My photos don’t do her justice! Beautiful face with nicely blushed cheeks and desireable “matte” finish complexion. She has more face coloring in person then photos show. Her eyes flutter open and shut with ease. Her honey blonde wig is in the original set / curly side pigtails. She looks equally sweet with or without a hat. BEAUTIFUL TAGGED pink dress with row after row of lace trim! HARD TO FIND PINK matching lace trimmed slip and white taffeta kin panties. Her costume is in excellent condition crisp and bright! White hat is a professionally made “replica” replacement, with vintage velvety flower cluster tucked loosely at side of dolls head. Perfect ivory side snaps and vintage socks. She’s a walker and her walking mechanism works perfectly. Dolls with this type of frilly “little girl” costume are impossible to find… !!! Cissy Dress & Hat. This dress is blue and white striped with a black bow at the neck. It comes with the correct black velvet hat with pink roses. The colors are brighter in person and it is clean just needs a little pressing. So please remember this when leaving DSR ratings. I recently bought these dolls at an estate sale. I really know nothing about these dolls other than one of them is in pieces. The other dolls all seem to be in good order and attached. All the eyes move closed as you lay them down and open as they stood up. All the clothes you see in these photos come with all the dolls. Their hair needs to brushed and the cloths need ironing. Also, one of the naked taller dolls does have some red stains on her plastic body. Ask me any questions you like. Please see all photos as the pictures will be the best description. She is in beautiful condition and has a lovely even skin tone. Her cheeks are nicely blushed and her painting is in lovely condition. Her wig is shiny and nice and tight to her head. The hat is in great shape with no issues to the lace back or netted sides. The hats color has aged some and it is not as white as it once was but there are no stains or holes. The navy blue corded tie is in good condition and is still nice an long. This hat is the perfect thing to complete any of your early Alexander Kins outfits. This is a stunning 1955 Alexander-kins hat for outfits #457 “Wendy Goes To Sunday School” and “Curly Locks” #472. 25 and on outfit #472 in the “World of Alexander Kins” by P. Smith on page 155. The hat is in excellent condition with no issues what so ever. The color is beautiful and the pink flowers are in terrific shape. This is a Madame Alexander 17 Maggie Walker Doll, all original and in her box. She is in excellent condition. She is from the early 50′s and is made pf hard plastic. She has a Fashion Acadamy Award Sticker on the end of her box which Alexander won in 1951. The name of this doll was New York Designer. She comes with her little box of rollers and comb on her wrist. The gold thread attaching to her wrist is new. She comes with a little booklet that shows all the fashions available for her at the time. Her clothes are all original and in excellent condition. She has sleep eyes with all of her lashes intact. There are no smears in her lips. She still has cheek blush. There are a few hair pins in her hair. I don’t know if she came with those. This is a great doll. The box has some stains and the corners are rough with glue in some of the corners. There were a few pieces of masking tape to hold the lid on which I took off. This beautiful Madame Alexander portrait doll is called Pink Champagne. She comes in her original box. I understand she is from the 1951 series. She is also known as the Arlene Dahl portrait doll. She has red hair and green eyes. Her dress is not tagged, but it is original. The flowers on her dress are in lovely condition. Her shoes may not be original and she has no stockings. The box says she is a 21 doll, but I measured her at 20. Her dress, panties, necklace, earrings, shoes and hair net are all in good condition. She has some finish loss on her finger tips, a spot on the top of her right forearm, the tops of her thighs on the back of her legs, and the top of her shoulders (see photos). Her sleep eyes dont automatically open, you have to open them for her. Her face paint is in good condition, and she has all her eyelashes. Her hair is in great condition. Her joints are tight. She is in good condition for her age and would be a great addition to your doll collection. She comes from a smoke free home. Check out my other vintage doll auctions. VINTAGE 1950′s Madame Alexander 8 Wendy kin or Alexanderkin 5-Piece Outfit #341 – Crisp, Never Washed – Excellent Overall (See Description & Photos for Details) – Tagged. Previously Owned & Used. Sweet Vintage 8 MA Alexander kin or Wendykin Doll Outfit Includes Dress, Matching Panties, Pinafore, Hat – Sweet Set – USED. We are offering a very pretty 1950′s Madame Alexander vintage doll outfit #341 according to the references we checked. This outfit includes the dress, matching panties, pinafore, hat & tiny basket with flowers (missing its tiny handle) original to this outfit. We acquired several Ginny and MA outfits we will be offering in the next few weeks so please check our auctions often. Please Note: This outfit is used but still in very nice overall condition in our opinion, never washed, never ironed, no stains, no repairs, still crisp and bright (see details below). The dress closure in back is two square snaps. There are no stains, no repairs and still has a nice feel and the sheen this material retains when never washed or ironed. The elastic in the sleeves may have relaxed slightly but not bad at all in our opinion (see photos). Matching panties have no stains and are the same color but as you can see the elastic in waist and legs has relaxed a bit and we’ll leave any tightening or adjustment decision up to the new owner. The tie around pinafore is beautiful with floral print and white background & accent trim of aqua rickrack. It is crisp, clean and we see no stains or issues; never washed. The original white faux straw hat to this outfit retains the original white floral trim (see photos); flowers may be slightly dingy, we are not sure as we had never had this outfit before and are not avid Alex collectors; you collectors would know. Hat is overall still pretty white with no obvious dark marks/obvious stains. There is a tiny basket of flowers that is original to this outfit according to the references but the tiny handle is gone; probably could easily find a piece of wicker strip to reattach (basket is tiny). This is one of the prettiest combination dress and pinafore set as it is so bright and cheery and one that would look adorable on any of your 8 Alexander kins. If you loves blues, this one may be for you and one you just don’t see offered often. This would most like fit any of the 8 competitor dolls too if you just love it but didn’t have an Alexander to wear it. Please bear in mind that these items were made as “play things” and may have minor factory flaws that are in the making and not due to play or misuse. We have tried to point out everything but please study the photos closely as well. A sweet TAGGED outfit for a nice Alexanderkin or Wendykin but also most likely would fit other 8 competitor dolls too. If you don’t have to have truly mint in box and untouched this might be a nice outfit to consider. Other than the chin strap and panty elastic being relaxed some (but stay up when doll is on a stand without alteration) many might consider this excellent plus.
