Absolutely stunning Cissy doll by MME. No splits or cracks. Has her eyelashes and makeup has not been touched. She has a small spot on her left cheek where it has lost color and a couple rub spots on her eyelid of left eye. Her face color is amazing and upon first glance appears flawless. She wears a tagged Cissy dress that is in overall good condition. Two small spots had to be mended where lace meets fabric and in the armpit of her right arm. 1950s Madame Alexander Sweet Violet 18 Doll, Cissy Binnie Face, All Original. 1950s Madame Alexander Sweet Violet 18 Doll, Cissy Binnie Face, All Original Lovely and very rare vintage Sweet Violet Doll by Madame Alexander, early 1950s. She’s 18 tall, hard plastic with jointed arms, elbows, wrists, legs and knees. She has the Cissy Binnie face, blue eyes with a hint of violet to them, full lashes, eyes open and close well. Pretty face painting, nice hair accented with her original purple velvet hat with millinery flowers. She’s wearing her original dress, panties, shoes (one shoe is missing a flower) and her beautiful violet coat with tiny buttons, coat is tagged in the back. She’s a very pretty and hard to find doll. This is a beautiful Vintage Princess Elizabeth Madame Alexander Composition Doll with Original Clothes & Tiara. The doll has her original Tiara on her head – socks & silver shoes with buckles on her feet – her under garment is a slip with attached panty (on the back of the panty is a couple of tiny holes) & a sweet pink dress embellished with 3 pink roses with green leaves & 2 buttons on back with the label that reads Princess Elizabeth – Madame Alexander – N. The doll measures 17 tall. The face has very faint crazing – one eye is foggy & she probably needs to be restrung (the arms, legs & head are loose). She has an open mouth with four upper teeth. Her clothes were only taken off for the first time just for the photo. From a clean smoke free home. Please take a good look at all photos. Year: 1997 this doll is over 20 years old! Great condition – slight marks on hat – I haven’t tried to clean it off, this doll has been sitting in the box for over 10 years (never displayed) Comes with doll stand. Madame Alexander has captured Samantha’s late 60′s style classy hairdo and has dressed Samantha in a long emerald green semi-sheer crepe gown with green metallic lining and long black velvet fitted sleeves. The empire waist treatment is figure hugging at bodice and flairs out to a generous a-line contour. Bodice trim underlay of black stretch acrylic knit forms a deep v in both front and back of her gown. Her full length, black crushed velvet cloak features dramatic stand-up collar lined in the green gown fabric and is attached to her sleeves at cuffs, which taper to a point. Broom, witches cap and gold tone necklace with bold solitaire heart complete her look. She has NO splits or cracks, however she does have signs of play wear. Little scratches here and there. This Cissy is all original, and she has not been altered or re-touched in any way. She is very close to mint except for missing shoes. Her necklace is caught under her neck. I dare not try to recover it in fear of breaking the stringing. Her sweeping gown is lace print over heavy faille. Her cape is orlon Ermin and satin lined. She has a velvet sash with a flower corsage. Matching original ribbon in her hair. Pale blue paper taffeta and tulle slip. Her panties are trimmed with val lace. Seamed hose, finger-less gloves and rhinestone bracelet necklace, and earrings. Her face is lovely with light pink cheeks, perfect eye lashes, clear blue eyes and the original mat finish. She has a few fly away hairs from lying stored on her back. I will be adding a picture of her slip/panties. I added a professional picture of another doll. It is the last photo.
