Madame Alexander Dolls

Today I have a beautiful Madam Alexander 14-15 Amy doll from Little Women. This doll is from the early 1950′s. I also include a doll stand for her. Amy has her original dress, with tag, pantaloons and shoes. There is one small spot on the back of her dress that may come out, see photo close up. Her lovely blonde hair has a little missing from her bangs and needs her curls restyles. I think she had black bows at one time. Other than that she is in wonderful used condition, a lovely doll for your vintage collection. Her eyes open and close and all joints work. Please see pictures for full details. Lovely doll in great condition. ELISE has very pretty color but I did notice marking on one side of her face, visible in phot provided. She wears a VHTF lilac/ lavender floral dress. Although in great shape, it is not mint. Free from any smoke or odors, but she does have a small stain that should wash out easily, its on the underside of the dress on the hem, you should be able to see the stain easily in picture provided. The dress is not missing any of the rhinestones, appears unwashed but does need pressing. Pretty undergarments as well. She DOES NOT have her shoes or stockings. She comes from original owner. This is a beautiful madame Alexander 10 Cissette doll. She has her outfit with coat and gold shoes. She has neat blue earrings which are original. Pants are a little stretched around the waist. Shoe elastic is stretched. Face is super pretty and outfit is nice with just a small spot on the coat. The hair has a little weird glue area in front at the beginning of the seam. Set of five composition dolls were marketed by Madame Alexander in the mid-1930s. They are fully marked on both the heads and bodies. They have sweet faces with lashed eyes, closed mouths, rosy cheeks, and brown painted hair. The chubby toddler bodies have rosy knees and each has the original dresses, undergarments, shoes, and stockings. The gold name pins are also still pinned to each doll. This is a fabulous, 9 Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in a lovely Cissette gown Outfit. She has her original dark blonde Wig in original set. Beautiful bright Face coloring with green Eyes that open and close easily. Her Body is in excellent condition and tightly strung. Both Knees bend fine. Cissette is wearing a Cissette flocked net pink Gown with tagged pink taffeta Slip, taffeta Pantaloons, Nylon, Cissette type white Shoes with vintage Hat. Just one of inkFrog’s. From a recent estate sale is a very nice Madame Alexander Alex doll. The doll appears to me to be unplayed with – her clothes are clean and her hair is as it should be. She came in the box shown – I don’t know if it is the original box. The MA booklet shows this outfit and numbers it 580 but the box has the number 568. The doll has brown eyes and blonde hair and is a bent knee walker. She has a small dark spot of what appears to be plastic on the inside back of her knee – photo 6 – it appears to me it may be a manufacturing flaw. Her clothes are untagged. One shoe has the stitching separating on the back seam and another shoe has pencil writing on the bottom. The booklet which came in the box is in very good condition – I find no date in it. The box lid has a tear and corner separation on one end flap. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new. I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear – but you should expect some wear on them. Exceptional Vintage 1937 Madame Alexander 17 Jane Withers Composition Doll. An exceptionally clean Jane Withers doll with all original tagged clothing! Her twin sister, a little shorter (16), is listed in a separate listing. This is a vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Jane Withers 17 composition doll. All of her clothing are original. Her pink floral dress retains its original perfect tag and size tag sewn neatly in the seams, appears to have never been washed, and the cotton fabric is still full and crisp. Onesie slip is in the same beautiful clean condition as the dress, unwashed, full fabric, and crisp. And, the matching hat is spotless clean and retains its original form. All in like new condition. Original socks and shoes are also near perfect. One of the decorative metal buckles is missing. Ane also comes with her original gold untarnished script name pin. Jane’s composition is in amazing beautiful condition. No breakage, crazing, stains, or paint flaking. Only has five sharp pencil point surface lines. Actually looks like drawn sharp pencil lines, but cannot be rubber erased. Two by her right eye, two near her mouth, and one on her left leg (please see close-up photos). Nearly unnoticeable in person. Her original sleep eyes have darkened to a deep dark brown, sometimes needs a nudge to open. Jane’s reddish-brown mohair wig is still full and retain all of its original curls. Stringing is good, can easily hold a pose, and displays beautifully. Much nicer in person, photos don’t do justice. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll in Tagged Lingerie. This doll is lovely and will be a beautiful display doll. She is in nice condition but does have some flaws. Hair – in original set but does have a thin layer on the back that is a little messy. It will lay down on the head fine. I took a picture with it pulled away from the head so you can get a clear picture. Head – no cracks. The head tends to lean forward and will bobble a little. It almost feels like it might be strung a little too tight but it has no problem holding a position. Face – Brows are there but a little light. Very faint to no cheek color. Lips are great with no rubs or fading. Eyes open and close, sometimes they need a little tap. Some lashes on one eye are cut but not gone. Arms – strung tight and in good condition. Might need to be cleaned as they have some light spots in various places. Torso – very good condition. One breast has a tiny spot on it that did not come off with just water but might come off with a magic eraser, I just don’t have one right now. The rest of the torso looks nice but could use cleaning. Legs – Very nice. Legs have some scratches at the top where they have rubbed against the torso. One foot has some fading on the top. One leg has a small red mark on the front. The other legs has a small, faint mark on the back. Outfit – is tagged. Some fraying on the inside lining on the top. Straps still have some stretch left.
