HER BODY HAS BEEN BLUSHED AT THE KNEES AND, OF COURSE, HER COMPLEXION IS VIBRANT AND PERFECT!!! SHE HAS SPARKLING BLUE EYES, ALL LASHES, PAINT AND BRUSH, HER WIG IS PERFECT AND IN A HAIRNET TO PRESERVE. AS YOU CAN SEE, NO CRACKS OR CRAZING, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! SHE WILL LIVE ANOTHER 100 YEARS! FOR HER AGE, HER GOWN IS IN SURPRISINGLY WONDERFUL CONDITION. THE GOWN ON THE DOLL’S LEFT SIDE HAS A VERY SLIGHT PINKISH HUE. I ALMOST MISSED IT AND IT DOES NOT DETRACT FROM HER DISPLAY AS YOU CAN BARELY MAKE IT OUT. SLIGHT PINK ON RIGHT SIDE OF VEIL LACE TRIM. FOR ITS AGE AND DELICACY, IT IS IN WONDERFUL CONDITION. Margaret was a child actress popular in the 1940s. It was said that she could cry on demand. She’s got a sweet little face… A more matted paint than some. I place this doll from 1946-47. She displays well, but has some imperfections. Tiny missing loss of lip paint, easily touched up; faint white mark or loss of blush on cheeks; chipped right index finger; some crazing and color mottling to arms and legs; faint soil marks here and there to the dress (but it’s crisp and un-laundered); holes throughout the lace on bottom edge of dress (they are uniformly positioned, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be there). I can fix some of these issues if you want. Just let me know. I matched the shoe laces since I took the photo here. Ask me any questions you’d like.
