If you’ve been dreaming of that elusive, blonde bombshell of a Cissy, this is it! Just in time for Valentine’s Day? Her lustrous blonde hair is that hard to find side part wig that was only made for one year -1957- as she was once a queen! She much prefers the quiet life these days, lounging in her boudoir reading romance novels. Her hair is amazingly shiny clean, refreshed by me, with tumbles of curls with ties and original spanner bar. Her truest blue eyes, with perfect original lashes, are probably the bluest I’ve seen yet. Her creamy, infused complexion, with high color original blush, eye shadow, and glossy red lips are a sight to behold!! Her exquisite beauty is further accentuated with triple crystal drop earrings and a little engagement solitaire ring I made just for her! She’s keeps herself fit – stringing is perfect for posing beautifully in any outfit you desire. She can even stand by herself if you balance her just right! No splits or cracks that I can see! Her arm and body color still match beautifully, so she can wear those revealing outfits without a problem. She retains her original have and knee blush as well. She’ll come to you in her favorite black lace teddy, vintage seamed stockings, and vintage ruffly black high heeled sandals. Oh, and let’s not forget her flirty little boa & bling!! The only imperfection I can find is that she has a very slight indent on her upper back, which you might be able to see in the tenth photo if you really search, but it’s extremely minor. I’m picking nits here. I believe it was in the manufacturing, and is hardly noticeable. She’s just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. All Cissy’s Secret items are from a non smoking, spotless studio. Props are not included. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Tagged pink and white stripe dress. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched golden blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept over the part in the center, curls in the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original tagged pink and white. Which has the tag on the back, mother-of-pearl buttons down the front. She has an adorable rare hoop skirt. That holds the circle skirt in place with full body and a pink lace bra and pantie set underneath. She wears pink molded plastic shoes. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition. This is a 1959 Blue Mandarin Jacket and Ribbon Skirt Set for the vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. The skirt is made from thick satin with ribbons of color and woven gold threads. The jacket is blue and is lined in organdy and features a unique mandarin collar. The jacket is trimmed at the wrists and center front bodice with embroidered ribbon. The jacket color is bright blue and the ribbon skirt appears to be slightly faded in front but brighter in back. The skirt has a couple of small stain spots that I tried to show in the photos. They are small and hard to see unless you know where to look. These things are reflected in the listing price. The skirt is tagged Cissy in center back seam. I have shown large photos so please look at all of them since they are considered part of the description. I usually respond within a short time. A Vision In Red. This stunning lady (#2285 from 1958) is known to many as The Lady In Red, and this near mint example is a very special Cissy… Her crisply tagged heavy taffeta gown is flawless, except for one pinpoint size dark speck on the bottom left side of the skirt. Her original tulle shawl has two small holes amid all the folds behind the original silver star pin, and this obviously! Is an “invisible” flaw! Cissy wears the original red taffeta slip, and underneath her original hosiery & silver sandals. This Cissy did NOT originally wear a bracelet, but I added this vintage pearl bracelet to compliment her original choker and earrings. It seems some LIRs had a clear rhinestone ring, others a red one… This ring is clear, but I have the vintage red rhinestone ring should you prefer it. Cissy has gorgeous features & all original coloring. Her dark blonde wig is perfection, thick with stacks of curls unique to this wig. She had a very small, narrow separation at the top of her right hip, inside her body cavity, which has been professionally repaired. Also, which is ironically further proof your LIR is original! Cissy has some light red staining on parts of her torso, a result of over 60 years in her beautiful gown. Cissy has crystal clear very-blue eyes with full lashes, and no splits, cracks or odors.
