Cissy is truly a vision in yellow tulle, as sweet as lemon, meringue pie. Her gown is mint (no holes, vibrant in color), as well as her gold foil high heel shoes! NO touch-ups, beautiful matte complexion with deep cheek coloring. She has original beautiful coloring on the palms of her hands too, as well as on her knees. Wonderful wispy, thin painted eyebrows and hints of dark Smokey eye shadow. Her lemon yellow gown is enhanced with a square, softly, pleated collar with a flower corsage on either side! Her net tulle, pleated, Cumberbun is accented with a cascading corsage! The flowers have the original staples and thin wire to hold it in place. Theres a 4, square snap closure in the rear. Her gown is completely lined in stiff, yellow organdy! Her gown is vibrantly tagged, Cissy, Madame Alexander, on the inside, rear, petticoat seam. Her lemon yellow, stiff, crinoline, petticoat has a wide, ruffled, Val lace flounce on the inside. It has another layer of overlapping, ruffled, yellow net tulle matching her gown exactly! Pristine, yellow, taffeta panties with Belgium Val Lace trim! Original, tear-drop, diamond earrings and diamond, stud bracelet! Mint, original gold high heels in un-stretched condition! I never kept this doll on a doll stand. Original, sexy, back-seam, hosiery in excellent condition! Cissy carries a stunning RTRORICH, Lucite purse! There is no doll included. The dress is yellow with vertical floral strips at the top of the dress and horizontal floral strips at the bottom of the full skirt. It also has 3 rows of small green rick rack at the bottom. There are 4 snaps that fasten in the back along with a pretty yellow ribbon around the waist. It is beautifully decorated with lace around the neckline and arms. There are also 5 rhinestones on the front that are in excellent condition. There are 3 in the body portion and 2 in the neckline. There is no fading, no stains, no holes or tears in the dress or lace. Also included is a stiff petticoat to help hold the dress out. The only thing that would improve this dress is a light washing and pressing. 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 tall Cissy doll. She is wearing a long flowing yellow dress with matching jacket that has shiny gold trim-this is an original Cissy outfit with label still attached. There are noticeable areas of staining on the dress and jacket. She has light brown hair with bright blue open and close eyes and vinyl jointed knees and elbows. The doll is good condition and has been in storage for many years. Face has soiling and staining most noticeable around the nose and a spot on the forehead. Head, arms, legs, knees and elbows still move well. Legs have soiling and discoloration as does the upper chest area. Marked Alexander on the back of the head at bottom. Foreign according to country. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Doll Dress Yellow Sundress Rhinestone Bodice. DOLL IN PHOTOS IS NOT INCLUDED. Fits 19-20 inch doll. Missing one side of one snap in the back. Blue ribbon sash is loose on one seam, and is also very worn. Very clean, no odors. Could use some ironing. Has some fading to fabric in the front, probably from the sun. Has a couple of pin point brown stains. Other than the tiny stains, no other staining noticed. No thinning or raveling of fabric. Dress is yellow and white pinstripes. Fabric has vertical lines woven into fabric. No damage to lace collar. Revision: Lace on collar does have some damage–two little holes on the back right side, you can see the damage in the photos of the back. She is strung nicely and hold position. There are no cracks or stains – she is a very nice doll. An early example of the Alexander-kins line. She wears a yellow dress – no problems and is tagged. She has a beautiful bonnet of lace and a white organdy and lace pinafore. Her under clothes are MA vale lace and organdy panties and slip. She has rayon socks and white top stitch fuzzy bottom shoes.
