What a GORGEOUS doll! Produced in 1948 & 1949, this beautiful & rare 15 Rosamund variation is rare. I’ve had her in my personal collection for many years, and I was lucky enough to acquire her from the original owner, well protected in her original box! Her lovely tagged costume is in outstanding condition, with only a few tiny breaks in the tulle skirt of the gown. I don’t think I could locate them again if I tried! The pale pink satin bodice is trimmed in ruffled pink tulle, which matches both the gathered straps and the full skirt. There are two layers of tulle in the skirt, the outermost & longest trimmed in pink satin ribbon and decorated with three scattered light pink cabbage roses. The innermost skirt layer is a very lightweight light pink taffeta. Her panties match the underskirt, and close at the back with one square snap. The gown also closes as the back with two square snaps. The original rose & velvet forget-me-not bouquet at the waist is complimented with light blue ribbon, a tiny velvet forget-me-not attached to the bottom of each streamer. Maggie’s headpiece, in perfect condition, is composed of stiff green woven straw. Rosebud trim is fastened. Across the middle, and light pink roses and green leaves decorate each side. She wears her original hosiery & satin center-snap shoes. This is an exquisite doll, with flawless features and all original coloring. Her blonde wig hangs in pretty curls dusting her shoulders, and she has clear blue eyes with full lashes. Maggie has no splits, cracks or odors. Her original box is in fair condition, with some old “tape mending, ” and some pieces torn from the lip of the box lid. NMIB, she doesn’t come along often. DON’T LET HER GET AWAY. Sun Dress of Organdy with val lace on the puffed sleeve and bodice. Rhinestones accent the bodice. This dress came with a floral print and the small bird print. This is the small. Print which is rarer. Very hard to find dress. Also included is the cream lace slip with tight elastic. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy 1959 Decor Queen. Doll is in excellent condition. Her face is beautiful with blue eyes and all lashes. Rosy cheeks and lovely hair. The later Cissy dolls with one piece arms have a tendency toward loose stringing and this girl is no exception. Looser stringing prevents the head and neck splits that occur when bands are too tight. I have tied her ankles together to help with posing. Very small repaired split at knee. She is a lovely Cissy. Her costume is all original and complete with two exceptions: she is missing her crown and her jewelry (earrings, necklace, and ring). She does have an original bracelet and two newer ones. She wears original tagged gown, buckram petticoat, mitts, hose, and panties. There is a light orange discoloration on the right side of the gown at the hip about the size of a nickel and another one about the size of a dime. I have added a photo of these but they fade into the folds of the gown when displayed. The gown may have been cleaned as it seems the lining is a bit longer than the outer fabric in some places. Here’s an original tagged Madame Alexander Cissy dress from the 1950s. It’s the popular yellow flowery taffeta dress with black sash at the waist. The dress is not perfect but displays very nicely. The material is a little faded but is still nice and crisp. There is a tear at the left shoulder. As the photos show, this is hard to notice when the dress is on the doll. The lace around her sleeves may have been white at one time and has now turned beige. I see no holes or stains on the dress. The little black hat is not original to the dress but it is 1950s vintage and matches nicely. It’s decorated with netting and little white cabbage roses. Comes with vintage hatpin. The doll, her hose, shoes, ring and earrings are not included. Also, to achieve the look of a full skirt as shown in the pictures, your doll will need to wear a crinoline. Cissy is a stunner, and shes all ready to dance the night away in a demure pink pleated tulle and taffeta gown with floral, lace, and pearl trim. She has her original gown, undergarments, shoes, and stockings, all in very good condition. Cissy was my late mothers childhood doll, and as you can see, she was only taken out of the box to admire and not for play. She had one owner for all these years, and now we are hoping to find a new owner to love and admire her. She has been kept in storage. As such, there is a bit of dustiness on the dolls arms, a small mark on one calf, and a bit of grayish dust/marking where the neck and head connect (see photos). Additional photos are available if needed upon request. Also, it appears that the wig is pulling away from the head at one temple, but this is barely noticeable. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Dress. If Cissy needs to go to the store in style, this is the dress to go in! Crispy blue and white dot Swiss organza with wonderful details like fastenable front buttons, a lined bodice and delicate lace trim make this a girls go to when she has to go to town! This beautiful dress comes with a matching hat, shoes and undies. The hat is in good condition with the exception of the seam and brim where they meet separating and needing a strand of thread to reattach them together. An easy fix if you are handy with your needle. Shoes are good, too, with the exception of that elastic, unless its supposed to be wrapped around her ankle, in which case, its the right length and is fine. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1952 only vintage Madame Alexander 29 complete soft plastic vinyl and cloth Alice in Wonderland doll. She is stunning and was well preserved by the original owner. She was not a play doll and only a display doll. Her highly blushed cheeks are exquisite and perfectly round. Her hair is long, thick, and set in the original style with only a few fly away hairs you may want to restyle. He eyes are bright, engaging, and unclouded. She appears so fresh, clean, and displayable; she looks like she was made just 10 years ago. Her tagged dress is satiny, clean, and in amazing condition. The sleeve ends are still stretchy. The white apron pinafore is bright, white, and beautiful. She displays perfectly in her custom made, original, and tagged blue dress. Her dress and panties are bright and attractive clothes with well attached snap buttons on the dress. You can see her tights are most likely original- they fit her so perfectly; the waist is still stretchy, and they show no wear, discoloration, or age. Her original shiny black Mary Jane shoes fit her well, and they are totally intact and clean. The bottom of both of her shoes is a soft sole. She was displayed on a chair by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She is free of any odors, issues, or blemishes. Her blonde hair is still tied back in her original bow with a lovely style of long soft curls. Her hair is full and well attached to her wig cap. Her face is an even color with a bright and even blush. Her sleep eyes open and close easily; they are unclouded with totally intact eyelashes. She shows no noticeable age or discoloration. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows no issues or flaws. Her cloth body is sparkling in the condition and absolutely clean and gloroius. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or obvious damage. She does not have any open seams or major noticeable detracting negatives. Her hair is uncut and close to the original style. We listed two other Edith/ Kelly/ Marybel face dolls this week from the same collection. She is truly one of a kind in her condition. Her face is colored exactly the same as her limbs. Her lips and cheeks are highly blushed. Her lips are full and pink. She appears flawless until I really scrutinized her. In one sof the photos you may see several smudges or marks on the left side of her forehead. I did not even notice until my daughter pointed it out. She has a real small minor thinned spot, or hole, on the top of her tights near the waist. The tights are thick and strong, so it does not affect the integrity of her bright white tights. She also has a small smudge or mark on the top back of one of her arms. Thank goodness for the young eyes of our 13 gear-old daughter. She pointed out these little unnoticeable blemishes. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls from an adult lady collector. She is moving and downsizing her vast doll collection. Many of the these dolls are from the 1920s through the 1960s; they may show some minor age for their age because they are between 100 and 60 years of age. Many of these were from the original owner’s collection of displayed, but not played with, dolls. Some of the older dolls were from her mother’s collection. These are all from a pet and smoke free home. They were well preserved with no odors or major issues. Please write with any questions.
