1950 21 Maggie Walker! This beautiful Maggie is wearing her complete original tagged outfit! Other than a slight fade on part of the bodice & on part of the right front skirt pleat, and as you can see this doesn’t at all distract from how well she shows off!! this dress is in beautiful condition. Cute white ric-rac & lace trim at the neckline are the perfect touches, and a deep pleat down the skirt at center front is a welcome addition, all tucked together with a wine-colored faux-suede belt. Closure is at the back with four white buttons. Underneath Maggie wears bloomers that match her dress, and she loves to show off her coordinated wine-colored center snap faux-suede shoes! Her nylon socks are never before worn originals. Completeing her outfit is a very cute vintage four leaf clover necklace with a blue rhinestone center, a vintage pearl bracelet, and Maggie’s vintage original pink beauty box with a comb & curlers inside. Lightly written on the back side of the box is “Dearest From Santa Claus”. This is one spunky Maggie! She has perfect features, and her blush has been refreshed. She has a very thick dark blonde wig with lots of curls tied up with a ribbon & framing her face. Riginal box in fair/poor condition. Doll has play wear including scratches , scuffs , surface dirt , uneven and blotchy skin tone on legs and torso mostly. Replaced dress, shoes and socks I’m pretty sure are original the shoes may have been white at one time. She has tinted painted nails I believe factory. Eyes open and close freely more on the blue side in shade I’m not sure if she has the flirty side to side eyes unless there’s a trick to make them move. I have taken some pics of what I can see on the inside of this doll she appears to be a walker with strung arms and a rod running to the legs now this is the first of this kind I’ve seen for myself I have mostly ideal playpals so I’m not sure how the Alexander doll operates or if anything is missing replaced or broken which is why I included what I can see inside the doll. Beautiful Madame Alexander Alexander-Kins. #574 Wendy Bent Leg Walker Tosca Hair Alexander – Kins. Eyes seem to be black and open and close freely. Legs move as her head turns. Outfit tagged (there are 2 tags not sure why) , complete, no wear, but her sailor hat has some moth damage. (I will try to picture) Tosca hair with curls. White shoes and white socks. Description of doll states Wendy is dressed casually in Basque type shirt, worn with pleated skirt and French sailor hat. Doll has not been used or played with – she has been stored in this box for 50 – 60 years and needs a new home. The back of her dress and hat is a bit flat from being in the box. This a beautiful vintage Binnie Walker for your collection. She is 23 tall. She is wearing her tagged Binnie Walker outfit. It has no stains, but the sleeves on the jacket and the hat have dust marks and it needs to be washed. The seam at the shoulders is also pulled as shown. The rest of the outfit and the doll are near mint condition. She has no stains, cracks or odors. Hair is in the original set and is full. She has fantastic color through out with nice rosy cheeks and knees. Nice clear eyes with all lashes. The lady never played with her dolls. I will say that her head is loose, I did restring it as it was off, but it just does not have that original factory rubber band. Her knees are also a bit loose. They don’t want to stay standing up. Lastly, the eyes only sleep with assistance. The box is okay. It is missing a lot of the side pieces on the lid and the bottom has wear. It is marked Binnie so it is the correct box. From My Personal Collection. DESCRIPTION: This is an original Madame Alexander Joanie playpal sized doll. She has very little uneven skin tone. Uneven skin tone is typical with Madame Alexander dolls. I have added a little color to her cheeks which can be washed off with soap and water. Her brunette hair is clean and uncut. Her green flirty (they move side to side) sleep eyes open and close and she has all of her eyelashes. Her arms are strung and she has the walker legs. This doll is very clean and ready to display. As with most vintage dolls there are a few light scratches on her body. She is marked ALEXANDER 1959 on the back of her neck. You will receive Joanie wearing her vintage pink organza party dress with black flocked flowers. She will also arrive with new panties, new black patent leather doll shoes, new socks, and a hair bow. Under her dress she is wearing a pink full slip with petticoat netting which I made for her to add fullness. My home is smoke free. I have not removed her hat. It is tied and pinned on. Wrist tag states she is a Wendy – Ann Walker and that you can Wash Comb and Curl her hair. Tag is tied on with a pink string and is in excellent condition. Doll has not been used or played with – she has been stored in this box for 50 – 60 years and needs a new home. The back of her dress is a bit flat from being in the box and the front of her blue organdy pinafore is slightly folded. Her Pink dress and the blue pinafore have a small stain as seen in the last picture. I have not tried to get it out. Box is in great stored condition and includes the neck brace.
