I have seen this doll a few times with her fingers stained from the paint in production! I have changed her arms , nice and clean! Can u imagine a Bride with stained fingers! I also changed her shoes to a more pretty shoe, see pictures. Her original shoes are included. Her veil is tagged and her dress, shoes, new ones. Here, for your consideration is a 20 inch Cissy from 1957, based on the information in my book. She is called “Black A-Line” Cissy. She is all original wearing her black velvet/velveteen A-Line gown. There is beaded trim at the top. She wears her original earrings, which have turned some from age. She also wears black fingerless gloves. She wears a black slip, black panties, black shoes, with back seam stockings. Her face is absolutely gorgeous with bright coloring. Her head is a little loose. She looks to have all her eyelashes. Her hair is in the original set with the RARE side curls. Her hair is ultra shiny, in my opinion. I see no crotch or knee cracks. She has her original fur stole with the little animal face showing. I have to tell you that age is taking a tole on it. It is shedding pretty badly. I’m sure you can see some on her gown. Also, on the lining in the picture, you can see where someone has tried to do some repair work. If it were me, I would get a vintage Madame Alexander stole that is “fake” fur and use that. Although, of course that is your decision. Notice the blue showing in her eyes. Based on everything I have been told and have learned, this is the original doll in her original gown with matching slip. Cissy does not appear to have any crotch cracks or knee cracks. She seems to have all her eyelashes and her face paint is just beautiful. Her coloring all over is just lovely, in my opinion. This is the way she came to me. Please read description for flaws. This is a hard to find dress made of sheer printed nylon with Val lace trim on bodice, cuffs and collar. Three rhinestone buttons accent the bodice. Four smaller rhinestone studs accent the cuffs. The dress unfortunately has wear, tear and soiling. There is spotting and staining throughout. Lace trim has yellowed from age. There is a tear to the right side of bodice near sleeve seam as well as one on the bottom of the dress. Please see last two photos. The Dress has a Cissy tag which is worn most likely from washing (not by me). The dress most definitely could use a soaking to see if some of the stains would come out. The dress comes with a beautiful pale pink lace and ruffled tulle slip. The elastic waistband is stretched. It really flounces out the dress. Despite all of the flaws of the dress this would still display nicely on your Cissy doll. Comes from smoke and pet free home. Here’s a beautiful Cissy doll in very good condition. She comes wearing an original 1956 tagged navy polka dot skirt with matching blouse. The clothes are in nice condition with no tears, holes or stains. The original roses on the skirt are in fair to good condition. She also comes wearing new panties, crinoline, hose and high heel shoes. This doll has a gorgeous face with perfect coloring……. Red lips, rosy cheeks and eyeshadow. Her original brunette wig is in a very cute bobbed style. Her clear eyes open and close as they should and all lashes are intact. She has a few faint rubs on the neck area and the very tops of her thighs. Her body color is even and she has no cracks or vinyl tears. She is strung well and holds poses nicely. Gorgeous vintage Madame Alexander 18″ all hard plastic “Flower Girl doll in all original outfit. She is a hardly seen, rare special edition from 1954. She is marked “Alexander” on the back of the head. Her strawberry blond wig is glued on, and I believe that makes her a “Winnie Walker” doll with a Cissy face. Her head turns side to side when you move her legs, and she is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Her stringing is tight and the walking mechanism works well. There are no split seams or cracks, and all fingers and toes are intact. She is wearing her original tulle over taffeta lace trimmed gown with matching bloomers, tulle hoop slip, silky socks and original satin shoes with center snaps. The outfit is in very nice condition with no rips, holes or stains, but the hoop on the slip is a bit out of round. The doll and clothing are clean. Her face is exceptionally pretty with good color, and sleep eyes work fine. There is a tiny nick on the tip of her nose, but other than that, no damage to speak of.
