for a wedding, for Church or for a special birthday party or afternoon tea! This doll has no “old doll” offensive odor and shows no sign of any sun fading. She has been kept in a display cabinet in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in their boxes in transit. Beautiful Cissy doll wearing her tagged HTF green dress with original shoes and crinoline. The hat is an extra–I don’t think it’s MA or vintage but it looks similar to the white cloche she wears with the dress sometimes, so I’m including it. Also included are a pink polished cotton bra and panty set. She has beautiful thick auburn hair with vintage bobby pins holding her curls behind her ears. She has no odors but has a slightly darker area on her wrist where she must’ve worn a bracelet that perhaps rusted. It might come off, but I didn’t try. She has no other damage. The dress is really really special. It’s hard to find in green and it’s in excellent condition with no holes or tears, and appears unwashed. There is an area in the bodice seam (see second to last pic) with lighter thread than the dress. It doesn’t look stitched or repaired–is it frayed perhaps? It’s almost undetectable–but the picture shows the area so please see that for more information. Includes her Madame Alexander vintage crinoline slip and shoes!!
