VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER 17 ANNABELLE WITH ORIGINAL CLOTHES. This is a pretty vintage Madame Alexander doll from around 1952. In the Madame Alexander book she is listed as #1510, Kate Smith’s Annabelle. Her dress is white and trimmed in red ric rac. Her red sweater says Annabelle across the front. The red has faded a little. For some reason, the tag had been cut out of the neck of the dress. You can see the little part that is remaining in the seam. Her underclothes are also original. Shoes and socks have been replaced with vintage socks and shoe that are very close to the original. Her hair is in the original set. Her face color is good. Eyes stick a little. Only problem is her hair. One side has a little short strand on one side. On the top there is some residue of glue where it appears there has been a repair or maybe the original ribbon was glued on. Body is in good condition and limbs are not loose. She has been displayed in a smoke free home. Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Doll Red/White HTF Organdy Polka Dots 1956 Dress. Up for sale is one of my Madame Alexander Cissy dolls, plus her dress & accessories. Doll has not been improved by me, Ive owned for approximately 10 years. I see no cracks or repairs, she has blue/green eyes & lush hair which would look superb if fixed right. Because Im afraid of doing damage, Ive never done. Wig is tight on head. Alexander on back of head. She may have been restrung her left leg, to me, looks a tad longer, but maybe she needs new stringing, although she poses well for me & legs bend at appropriate places- hips knees. Just looked & string is white so guess she is restrung. Her left leg seems to go a little forward when standing – which now I would attribute to the restringing. Just looked at my other Cissys & their left leg looks a tad longer also. Her paint on her body has some lighter spots & inside of both legs have what to me looks like a line or rub. Her eyes clack when opening eyes, & Im pretty sure at one time I thought her eyes needed replacing, adjusting something, because even though I cant get get them to sink with eye lashes in head, now, it did it in the past 5-6 years ago. Shes been posed & dressed In my closet for her life with me. Eyes are opening & closing well now. The red & white organdy polka dot dress was made in 1956. Described as dress of sheer dotted organdy with typical shirtwaist construction. Features a built in taffeta camisole trimmed with ungathered Val lace. Supposed to have belt loops. One may still be partly there, & supposed to have red ribbon sash (easy enough to replace) but I always used this very versatile red plastic belt. The hat & purse are Robert Originals & compliment the dress, at least to me it does. She also had on (& is included) a full cotton slip & panties. Her shoes are black with white straps, (the dress originally came with red), & a fluffy slip I was told to be original, but Im not sure myself. Her red purse has a red polka dot bow which complements her dress. The dress has a couple brown spots on left sleeve, a funny repair on outside of right sleeve, a tiny hole on left back by waist. This has always been my favorite of the Cissy dresses & Im glad it will go to someone who appreciates not only these dolls but the beautiful clothes that were designed for her. Oh yes you can see the tag part that was sewn in & cut off on the bank of the dress. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL IN GREEN ORGANDY GARDEN PARTY DRESS. The hat and purse are replacements, but are perfect accessories for the dress. The shoes are replacements as well. The dress does look pale green in person, but some of the photos make it look greyish. The sash could stand pressing, but overall, I would say that the dress is in very good played with condition. The doll shows some soiling, but again, looks to be in very nice played with condition. Her eyes are clear and her lashes are full. Her eyes stick a bit when she goes from standing up to lying down. Please note that some of the photos show a mark by her one eye, but it did come off as you can see in the full photo of her face. If you have any questions, please ask. For your Collecting pleasure. FABULOUS matched pair of large , 16″ tall, “Susie Q” and Bobby Q”, labeled , stuffed cloth character dolls by Madame Alexander from the 1938 comic strip. Susie still has her complete sewn-in label on her clothing: “Susie Q”/Madame Alexander, New York. They each have huge, painted blue. Side-glancing (googly shaped) eyes glancing to each other and matching red , white and blue. Felt and cotton outfits complete with matching felt shoes with spats. These sweet faced, early cloth dolls each have their original yarn hair, (Susie has black hair with scalloped bangs and long braids and Bobby has curly brown hair). They each have comical expressions, molded pug noses, long eyelashes and rosy cheeks. They also have molded flat feet to stand and mitt-shaped hands with separate thumbs. Susie has red striped legs and Bobby has blue striped legs. She wears her red and white polka dot printed dress with attached white petticoat and panties and pleated organdy collar beneath her fitted blue felt jacket and Bobby wears similar blue felt jacket over his red and white polka dot shorts with attached white cotton shirt, undies and red and white tie. Both wear their white felt spats with three button closures over their black felt shoes. They are in very good condition with no stains, very minimal fading to Susie’s dress and no odors as they are from a smoke free home. Vintage Madame Alexander Walker Margot Ballerina Margaret Face Doll 18. Margaret faced “Margot Ballerina” by Madame Alexander. #1850 of the 1954 Madame Alexander catalog. This beautiful girl is a Straight Leg Walker and her head. Turns from side to side when her legs are moved! Her gorgeous golden blonde hair is waved away from her. And secured at the back in her original hair net. Spanner bar on top of head. Her lovely hair is accented with a headpiece of pink and white flowers. Pink Satin and tulle costume is accented with sparkly prong set rhinestones on the bodice. She is missing her shoes. Eyes close when laid down. They do open and close fine. There is a small, very stable surface crack under her chin, which is smooth feeling i. There is no surface unevenness. One of her sticking has several holes. These flaws are shown in detail photographs. Her costume is in very good condition, with no holes, rips, tears or stains, other than some very light overall surface soiling. This is Olive Bird Print from 1957. Rare and Hard to find All Original Tagged Olive Bird Print dress. Polished cotton fabric with unique print of swirling vines and leaves scattered with birds. It has organdy sleeves and sash. The dress is all Original, never laundered and has retained its’ original sheen. The only issues I found are: missing flower on the front sash and the elastic on the sleeves has relaxed. Very Rare Dress in Excellent condition with no damage or repairs. 1942 Madame Alexander Kate Greenaway Doll – 15 Hand Tag. Marks are Princess Elizabeth/Madame Alexander. Beautiful doll in htf condition with almost no crazing, gorgeous coloring, all lashes, clear blue eyes, and bright original mohair wig. She is wearing her original yellow dress that has a few holes one hidden by her arm and tiny ones here and there. Elastic in sleeves and underwear are great. Hat has a few thinning spots, ribbon is vintage and one feather is still remaining. She comes with her original gauntlets and Madame Alexander hand tag. One sock has hole and shoes are newer.
