This is First Time CISSYS CLOTHES COME TOTALLY OFF but just to be photographed. This is not your average Cissy from the 50s – Oh No! RARE MINT Vintage 1955 MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY in her original box with all original outfit and shoes. This doll is Breathtakingingly Beautiful and MINTY- never played with. Cissys complexion is perfect! She has the paler complexion and darker blue eyes that reflect shades of blue and gold that this older era of Cissys had. She has her original full brush lashes, sleep eyes that work, and even the subtle gray eye shadow which is hard to find. The shiny light blonde 50s hairdo is in original uncombed condition with a hard set as when new with original pins. Only a few fly away hairs from her hat. She has blush on cheeks, hands and knees, perfect red sumptuous lips and double stroke painted brows. Her lovely Tagged navy taffeta fitted dress with full skirt is vintage fifties fashion perfection with the gathered tulle sleeves and matching bolero jacket. The half slip is white taffeta with crinolin; white taffeta panties; stockings with seams in back THAT STILL HAVE GOOD ELASTIC; black heels with elastic that has lost a little stretch but very good for their age… Since most of this age are totally stretched out. SHE IS NICELY STRUNG and no cracks or splits. NOTE: There is not a blemish or stain on top of hat. The woven fibers used for hat are thicker in that area This doll is immaculate as well as her outfit and her Hat is the icing on the cake!!! I have NEVER seen this hat – EVER in this Spectacular condition!!! ALL of the extremely fragile dried flowers appear to all be INTACT, as well as the leaves, silk flowers and fruit… I see one of the berries has cracked from age as you can see in photos. ABSOLUTELY 60+ YEAR OLD VINTAGE CISSY PERFECTION!!! The elastic on her shoes has stretched but stay on well and her original Box was used for storage and not mint – has tear and edges of lid torn with tape marks. If you have one Queen in your collection, she doesn’t get any more regal than this! This is a very hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation doll circa 1957. She has a special side part tosca wig that is only found on this doll! She is in wonderful condition and has just been refreshed at Cissy’s Secret Spa, including restringing and blush. Her hair is in its original set. Her coloring is excellent, with original blushing at hands and knees. She has original full lashes and her green eyes open and close with ease. Her stunning gold brocade, tagged, gown is fabulous and correct for this doll! She has the rare slip that was only featured for this gown as well. She has her original panties, stockings and shoes, although the elasticity is showing age as to be expected. Amazingly, she still dons her original gauntlets, bracelets, and precious crown. I’ll include a little lucite purse I made especially for the Queen. The only issue I can find is that she has a slight pinkishness around her waist, but it’s really minor. She’s very clean and free of splits and cracks. Just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. A Vision In Red. This stunning lady (#2285 from 1958) is known to many as The Lady In Red, and this near mint example is a very special Cissy… Her crisply tagged heavy taffeta gown is flawless, except for one pinpoint size dark speck on the bottom left side of the skirt. Her original tulle shawl has two small holes amid all the folds behind the original silver star pin, and this obviously! Is an “invisible” flaw! Cissy wears the original red taffeta slip, and underneath her original hosiery & silver sandals. This Cissy did NOT originally wear a bracelet, but I added this vintage pearl bracelet to compliment her original choker and earrings. It seems some LIRs had a clear rhinestone ring, others a red one… This ring is clear, but I have the vintage red rhinestone ring should you prefer it. Cissy has gorgeous features & all original coloring. Her dark blonde wig is perfection, thick with stacks of curls unique to this wig. She had a very small, narrow separation at the top of her right hip, inside her body cavity, which has been professionally repaired. Also, which is ironically further proof your LIR is original! Cissy has some light red staining on parts of her torso, a result of over 60 years in her beautiful gown. Cissy has crystal clear very-blue eyes with full lashes, and no splits, cracks or odors. Vintage 1940s 21 Composition Alexander Dressed Margaret O’Brien Doll. S he’s a Beauty! Pretty Margaret faced brunette Margaret O’Brien wearing her original coat, hat and dress ensemble. 21 composition Margaret with mohair wig, clear blue sleep eyes and pretty painted features. She has a very nice condition body and pretty face. All composition, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. Clear and sparkly blue sleep eyes with thick brush lashes. Highlighting her eyes grey shadow, single stroke eyebrows, and below long. Right cheek blush, and closed rosebud lips. Her wig is all mohair in the typical O’Brien pigtails, held in place with two blue ribbons. Margaret is wearing her original white organdy dotted Swiss dress with blue trim, full skirt and puff sleeves, blue corduroy coat decorated with white pom poms and matching hat. Underneath, eyelet trimmed one piece undies. On her feet nylon socks and black ankle strap snap shoes. MARK: Madame Alexander on her head and back. Because of her size, she will need a 24 box and the Post Office is now charging for volume as well as weight. Rates have gone up. Good, carefully played with condition. Her painted facial features are all in tack and appear original. She has working, clear sleep eyes with thick brush lashes. Her vintage wig is mohair in a nice set although her pigtails look a bit short. Even skin tone with original paint. Fingers and toes have had rough repairs on their tips – see pictures. She has light to moderate over all crazing. Paint wear to joints. No cracks, chips, lifting or flaking paint. Her costume is not tagged but is easily recognized and has working square snaps and serged seams. The coat and hat are in good displayed condition. The set has working snaps, original pom poms and light over all display soil. The dress fabric is thin and fragile. It has small rust stains at the neck, several rips – the one in front shown in pics and additionally several in the back of the skirt. All are about 1/2″ to 1″ in size. The one piece underwear appears to be original. It closes with a safety pin and is in good condition. Her socks and ankle strap, snap shoes are in good condition and look like vintage replacements. Her costume is in fair to good displayable condition. Please read the description and examine the photos – both are an important part of the description. THANK YOU FOR VISITING US. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander 14 CINDERELLA & PRINCE CHARMING Dolls.. This beautiful pair was recently acquired from the original owner who received the dolls as a gift in the early 1950′s. A rare set of 14 Cinderella and Prince Charming dolls from the early 1950′s. She is dressed in her pale blue satin ball gown with puff sleeves and decorated with silver metallic trim and tiny silver stars. Her dress is lined in white satin and she also has a net trimmed petticoat and lace trimmed panties. She has a gold metallic coronet on her lovely platinum blond hair which is held in place with the original hairnet. She is wearing her original plastic “glass” slippers which fit her perfectly, of course! The handsome Prince is wearing an ivory brocade satin tunic top, ivory bloomers and matching cape with gold metallic trim and satin lining. He has an ivory cap which matches the outfit and is accented with original white feather, white tights and original gold satin snap-on shoes. He has reddish brown curly hair and rosy cheeks. Both dolls are all original with no markings visible and no hangtags. Both their outfits are tagged with labels. There are no cracks on either doll and no odors. They are well strung and heads, arms and legs work and pose well. They have sleep eyes (hers are green, his are blue) with thick brush lashes. The only issues noted on either doll are with her petticoat. The snap at the top is missing and there is slight age discoloration at the hem where the net trim is attached (see photos). Listed here is a complete outfit, including tagged dress, for your vintage Cissy doll. I see some of these pieces come along fairly often, but this outfit is exceptionally nice, and I hope you’ll consider it if you’re looking for this particular one. The sheer green dress is nylon with pink flocked flowers. It is trimmed in green lace around the neckline and puffed sleeves, and it is lined in the bodice in chartreuse taffeta to match the companion slip and lace-trimmed panties. There are four square snaps down the back, all secure. A pink satin ribbon defines the waist and ties in a generous bow in the back. Its original corsage and greenery are in excellent shape. The straw hat is adorned with the same pink silky satin ribbon and has its original floral trim that looks great. The chartreuse taffeta slip and panties have had their elastic replaced with vintage pink rayon and rubber elastic, and it is nice and tight in both pieces. I have added to the mix a pair of vintage pink high heels with excellent elastic and a vintage gold-toned watch with pink elastic band. Never did like the look of the black high heels with this pretty dress. The dress, slip, and panties have not been washed. I started to press the ribbon streamers before taking the pictures, but I don’t think they have ever been pressed, and I wanted the purchaser (if there is one) to have the honor of doing that. The sleeves of the dress have had elastic woven through the stretched original elastic to give the right fit. I don’t see any spots, stains, tears, holes, frays, or other on the dress, slip, or panties. The slip could use a very light press. The lighting for the pictures is not doing the fabric justice. I have shown a close-up in two pictures of the fabric to show you that the little lines are present. They seem to appear and disappear according to the lighting. The Cissy doll that this outfit originally came on is modeling in the pictures, but she and her stand are not included. Vintage Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll Pink Striped Dress Tagged Outfit. Gorgeous Cissy doll from 1956, dressed in her (tagged) pink shirt waist dress outfit. I believe the outfit is complete and all original. Overall very nice vintage condition! Marked Alexander on the back of her neck. She has sleep eyes that open and close, but do stick closed. Nice curl to her blonde hair. No cracks or splits in her legs or upper thighs. The beginning of a split between her legs, very light, does not go all the way through. A small ring on her finger. A few flaws to the outfit (see last photo): spots on the back of the dress by the tag, a repair to her sleeve cuff, a small hole in the heel area of her hose. The panties have holes as well, the netting on her hat is present, but torn. Also some wear to the velvet on the belt. None of these flaws are very noticeable, she still displays beautifully! These are flaws that I noticed, may be other small things that I missed.
