Scarlett wears a plush green velvet gown with braid trim, topped with a matching bustle-length jacket with braid and ecru lace ruffles. Her velvet bonnet has feather and rosebuds. She is wearing high heeled sandals and nylon stockings under her petticoat, along with ribbon and lace-trimmed pantaloons. Her jewelry consists of an emerald green pendant and diamond-like earrings. This pretty Two piece set is a factory original for Madame Alexander’s 1950s 20 Fashion doll named Cissy. The doll is approx. Please look at all the pictures. My wife picked up this doll at a local sale with some other Madame Alexander dolls. She has not tried to clean the doll in anyway. This doll looks like it was never played with. The doll comes in her “Cissy” tagged original Black Velvet dress, slip, pantyhose, shoes, jewelry, original wrist tag, etc… This doll is gorgeous, my wife collects dolls and was very tempted to keep her for herself. Her eyes open and close with no problems, all of her eyelashes are there. Her body has no cracks. Please look at the pictures to see the whites of her eyes do have yellowing to them but she is still a gorgeous doll. Again, this doll and outfit are gorgeous and would be an amazing addition to your Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy collection. Doll would be a great addition to your collection.
