Beautiful 1958 Madame Alexander Cissy lavender Sheath Dress with Overskirt and Hat. The outfit is complete with the dress, hat and overskirt. The dress has a lot of discoloration. The overskirt also has some marks, but shows beautifully. It is mostly lavender with some darker areas. It is still stunning in my opinion. It is a hard to Find outfit. The overdress has the bow with a snap. The tag is in the sheath dress. She comes with the shoes shown, which are very nice 50′s rhinestone heel studded. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. I actually acquired her from the famous baseball player, Phil Rizzuto’s wifes collection many years back. This is Elise Brunette Ballerina with original pink slippers, no outfit unfortunately. She is 15.5 inches tall with original upswept brunette hairdo and flowered garland still in tact. She has a stunning face, great coloring, beautiful, clear greenish sleep eyes, full lashes, ruby red lips. Her body is hard plastic and is marked Mme Alexander on her back See picture. Her arms, and face are a softer plastic. Her arms are articulated and bend at the elbow. Her legs bend at the knee and ankles. She has the Madame Alexander circle on her neck with numbers that look like 1938 but I do not think that is the date I tried to research that but really was not able to find out what I needed. If you have any information, I appreciate it. This is a stunning doll and one I hate to part with Nicer in person. This is a 21 (approximately) Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from 1955 #2051 and has her hand tag. She is dressed in her crisp tagged black taffeta dress with rhinestone brooch at bust line. She has on a replaced shawl but it is from a very long time ago so color has faded. She is in beautiful condition. Comes with pink slip, pink panties(has a small tear see picture)nylons, black strappy heels and replaced bracelet. She carries her plastic handbag filled with a comb and sunglasses. Her blonde hair is in original set with some flyaways and she has her pink hat with flowers and chin strap atop her head, no holes in netting on hat. Her face paint is beautiful with full lashes top and bottom, good brows, rosey cheeks and dark pink coral lips. Stringing seems good and she holds a pose. It is hard to find dolls in this wonderful condition any more. I have had her in my collection for a very long time. She is over 60 years old but doesnt look it. She is all composition and is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She has clear blue sleep eyes with thick brush lashes, grey eye shadow, single stroke eyebrows, painted lower lashes, bright cheek blush and closed pouty mouth. She is a “Wendy face” Alexander doll with. Original blushing on her hands and knees. Her thick raven human hair wig is styled. In curls pulled away from her face and is in the original set. This was one of My Mother’s Original Dolls. It has been packed away for many Years. It is an Original 1958 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll #2230. The doll was never played with. Her Auburn hair is in the original set with her hairnet on the back. Her Blue eyes open and close easily with Full Lashes. Her Face is Beautiful with original Cheek blush and lip paint. She has her Sparkling Rhinestone Earrings and Ring on her finger. Her Hat has Tulle, 5 Pink Roses, and a small green velvet bow on the back. Hat has the original hat pin. Her Dress is Tagged Cissy. It is a light Pink/Peachy color and has small Flocked Flowers. Sweetheart Taffeta lining in the bodice, Trimmed in Lots of Lace. Rhinestone buttons down the front, and rhinestones on the cuffs of sleeves. Her half slip is Flocked and Scalloped. The elastic is stretched in the waist. She has her Taffeta Panties, Nylons and Gold Heels. The Doll has No splits in her hard plastic anywhere. Her stringing is still tight. Cissy is one of 25 dolls created as centerpieces for the Cissy luncheon at the 1999 MADC Convention in Orlando. She is mint in box with all original accessories. Ash blonde side part flip wig with a Lilly headband. She has Pink lipstick in a slightly oversized pout and natural makeup. She wears an iconic Lilly maxi sheath dress in the original citrus colors that made Lilly famous. Pattern is of butterflies and daisies. She has matching heels and tote bag. She can change into a darling halter style bikini in a coordinating knit. It fits her well. Underneath her maxi dress she wears a simple pair of panties. Her wrist tag is signed and her beach towel is embroidered. Her box is in very good condition. I can find no issues with this doll. She is in like new condition.
