Here is a near flawless Madame. Alexander hard plastic walker doll. She is in the “Glamour Girl”. Group and she is called. She has a “Maggie” face. She is completely original. She has never been played with. She has all hair. Dress it tagged and she has. He original little round box attached. Her body is super. She has no bad or sour. Her eyes will open and. Close as they should. All her eyelashes are present. Left eylelashes have a couple tiny. Parts in them but they dont. Appear to be missing any lashes. Her dress is in excellent condition. There are no holes or stains. To mention is her dress has a few. Areas where it looks a little. Areas where the pink looks a tiny. Bit darker than other areas. Doll is in excellent condition for. Her age and would be a great addition. We are a clean, smoke free. Unless, I misrepresent something. So, be sure to ask questions before. Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet dolls in their bed. All dolls are composition. All dolls are marked Alexander on their torsos, and “Dionne” Alexander on their heads. The bed is wood. From the estate of a dollhouse museum / children’s charity founder. The composition on all the dolls is good condition. Face paint is good. Appears to be original pillow and cushion on the bed. No repairs or restorations. Clothing all has slight discoloration. All has wear from age. Approximate measurements: all five dolls 7″: bed 19.75″ X 10.25″ X 5″ height at headboard. Items paid for on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will not be mailed until at least Monday. Some items might be unable to be combined. It’s the only one of it’s kind. Madeline doll in her own trunk with a custom wardrobe. Year was 1952 and the clothes were made by the seamstress at my grandmother’s store (Richs in Atlanta). She is fully jointed… She is 16 high. Sadly the clothes over all these many years have signs of damage. I do not know what it is but it looks like rust. Perhaps a dry cleaner would know what to do here. It was always sealed in the trunk so it’s a mystery. Many little accessories including belts and shoes and nylons and even little box of curlers circa 1952. Also purses and wraps and even a fur coat. This doll is very hard to find! Her hair is in perfect condition as shown. I will not be including the trunk because it is very heavy and in bad condition. Madame Alexander Maggie Teennager Blonde Hair 21 Hard Plastic, 1940′s. This lovely Maggie is in excellent condition. The beautiful face is very vibrant. Her blue/hazel eyes are clear, open and shut perfectly, and the eyelashes are full and all present. Maggie’s chartreuse color dress and hair bows are original. The one piece panty/slip, shoes and socks are original as well. The yellow “hand knit” sweater, and vintage straw purse were added. The doll has no spots, odors, cracks, or open seams. These “Dionne Quintuplet” dolls were made by Madame Alexander in the 1930′s!! They are the rare-hard to find 10 composition dolls that have the movable joints. They have the original dresses and bibs with their names-each with their own color weaved in!! The underwear and slips may also be original, but I’m not sure on that! They are marked Madame Alexander on their upper backs and “Dionne” on the back on the neck accept for Emilie-just marked Madame Alex. There are many photos of the actual quints in this book! The dolls have incurred damage, being over 80 years old!! The hair was repainted on two of them where the paint had rubbed off. Some of the heads have some cracking and crazing and there is paint loss and cracking in various areas. The stringing on each is intact!! All of their eyes still open and close! I’ll describe in detail each doll, and you can visibly see in the photos most of it. “Annette”-paint is worn off some in the back of her hair, slight crazing on her head, finger tips worn, paint off big toes and some on legs. “Cecile”-hair has been repainted, paint loss on back of head and neck and ear. Some rubs and paint off toes and fingers and nose. Vertical cracks in eye sockets. “Emilie”-pretty good shape-just a little paint off back of hair on neck, little cracking on toes. “Marie”-light surface crack on one side of face and one on top of head, crazing behind left ear, 1 crack in eye socket. “Yvonne”-has repainted hair and major crack in the head that looks repaired-it’s stable. Lots of paint loss around back of head, some on the arm, legs and toes, as well as tip of nose. Please feel free to request more pictures of any of the dolls, as I could only post 12 pics. Even though these dolls show wear from their age and have been well-loved- they are still really adorable and collectible, and are a great survival!! It’s a wooden vintage baby bed with mattress!
