Her pink CHEEKS HAVE BEEN REFRESHED. Her ORGINAL BLONDE CURLY WIG has been cut short—less noticeable with added PASTEL PINK WOVEN “SWEET SUE” BONNET with NEW FLORALS & RIBBONS—including an extra PINK SATIN & LACE RUFFLE tucked under her brim. This Little Lady is making the best of a “bad hair day”. She wears her ORIGINAL RARE PURPLE FAILLE TAGGED Madame Alexander FITTED COAT with TWO ORIGINAL PEARL BUTTONS. The top button hole has been tied with a purple ribbon because the original top pearl button is missing. I tried & tried to find a replacement button but this tiny size I could not find. Sweet Violet wears her RARE ORIGINAL TAGGED PINK TAFFETA RUFFLED SLEEVELESS dress. A unique ONE-OF-A-KIND VINTAGE LACE PETTICOAT & LEMON YELLOW LACE TRIMMED PANTIES complete her attire. She wears NEW WHITE MESH HOSE with her ORIGINAL DARK PURPLE VELVETEEN SNAP SHOES with tiny violets on the toes! This Beauty has been meticulously cleaned and her original paint refreshed as needed. She had a CHEEK REPAIR DONE too necessitating added “blush” to her right cheek. This Little Lady is NOT MINT BUT STILL VERY MUCH A SWEETHEART! She has chosen a OOAK NEW MINI-ROSE PARCHMENT BOUQUET of lavender, yellow & pink hues. She wears a NEW MINI-RHINESTONE BRACELET! She has been on display in a place of honor in my SMOKE FREE, PET FREE DOLL ROOM protected from sunlight & temperature extremes. I told myself “this is one doll I will never part with” but here she is—listed for a short time. She begged me to be listed because her two best friends, shown in the photos with her, are currently listed—separately. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes. She is missing her socks and does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape with no stains or rips. The dress is not tagged. One of the purple shoes is missing the front flower. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll is in excellent lightly played with condition. There are no splits or marks on the face or body. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged. Beautiful and not often found is 21 Timeless Beauty Violet Cissy from the 2008 Collection. This is a very Limited Edition and this Cissy is No. 63 out of 85 made. I have taken pics of Cissy in her box. I have not removed the white hairnet covering her hair and beautiful face, nor have I removed her from the box. Cissy is dressed in a gorgeous elaborate deep purple dress with sparkles and a gorgeous purple and black long coat with the purple silk lining. She has all her matching earrings and accessories as well as her original stand. She comes with her COA as well as her wrist tag. Beautiful and excellent like new condition. For sale is this darling cute 18 Vintage, Madame Alexander Sweet Violet doll. Her very light cream floral bonnet/hat is still clean, stiff, bright, and vivid as are the original flowers, ball-trim and ribbon attached. Her very crisply tagged blue polished cotton dress is as minty as her bonnet, white lace-edged slip, white lace edged, bow-trimmed panties, white socks, and perfect velvety shoes, and flawlessly fuzzy soles. Her blonde curls are still fairly stiff in it’s original set. Her eyes are that DEEP Sweet Violet blue, her lashes are full, and her eyes open and close as they should. Her lips and brows are lovely. Her blushing is beautiful as well, though it may have been re-freshed (before I ever had her), and it appears as though she has a tiny hairline crack, or perhaps a scrape on her chin. It is very hard to photograph, and not super noticeable in person, but I’m just trying to mention as much as I can. She comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Up for sale is this amazing near mint 18 Vintage Madame Alexander Active Miss (same body as Sweet Violet). The active miss and sweet violet dolls have different bodies than the other Madame Alexander dolls. They are jointed at the wrists, elbows and knees, and all of her joints work well. Their eyes are a lovely deeper blue than other Madame Alexander dolls. This active miss is in extraordinary condition. She is wearing her crisply tagged party dress of pink organdy, white lace trim, and pink satin ribbon sash. She has a perfect lace trimmed slip with matching panties, also trimmed in lace and adorned with little pink bows. Her white socks and black patent leather side snap shoes are flawless as well. Her pink bonnet is trimmed with lace, ribbon and stunning original flowers. There are a few tiny spots of discoloration from age. As for the doll herself, she is breathtaking. Her eyes are that deep blue, eyelashes thick and long. Her original eye-shadow, brows, blushing and lips are all stunning. Her hair is in nearly perfect original curls.
