I always get reflections thru my yellow stained, glass windows, near the high wall, wood, vaulted ceiling. Her dress is vibrantly tagged in the rear, Cissy, Madame Alexander. Her stiff, tight weaved, straw hat is embellished with blue and white velvet, forget-me-nots, as well as millenary flowers, coordinating with her dress! Her hat flips up in the rear and is accented with blue, velvet forget-me-nots. The hat is trimmed with gabardine cord. A straw purse with millenary flowers coordinates with her costume. Super crisp, crinoline, taffeta slip trimmed in highly desirable white ric-rac. Wears original, white taffeta panties trimmed in Belgium Val Lace. Rare, original, powder blue, high heels with powder blue felt inlay. Her straps are crystal blue, shiny, gold, metallic. Listed above is a beautiful 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy bride doll, she is in very. Good pre-owned condition but will need her head restrung in the future. Her hair is a wig. And it needs some grooming/styling, it is in what looks to have been in it’s original style. But due to age and storage needs some help. She is approx 20 tall and has on her original. Bridal gown which is also in very good condition, with a bit of steaming this gown will be very. Nice and full , the slip underneath has the Madame Alexander Cissy tag on it. Seamed stockings and replacement shoes and her earrings and diamond have also been replaced. The earrings are a white pearl and her rings has a Swarovski diamond style stone. Eyes and nice full eyelashes and her sleep eyes work just fine. There is a small split on the left side of. The bodice of her dress and it is right on the seam so it will be very easy to catch, it is approx. Also a tiny little hole along the bottom of the netting (very hard to see). Her train is in nice clean stain. Free condition, the back of her neck is marked Alexander very nice doll for her age. Please message for more pics if you need more. She is a Cissette that was made in the seventies. She looks just the one in my Alexander book except that the crown is different but it is attached to her but I have been advised by another collector that it must be a replacement. I don’t think this doll has ever been played with or undressed. Her dark hair is in the original style and in very good condition. Her sleep eyes work properly and her eyebrows are well defined. She has a billowing crinoline petticoat, white taffeta lace-trimmed panties. Seamed stockings and beautiful shoes. Her gown is blue taffeta and it is lined in white. It also is very full. It has a jacket which fastens at the waist. The gown and jacket are trimmed in black braid. At her waist is a pendant watch. Cissy has a matching bonnet which is also trimmed in black, ties with black ribbon, and has pink flowers, tulle and feather trim. She is wearing black lace mitts, has rhinestone earrings, a ring and she carries a black velveteen and braid drawstring handbag. Her nails are painted a pretty pink. She is rare and wonderful, but there is a problem. When I bought her from the original owner I was well aware of the problem, but it didn’t matter. After all, when would I see another without spending a fortune? So, here goes – someone was painting and neglected to cover her; therefore, there is some white paint on her outfit. The worse one is the one on the front of the skirt which I have shown in my pix. I have shown it both showing and covered in the folds of the gown. There is another on the back of her jacket that is about l/4 in length. I have also shown that. In addition there are a few pinhead size. There are no spots on her bonnet. Perhaps I have made her sound dreadful, but I have had her a very long time and have always been pleased with her. Smoke and pet-free home.
