RARE 1956-57 VINTAGE 8 MADAME ALEXANDER BKW ALEXANDER-KINS WENDY DOLL. This doll is all original. Her blue and pink flowered short sleeved dress with lace trim at the sleeves and neckline is tagged “Alexander-kins”. The material used for this dress is the same material that was used for the 1956 #630 doll on page 42 of the Crowsey Book. I will include the doll stand. If you have any questions, please ask. The Lady In Red. This stunning lady (#2285 from 1958) is known to many as The Lady In Red, and this near mint example is a very special Cissy… Her crisply tagged heavy taffeta gown is flawless, except for one pinpoint size dark speck on the bottom left side of the skirt. Her original tulle shawl has two small holes amid all the folds behind the original silver star pin, and this obviously! Is an “invisible” flaw! Cissy wears the original red taffeta slip, and underneath her original hosiery & silver sandals. This Cissy did NOT originally wear a bracelet, but I added this vintage pearl bracelet to compliment her original choker and earrings. It seems some LIRs had a clear rhinestone ring, others a red one… This ring is clear, but I have the vintage red rhinestone ring should you prefer it. Cissy has gorgeous features & all original coloring. Her dark blonde wig is perfection, thick with stacks of curls unique to this wig. She had a very small, narrow separation at the top of her right hip, inside her body cavity, which has been professionally repaired. Also, which is ironically further proof your LIR is original! Cissy has some light red staining on parts of her torso, a result of over 60 years in her beautiful gown. Cissy has crystal clear very-blue eyes with full lashes, and no splits, cracks or odors. WENDY LOVES BAMBI #48710 WAS PRODUCED FOR A VERY SHORT TIME AND WENDY, BAMBI, AND THUMPER ARE AN ADORABLE, VERY RARE DISNEY TRIO! I have to say this doll has to be one of my absolute favorites from the Alexander Doll Company. Wendy is perfectly dressed for the autumn season wearing an adorable green jacket with a multicolor silk dress underneath accented by a coral collar and ruffled edge on her skirt. An orange pom-pom decorates her maroon knit hat and her dark blonde braids are fastened with green satin bows. She has gorgeous brown eyes, just the sweetest face, and of course she comes with her friends Bambi and Thumper. She also has knees that bend for easy posing. SIMPLY DARLING AND A VERY RARE DOLL SET! She will arrive complete in excellent condition in her original box with her wrist tag attached. Ffered here is a vintage Madame Alexander Limited Edition Cissy Doll, Heiress Elegance, # 42700 Model number from 2006. She is #59 of 100 mad. E — her number is printed in felt point on one of the tags on her coat; see last photo. It is a bit blurry, the felt point ink has run a little on the satin tag. But you can make out the number. This elegant Limited Edition Cissy Doll has the wonderful elbow joint and twist waist, as well as the other shoulder, hip and knee joints. So she can hold wonderful poses seated or standing. She has a dark brunette wig with straight bangs. Her beautiful wig had red highlights. She comes with her original dangle crystal earrings and necklace. I have added the modern gold wire rim glasses — they look really cute on her. I also added a sweet teal and gold purse to match her outfit , with a pearl handle. She wears her original long light green body suit/hose and light blue leatherette shoes, with beading and ribbon trim. Her elegant long brocade coat has overstitching on the big flowers in the print and is trimmed in an olive green ribbon on each sleeve and down the long front. The coat, including the roll up sleeves, is fully lined in a beautiful turquoise satin. She has a long soft chiffon skirt that matches her stockings perfectly. Her bodice beneath the coat is beautifully beaded. This is a “Couture doll” in the MA Couture Collection. This doll has the most exquisite face, with burgundy lipstick to match her painted nails, and rosy cheeks and gorgeous big grey blue steel colored radial eyes. They sparkle and show no sign of any dullness! Her eye make-up is very dark, painted above and below her eyes, with painted brows and she has full brush eye lashes — none missing. This elegant MA Cissy doll is from my personal collection. She has been kept only on display (and never played with) in a darkened doll room and shows no sign of any fading. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. NOTE: No props in the photos are included in this listing. The doll CHAIR is NOT included, nor is the doll stand. If you have one Queen in your collection, she doesn’t get any more regal than this! This is a very hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation doll circa 1957. She has a special side part tosca wig that is only found on this doll! She is in wonderful condition and has just been refreshed at Cissy’s Secret Spa, including restringing and blush. Her hair is in its original set. Her coloring is excellent, with original blushing at hands and knees. She has original full lashes and her green eyes open and close with ease. Her stunning gold brocade, tagged, gown is fabulous and correct for this doll! She has the rare slip that was only featured for this gown as well. She has her original panties, stockings and shoes, although the elasticity is showing age as to be expected. Amazingly, she still dons her original gauntlets, bracelets, and precious crown. I’ll include a little lucite purse I made especially for the Queen. The only issue I can find is that she has a slight pinkishness around her waist, but it’s really minor. She’s very clean and free of splits and cracks. Just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. All Cissy’s Secret items are from a non smoking, spotless studio. Props are not included. This listing is for the beautiful Sleeping Beauty doll in her original box with tissue paper! Only issued in 1959 and rarely found in this 20 size. I have decided to part with her as I just haven’t been able to display her as she deserves. Sleeping Beauty is in beautiful un-played with condition. Her outfit is in excellent condition and I believe retains all the original accessories! Doll is stunning, beautiful facial coloring. Clear eyes, clean body with no cracks or splits that I can see. (I will not remove her clothing as I do not think it’s ever been removed) Her stringing is good, arms are the one piece type, not jointed at the elbows. Her hair is bright and maintains it’s original set beautifully! The heavy slipper satin dress has begun the fading process which happens to these dolls but the affect is actually kind of pretty! I do not see any issues or markings on the dress. She has her full slip underneath as seen. Original crown has been wrapped in it’s own tissue paper and appears to be mint. Necklace and ring are original and I assume have never been removed. Her beautiful lace cape is present and i don’t think it’s ever been removed either as the tie under the chin is solid and does not look to have been altered or undone. Stockings and gold heels are present and minty. Tissue paper pieces include bottom box layer, a small wadded section which acts as a pillow for her head, the piece which protects the crown, and 2 folded sheets which cover the entire top of the doll. Original cardboard insert is also present. Box shows aging and wear. Several of the corners along the bottom are split but the upward corners appear to be sturdy as they don’t collapse or buckle. Lid is missing one side lip as seen. Original sticker on box is stamped SLEEPING BEAUTY. Original wrist tag still attached to wrist. It is foiled on one side as seen.. Both sides are quite beautiful!
