Gorgeous vintage 14 Marme doll. Eyes open and close as they should. She is super clean. No bad or sour smells. She has a small area on the right side of her head where you can see her scalp. I dont think this is a bald spot. I think the scalp is visible because if the way her hair is styled. So I believe all hair is present. I think her hair in the back should be covering the spot but its not. You can see that the hair is pulled back a little further on that side in the photos. Here is a gorgeous vintage 14 Polly Pigtails. She is super clean. Are in excellent condition. Except for her shoes. They are missing the bows. She is all original. Has no bad or sour odor. Eye will only close halfway and her right eye will. Not close as all. Theyre not completely stuck. Because they will move a little bit. Wont close all the way. We are a smoke free home. Up for your consideration is a vintage 14 Madame Alexander Little Women Marme Doll. She is a strung doll. She holds her pose well. She has sleep eyes that open and close freely. She has a wig cap that is in good shape, but does have dust that needs to be cleaned as shown in photos. She is a hard plastic doll. Clothes are original to her except maybe the black lace shawl. I believe that is just something thats been added to her. Her dress is tagged. It has some fade spots on her dress, also as shown in photos. Her shoes are missing. She does not come with the stand. Coloring is high and clear. Please look over the photos and use the “zoom in” option to check over the pictures, as they are part of my description. This is a wonderful 1953 Strung alexanderkin wendy in a red vinyl case with assorted clothing, hats, and accessories. Wendy has no splits or discolorations. Her wig has a few flyaways. None of the clothing is tagged. It is all in nice condition except the yellow striped dress. She wears excellent top stitch shoes, alexanderkin panties, and a pretty dress with lace trim. From my personal collection, I have always loved this sweet Wendy. Her hard to find original ponytail wig is shiny and in the original set with original ribbons. She has a beautiful face, nice cheek color, flutter sleep eyes, and a wonderful soft expression. Her body is nicely strung with no splits or cracks. She does have some dark marks on her legs that I have never tried to remove. Wendy wears a Tagged Organdy dress in excellent crisp condition and Kins panties. She also has top Stitch pink shoes and rayon socks. Shoes are not perfect, see photos. Straps and snaps are strong, wear looks worse in magnified photos! A beautiful doll for your collection. This is a RARE C1940 Madame Alexander Madelaine du Bain Doll Strung Composition 15 Inch Wendy Ann. Madelaine is a clean strung all composition doll with the Wendy Ann face. Her stringing is tight and she has brown sleep eyes (crazed) with all her fur lashes. There are painted lashes below her eyes and she has dark eye shadow. Her composition has a little bit of crazing. She has her original blond wig with blue hair bow. Her original dress is tagged Madelaine and includes a blue print skirt with pink roses, and sheer pink top. There is brown age staining mostly to the sides of the skirt with some in front. The pink organdy sleeves have a touch of aging. The ruching on the left sleeve has come apart. She is also wearing short pantaloons with an attached lace-trimmed hoop skirt. The shoes and socks are original with bows to the front of the black leatherette side snap shoes (both shoes are missing parts of the sole and heel). Exceptional strung Alexanderkins in complete outfit for a strung doll. I have heard this called =Easter Colors but not sure if that’s official. It is complete with mint blue top stitch shoes matching the flowers in the original basket and on her hat. The elastic on the hat is perfect. She has very long hair in curly pigtails. Beautiful face with just a spec of lip color missing. One stocking is not as tight as the other. I do not have her shoes snapped but that is only because I choose not to stress them But know they snap perfectly with no problem. Her basket of flowers is almost impossible to find. She is from my collection. She is a very pretty doll. She is 20 tall and is a strung doll (not a walker). She has a “mohair” wig which is in it’s original set. Her coloring is nice and she has all her lashes – I think she is a beautiful doll and I have enjoyed having her in my collection for many years now. She has her “snood” on her hair in back – she was a ballerina when in her original clothes. So – her dress and shoes are not original – panties are missing. The dress is appropriate, although not original. It fits her well and is in crispy like new condition – it has never been laundered and has no stains or flaws.
