Vintage 1958 Madame Alexander CISSY Doll #2142 Green Dress Box AUBURN Red MINT. This is a vintage 1958 Madame Alexander Cissy doll She is in mint/near mint condition in outfit #2142 with a Madame Alexander box (very worn and seems a bit small, so may not be original to the doll) This gorgeous Cissy stands 20″, with auburn red hair and clear green/blue eyes, vivid, high color cheeks, vinyl arms with jointed elbows, and a hard plastic body and head with jointed knees and high heeled feet The doll has never been played with, with a perfect face that has vivid coloring and no rubs, no body cracks, stains or damage, no missing eyelashes or cloudy eyes, and her outfit is bright, crisp and clean, with no spots, stains, must, dust, fading, damage or odors; there no tears or runs to her seamed stockings and the elastic is still tight enough on her shoes to stay on (her hair is slightly mussed in back from laying in her box) Her green sheer dress with pink flowers is very spring-like and beautiful, tagged Cissy, and her emerald green ring and “pearl necklace complete her ensemble (a few of pearls are missing their finish) Box is quite worn and is not marked with a name, hair or dress color on the label, and seems a bit small for her but is included A really beautiful Cissy doll for your collection, all dressed up for a spring celebration She is clean, odor-free and comes from a smoke-free home.
