VNTG 1953 Madame Alexanderkins Strung Doll Tosca / Lt Auburn Triple Stitch Wig. This 1953 chonky heavy little beauty is in Excellent GORGEOUS condition. Her Tosca color hair is very nice, (looks more red in photos than in real life) She has slightly rosy cheeks still. Her eyes work perfectly. No major stains or splits, her body has some imperfections from original manufacture that look like scratches, but they are not, and normal for this plastic. She is simply GORGEOUS. Stringing is nice, holds a pose well. Pix don’t do justice. Please see all pix as they serve as part of description. All items are listed as-is. Comes from Smoke free home. I forgot to mention there is a small dent that is covered by her hair on left temple. Truly hard to see unless her hair is really pulled back. ” Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander CISSETTE DOLL Original Tagged Outfit MIB “. Madame Alexander high-color Cissette doll with tagged dress, plus accessories. Cissette is 9-1/2 inches tall and has joints at the head, shoulders, hips and knees. She is all hard plastic with original cheek color and pretty rare green eyes. May need a slight nudge…. But only once in a while…. Her tosca wig is in original set, pulled back into curls at the nape of the neck. The red-and-white stripe tagged dress is an early one for Cissette. Trimmed with baby white rickrack & white bow at waist. It is tagged and can be seen in the pictures. She is wearing nylon seamed hose and crisp white taffeta original slip and panties. Black high heels’ Red straw hat with red drops…. She’s so cute on display in her dress and hat, poses well. Comes in original correctly labeled lidded box with original pink tissue.. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Tosca wig, in original style pulled back in curls with. Tagged pink and white striped dress. Pink rhinestone earrings and pink pearl necklace. Pink and gold strappy high heels. Straw hat with silk and velvet flowers. Taffeta petticoat and satin panties. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has tosca hair in the original style with lovely curls pulled to the back, the hair is pined in place with the original barrette across the top. Sparkling blue-green sleep eyes that open and close, hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, red mouth, pierced ears with. Drop earrings and a wired pink pearl. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original pink and white stripe cotton dress, full circle skirt, buttons up the front, short puff sleeves. Underneath she wears a crisp white taffeta slip with net flounce, stain. The shoes are original pink. High heels with gold straps. The woven hat is vintage 50s. With silk and velvet flowers, pink silk ribbon. Cissy is carrying her pink sequin purse with chain handle. Vintage Madame Alexander Nurse 8 Wendy-kins 1964 #660 bent knee. The babys arms are broken. Can possibly be fixed but Im unsure. The box has some imperfections, see pictures. Cissette is very nice, not mint, played with and displayed doll. She has triple stitched wig and nice face coloring. Her knees and hip joints work well. Her dress is blue taffeta with organdy sleeves and inserts. No tag or sash. The dress is in good condition, not mint. It has a 3 snap closures. It has had repairs to seams. It has been ironed and has shiny parts in the taffeta. Her hat is not an original Cissette hat but a vintage replacement. Her shoes are vintage Cissette. The elastic is loose. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Tosca hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged red dress with white trim. Taffeta slip, red horsehair hat, red. & red high heel shoes. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has tosca hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, the hair is pretty smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. Tagged, it is red with white trim, circle skirt, buttons in the front and a square snap. She has a taffeta slip with lace edge, red taffeta panties, red molded plastic high heels with bows on the toes and a the most adorable red horsehair hat with flocked flowers on top. She is clean and has no odors, stains, or chews. She has a gorgeous face and lovely eyes, but she has a few issues. Her wig has been retied up on the sides at one time. The hair on the front of the wig and in the side tie ups is very stiff and cannot be recombed or restyled. I believe this was because she had a break in her wig center seam and someone sprayed it to prevent hair loss. Some separation of the wig at the temples. The top knot and the back of the hair are not sprayed and I have combed it back into curls. She has new blush added. But all other face makeup is original. Her eyes are original and have full lashes. She has nice arms with no rips in the sockets. Body is also very nice with little joint rub. She has had a repair to the bottom of the right leg. Restrung lower leg, as the original metal spring was broken. It is a nice repair, but it is not as tight as the metal spring was. It is not floppy however. Small surface hairline opening in the top surface of the inside of that same knee. It does not go through, and in my opinion is very stable. Not a perfect doll by any means, but with a crown or a hat on her wig issues could be concealed, and she poses very nice. She has earring holes. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way.
